All it takes is a wee little nightmare to make you too scared to step foot outside for fear of Bad Things happening, like it’s an omen lol

#also it is p o u r i n g outside and it takes me an hour and fifteen minutes to commute to campus #i'm a good little student but sometimes i just can't be assed #esp with all the crazy stuff that's been happening on public transit and on my campus for that matter #i'm just getting a bad vibe today [insert empath meme here]#warning for me complaining about a graphic nightmare!!!!:#had a few stress dreams(?) last night but one particularly violent one in which a woman got run over by a streetcar--#--and the paramedics were moving people along but i accidentally got a really good look at her and it fucked me up #she looked like she was just sleeping peacefully but i could only really make out the top half of her body #probably because the bottom half was... yeah.#i think i also had another dream that i was being hunted by a sniper?? and they had called my cell and were threatening me + my folks?#and another one where i had to hide some children from... i don't really know what. some dangerous person who wanted to kill all of us #but the kids wouldn't leave me even though i begged them to.#yeah just a normal collection of dreams for me. literally ugh.#i don't even think i'm stressed in my life rn??#not any more than normal lol

well that's the worst nightmare I've had in a while

#we were at the grocery store and a shooter came in. my sibling and i were separated at the time.#they died. and i was theone to find their body afterward. so. that fucking sucked.#woke up and strted to cry bc i thought it was real for a second #dream journal #edit bc i dont eant to reblog it to say this but ive had time to process it now #i was the only fucking person who cared that xe died. the dream cut to after the shooter was arrested and we were preparing for xer funeral #i think the dream implied that yhe shooter was an ex employee at the store and my dad and i were trying to like. talk to the owners about Y #Your Ex Employee Killed My Fucking Sibling #and the manager or boss or ehoever just. didnt care. didnt have any sympathy #my dad was there. but he didnt speak. i had to beg the managet to feel anything for the child who was shot and killed in his store.#to pay for xer funeral? i dont know.#we were there getting a blind bag toy xe had talked aout going to get irl since it was a short walk there really #i was looking for those pink chocolate chips.#to make cookies fro my friends #thats why i eoke up thinking it was real i think #most of my set-in-reality nightmares hinge on something that Cant happen anymore. this one was based on Recent Events and Planned Events #i had woken up just before six. when xe gets up for school. so i stared crying bc Oh My God Xe's Dead Xe's Never Going To Go To School Again #i dont think ive looked them in the face at all today.

#kirby #kirby nightmare in dream land #kirby's dream land 2 #kirby super star ultra #kirby's dream land 3 #kirby 64 the crystal shards #kirby and the amazing mirror #kirby squeak squad #kirby triple deluxe #kirby planet robobot #kirby air ride #the games seem to have a trend of being remade ~12 years after they were first released so TECHNICALLY the 3ds games are too recent for tha #but whatever! i had the space for more options so i put them there #and i really only wanted to include the mainline games but i think i remember hearing a lot about people wanting an air ride remake #so it gets to be special and be here! dgdhshsf. never actually played it myself though #i also didn't plan on including the games that already had remakes but again i had space in the poll so! why not?#i voted amazing mirror personally!#the game was made to be multiplayer but that's just. not easy to do #i don't think it was easy when it first released (though admittedly i have no personal experience with that) and it certainly isn't today #but a modern remake would fix that!#yeah yeah i know nintendo's online isn't all that great but it'd still be something! it'd be fun to play it online with my friends!#and if nothing else a split screen local multiplayer would still be great too!#and amazing mirror's plot would lend itself well to an added meta knightmare mode #meta knight defeats dark meta instead of getting sealed away and gets to save the mirror world himself like he had planned to #i do know that amazing mirror should be coming to the gba switch online thing eventually though #so even if it never gets a proper remake i hope that the port will at least add some sort of multiplayer?#that might actually get me to buy the online subscription that includes the gba games dgdhshsf #kirby 64 would be my second choice just because it could use a graphical upgrade the most. 3d models don't age nearly as well as sprites do #only problem is that 64 is part of a trilogy. so it'd be kinda weird if it gets redone but dream land 2 and 3 don't #not a comic or an ask

And although there's merit to it in knowing news as soon as they happen‚#in the long run the death of this kind of central official content ***fan*** blogs is such a huge loss of fandom spaces‚#especially for the archiving purposes they solved. Especially today that T/witter and G/oogle have basically become unusable.#Literally. Literally. I've been doing official content archiving since I was 11 #(because that's the very specific kind of mental illness I have)#and let me tell you that the quality of web search and especially reverse image search only got worse–#in a way that is very evident and noticeable. Which is crazy tbh and not how things should work.#If anyone would like to start a bsd-central kind of blog I'll be the first one to follow.#Actually if anyone actually wants to establish it feel free to contact me and I'll be more than happy to share the resources I have!!!!#It just needs to be something multi-modded for a series of reasons I won't get into right now #I just can't personally do it (not as main admin at least) because that would be modding my FIFTH active bsd blog–#and that's a little too much even for me.#On top of some ethical concerns I have regarding whether it'd be fair for me to mod a fandom central bsd blog–#when I feel like I can't genuinely share the same amount of love for the franchise other fans share #On top of. Had a dream where I was back in high school in a math class and my teacher was just. Incredibly disrespectful about my identity/pronouns. So I swapped to the other math class section with a different teacher

And new teacher didn’t use my pronouns either, but it still felt better. And then someone broke my desk. And someone asked me if I made the right choice swapping, because neither teacher used my pronouns, right? And I just had this moment of such clarity, of, “yeah, he doesn’t use my pronouns. He doesn’t always use the right name. But you know what? He’s angry someone broke my desk, and I know that if he finds out who it was, they would be in trouble. And it wouldn’t be like that with the other teacher.”

Just. Utter clarity of the definition between someone who doesn’t understand pronouns but still sees me as a person deserving of safety vs. someone who maliciously doesn’t use my pronouns as a way to communicate disrespect and thinks that means I don’t deserve to be safe

i constantly say "i wrote dbh" to jokingly justify my headcanons if they don't totally match up with canon but i take it back almost immediately in my head because i actually don't want to be david cage in any timeline ever. that guy needs to put the pen and paper DOWN

#i've played two whole quantic dream games and both of them had these insane plot holes that were Never filled by the end of the game #heavy rain was the worst of this because there were whole instances where the game would just make things up to aid the plot #at least with dbh it's just “huh. this taking place over the course of one work week makes zero sense. cool”#(like that's any better. the bar is low)#i try my hardest to interpret the messiest parts of this game in a way that makes them Less headache inducing but it's very #Very. hard.#when i say the only reason i'm in the fandom today is bc i'm autistic it's true. if i was capable of being normal about anything it'd be dbh #this isn't me shitting on anyone who likes heavy rain & dbh (EYE like them) but cage could've benefited from a ghost writer #and a little sensitivity training .
