Fluffy date headcanons for Ai, Otoya, Syo and Reiji?

Otoya

Otoya would be pretty nervous about the date, but when he picks up his s/o all his nerves fly out the window and he’s super excited to see them. He notices that they dressed up for the event, and he’s quick to mention how nice they look.

He’ll definitely want to do something active with his s/o. While he would have preferred high energy sports, he’ll settle for walking around the park since his s/o went through a lot of effort to look good.

Otoya doesn’t think twice before he grabs his s/o’s hand to lead them around, and once he notices he gets a little flustered and his s/o just laughs and grabs his hand again.

After a while, Otoya decides they should eat. On the way to grab food, they pass by an arcade and DDR is directly in his line of sight.

“Oh, S/o, let’s play quick! It’ll be my treat!”

His s/o is whisked away to the bright lights of the arcade, and Otoya hops over to DDR instantly. He’s really good at it! As one of Starish’s best dancers, it’s no surprise. A small crowd forms and people cheer him on as he gets high scores on all the songs.

His s/o is surprised when Otoya pulls them up on the platform with him, and he decides they’ll play doubles for the next song. He ignores all their protests and tells them to pick something good.

It’s hard to say no to Otoya’s smiling face. His s/o picks one of his songs (Hyper Super Lover?) and winks, claiming that he’s going down.

The music starts up and they’re all laughs as they dance, and they wind up having so much fun they ignore the game screen and do their own impromptu routine, complete with lots of twirls and dips and over-the-top moves. At the final few notes, Otoya lifts his s/o and hugs them tight as he spins them, and their small audience aws at their cute performance.

Otoya puts his s/o down and his s/o gives him a peck on the cheek and leads him off the platforms. They worked up quite the appetite dancing, so now it was their turn to treat him.

Syo

When it snowed for the first time, it snowed. So much that school was called off and everyone was super excited, especially Syo.

As soon as he received the announcements, Syo texted his s/o and told them to get bundled up and to meet him outside the dorms.

Once his s/o arrives, Syo tells them that they can’t waste the snow day inside and that they should spend as much time outside as possible.

Syo notices that they forgot their scarf, so he takes his and loops it around their neck.

“We’ve got a long day ahead of us, don’t want you catching a cold or anything…”

Most of their day is spent playing the in the snow. Snowmen, building a fort… some of their classmates had the same idea and were out and about, and a snowball fight was inevitable.

Syo refuses to lose, so of course his s/o hops on his team and they put up quite the fight. The rate they were able to make snowballs was unreal, but their hard work paid off and they emerged victorious.

Syo is super excited over the victory. He hugs his s/o as they gloat over their win.

Of course, since it was a war, they didn’t make it out completely unscathed. They’re both soaking wet at this point. So, they call it a day and head inside to get warm.

After stopping at their own dorm, Syo’s s/o meets him in his room, in their pajamas with a blanket in hand.

“Sorry, your scarf is drying. I’ll bring it over tomorrow.”

“It’s ok, S/o, you can keep it. Seriously!”

They hop on the couch and cuddle under the blanket, and Syo turns on the latest Prince of Fighting program that he appeared in.

As the movies play, the sun sets and his s/o’s eyes struggle to stay open. All of Syo’s episodes were over, and they finally let their eyes slip shut.

Syo smiles down at them and helps them get comfortable. He plays with their hair as he finishes up the last few minutes of the program and drinks the last few sips of the cocoa they made.

It was a long day, and S/o was probably exhausted. It’d be okay to let them sleep a few minutes longer.

Reiji

Reiji’s s/o was met with quite the surprise when they had opened the door to greet him. They had a date planned, but Reiji insisted on keeping it a secret. All he had said was to be prepared to spend the day outside.

Reiji had a huge smile and his arms were full of… a lot of things, actually.

“We’re going to try rollerblading!” he said before he let himself in, pushing his way past a very confused s/o.

“You know how to do that?!”

“Nope! We’re going to learn together, though!”

Reiji dumped two pairs of roller blades, helmets, and kneepads on his s/o’s couch. At least he was always prepared when it came to his crazy ideas…

Before they knew it, Reiji’s s/o was swept out the door and they were on their way to the park.

Despite the initial shock, it didn’t take much convincing to actually get the skates on. Reiji seemed pretty pleased with himself when his s/o noticed that he made sure all their gear was matching in color.

Reiji got up on his feet first. His legs were shaky but he stayed confident as he held his hands out for his s/o to take.

“I don’t want to take you down with me!”

“Don’t worry, we’re in this together!”

Just as his s/o had predicted, once they joined hands they both took a spill and ended up on the ground. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and they laughed it off and tried to go at it again.

Their attempts continued for quite a while before they were able to stand. Reiji kept a tight hold on his s/o’s hands, and he promised that now that he’d gotten the hang of it, they weren’t going to fall down again.

The rest of their date was filled with a lot of laughter and slow skating. By the end of the day, they were able to skate more or less on their own, but they still held hands the entire time anyway.

When the sun had set and they decided it was time to stop, they switched back into their regular shoes and started the walk back home.

Reiji insists on stopping by a ramen place on the way, though, and they finish off the night laughing over dinner.

Dates with Ai always started a little too early in the morning.

He has no problem with letting himself into his s/o’s apartment to wake them up. It’s usually a welcome surprise for his s/o, being able to start the day with him.

Ai informs them they’re going to a museum. While his s/o is getting ready, he’ll read off the information he has gathered about the museum and will make a tentative schedule for which exhibits they’ll visit.

Once his s/o is ready, Ai will take their hand as they depart for the museum. They spend most of the walk there hand in hand.

Once they arrive, his s/o is surprised to see they can skip the line because Ai had already bought their tickets. He wastes no time and leads his s/o right to the first exhibit.

Most of their date consists of Ai rattling off details about the various exhibits. He’ll stop and ask his s/o their opinion frequently, and will inquire which exhibits seem interesting to them that they’d like to see. His s/o noticed that he still hasn’t let go of their hand.

The day goes on, and Ai leads them to the gift shop. There are all sorts of things to buy there, and Ai tells his s/o to pick something out so they can remember their date.

“Mementos do a good job of bringing you joy when you go back and reflect on the memories of the trip. Make you you choose something you really like.”

Once they were done shopping, they hit the last few stops and pick up some ice cream to share on the way home.

As they walk, Ai checks to make sure that his s/o had a good time. When they rattle off their favorite parts of the museum, Ai smiles and gets a head start on planning their next date.
