Can we talk about the amount of TRUST Aziraphale has in Crowley in this scene

Because ok, we know gluttony is a sin, and so does Aziraphale, but I want to talk about the fact that he has NO idea what it tastes like. Look here in the next gif. It's not just the fact that he's taken back by the offer or temptation, so to speak, but it's also scepticism.

He doesn't know what meat tastes like. For all he knows, it tastes awful, or makes you ill, or is harmful to angels and demons. After all, no respectable angel has yet tried earthly or "gross" matter yet, have they?

In the next one, we can particularly see that scepticism, but also RESOLUTION. He's made up his mind that he can't be tempted, so he isn't doing anything sinful. No, the expression he has on the next gif is VIGILANCE.

He's determined to try it but is still suspicious. And it's not like Crowley tried the ox rib himself to show Aziraphale it's safe like he did with the wine.

And it's not just the fact that it might taste bad, but it's also the fact that, as these two are SUPPOSED to be hereditary enemies, it might have also crossed Aziraphale's mind that the meat might have been poisoned, or has had at least some form of contamination.

But Aziraphale still pushes on. Despite his doubt, despite his wariness, he puts weight on his own judgement and decides to TRUST Crowley.

Here, we can very clearly see the reaction he has to food. The grimace he makes shows how he probably thinks it's not going to taste any good. He's almost certain that it's not going to be a pleasant experience and that it might just have been a joke or a prank the entire time.

But, as always, he realises Crowley would never do that to him.
