has anybody pointed out that nowhere in the actual film does it state that the macmanus brothers are twins. like that word does not occur once in the entire fucking script
do you like how we all just, saw these two fuckers with their weird mirror image tattoos and their unsettling synchronicity as adult men and we were all just like "yeah the only read to that that makes sense is 'twins'"
(like seriously why do they deliberately dress identically, why do they live in mirror image, why do they move in sync, why do they speak in sync, why did they get matching fucking tattoos--
(again, i say, you have accidentally written these two in a way where it actually makes more sense and it is less fucking weird if you assume---)
new contrarian assertion: murphy is actually 3-8 years older than connor change my mind
sure, Akemi holding a grudge against Mizu even after Mizu tries to bury the hatchet is harsh. but also from Akemi's POV here's a random young dude who seduced her fiancee, ruined any hope she had for a happy life, bullied her at a brothel, gave her a lecture on how to be a woman, kept her prisoner at the aforementioned brothel, and then refused to kill a couple of guys trying to kidnap her after he just mowed down a small army
a scenario where isaness are dating and isagi idly wonders what ness sees in him until he sees an old video of kaiser and has a sudden, uncomfortable realization about ness' taste in men. and then buries it under a thousand layers of tar
taliesin's "I want to play an asshole" character following after taliesin's other "I want to play an asshole" character to tell him that he's being an asshole
i would understand if they were like. genuinely trying to set up house as an addict. yes he needs the pain meds to stop his pain but he's also built up an addiction to them. i'm not a doctor whatever maybe that happens. but cameron LITERALLY just said that house didn't once take his pills in that brief stint where he was "cured" meaning HES NOT AN ADDICT??? we've been doing this since season one and i genuinely thought they just had a weird outlook on people who rely on pain meds but. no. i think they're genuinely trying to paint him as an addict. how was this allowed to air
Just started season 2 of TMA and I can’t decide if Jon’s pivot from cynical skeptic to a paranoid trust-no-one believer is hilarious or worse than s1 skeptic Jon.
(Also mute the tag ‘lark rambles about tma’ if you don’t wish to be subjected to ~72 posts about my reactions and mini theories about The Magnus Archives)
