It gives me such joy to walk outside at sunrise to see that all of my plants are thriving, beneath another sunrise in #drippingspringstx. #texashillcountry #80220sunrise #containergardening #texashillcountrygardening #centraltexasgardener https://www.instagram.com/p/CDY90x5gAbe/?igshid=136vvjc3853ob

This morning, I had to cut back some plants, including lemon verbena and banana mint, before they flower. I decided to make floral water out of both. This is lemon verbena floral water. “Lemon verbena hydrosol (basically the same as floral water) has powerful calming, sedative properties and makes a great mental relaxant and can help alleviate that tense, “knot in the stomach” feeling. It is also great for using on the skin as well as in the body as a general wellness tonic.” Next, a huge pile of banana mint. #texashillcountrygardens #containergardening #lemonverbena #bananamint #floralwater #herbalremedies #hillcountrytxgardener https://www.instagram.com/p/CCEktgGgog6/?igshid=p6rj61ps0qca
