The clock strikes 3 in the morning. You have your eyes closed as Seungwoo’s feather-like touch traces geometric patterns on your bare skin, drawing imaginary lines to connect the moles on your back. It’s barely there, a dream touch, and you’re almost dozing off when he moves closer and presses his face against your back, replacing his hand with his lips to plant a gentle kiss between your shoulder blades.
“Y/N. Are you sleeping?” he whispers and you shake your head, not bothering to open your eyes “So I was thinking… Do you think it’s weird? Us, like this. Does it feel weird to you?”
“Not really.” You reach for his hand on your hip and pull him closer, demanding cuddles “I mean maybe a little, but it’s nice, isn’t it? I think it’s nice. How do you feel?”
Seungwoo tightens his arms around you, nuzzling your neck “It’s weird but in a good way. Kinda like finding old songs from your favorite band and listening to them for the first time.” He sighs, hot breath fanning on your skin where his lips had just been “It is nice, isn’t it?”
You chuckle.
“Quit beating around the bush, darling. Is there something you wanna say?”
He sighs again, but his tone is different now.
“Am I gonna see you again?”
His sudden question prompts you to wake up for real. You turn around and look into his lovely sleepy eyes.
“Well… Do you want to?”
“Yes,” he answers not even a beat later.
The way he states it, so quick and certain of himself while still wondering if you want the same, get your blood racing.
“Great, because I’d like that too.”
Seungwoo lets out a shy giggle, it’s an adorable sound. He leans in to peck your lips then moves back and pulls you closer to rest your head on his chest, wrapping his arms around you under the covers. You perk your head up to study his features. He seems relaxed, eyes closed and a small smile giving away just how happy he is. Before you even notice what you’re doing, you raise your hand to his face, pushing his hair away from his closed eyes, and his smile grows larger. Amazed by how good he looks, you keep going, now tracing the shape of his nose, lips, down his neck and over the black ink of the tattoo on his shoulder.
“I remember you nerds would spend the whole weekend down in our living room playing FIFA when we were young but you’re such a cool guy now… handsome, hot, tattooed….” he opens one of his eyes to glance at you and his hands run slowly down your back, lower and lower… until your curious fingers find the writing on his chest “The Roman numerals are basically self-explanatory…. What is this one?”
His hands come to a halt, then he groans and laughs at the same time, covering his face.
“Oh, God, it’s a mistake.” He sighs and lifts his hands to look at you “I’m gonna tell you but you have to promise you won’t laugh.”
As soon as he says the words, you can't help but do exactly what he told you not to. Seungwoo fakes an angry expression and starts poking at your ribs, making your giggles turn into loud laughter as he keeps tickling you and telling you to not laugh at him. You attempt to wriggle your way out of his attack and end up accidentally elbowing him.
“Ouch!”
“Oh my god! Are you okay?” You bend over him and he nods, still rubbing under his chin where you hit him. “I’m sorry.” removing his hand to press a quick kiss to his face, you bite your lower lip “I promise I’ll try not to laugh, is that enough for you?”
Seungwoo rolls his eyes.
“Whatever.” you prop your chin on his chest and stare at him while he threads his fingers through your hair “It was right after graduation. Do you remember Hanse, from high school?”
You smile.
“Oh, how could I forget, you losers were always in my house being loud and annoying.”
He chuckles, nodding his head.
“Yes, that's him, loud and annoying loser number five. He’s a tattoo artist now, has been since senior year. After graduation, we were all in his room, completely shitfaced, and we thought it’d be a good idea to let him practice on us…”
“Oh my God…” you cover your mouth, trying real hard not to laugh “maybe it’s because I’m sober, but that does not seem like a good idea to me.”
“Tell me about it.” He sighs “It could be worse, though. He just got one word wrong. It was supposed to read don’t lock me up.”
Seungwoo proceeds to explain the actual meaning to you, a very important reminder to not trap his feelings inside him and be more communicative about what goes on in his head, to not carry any burdens alone.
“It’s beautiful.” You reply, brushing your lips against the misspelled word marked on his chest “But perhaps none of you should drink and get tattooed ever again.”
You manage not to laugh too much though and it earns you a sweet peck on the tip of your nose.
“Yeah, you think it’s funny, don’t you? Once you see what Seungsik and Chan got, you’ll love mine.”
“Speaking of which….” you avert his gaze, all too casual, turning around to check the time on your phone “Have you told anyone… the guys or my brother…. especially my brother… about us, you know, hanging out lately?”
You try to be as nonchalant as possible, but he catches the meaning behind your words and frowns: you hope the answer is no.
He clears his throat.
“Um... Right after we met at the restaurant that first time, maybe one or two days later Seungsik told me you were back and I said I already knew because we ran into each other by chance, but that’s all… Why? Are we keeping this” he motions between you and him “a secret?”
It’s not that you don’t want people to know you’re dating Seungwoo - are you even dating? You kissed for the first time only a few hours ago -, you just want to be in control of how and when this piece of information finds your family and friends. Everything’s been happening so fast since you moved back, you didn’t really have time to give this situation the attention it needs. You don’t even understand your feelings yet and you both need to be careful about your next steps. After all, your families have been close for years and this shift in dynamics is, in fact, unexpected, no matter how good it makes you feel.
“Not exactly.” You reply, moving back to drape an arm around his waist “I just want to be the one to break the news to Seungsik, at the right moment, if it’s ok with you.” snuggling closer, you pout “Please?”
He covers his eyes, groaning.
“Don’t be all cute on me now, you know I’m weak and it’s not fair.” realizing it’ll work, you pucker your lips even more, blinking several times until Seungwoo finally gives in “Jesus! Okay, fine, have it your way.”
You squeal a little bit, delighted, and give him a hug.
“You’re the best.”
“And you’re trouble.” he laughs softly, shaking his head “How much time we still got?”
You stick your neck out to check the time again.
“Nearly two hours.” you turn back and smile at him “What do you wanna do?”
Pressing his lips together, Seungwoo stares at the ceiling for a second.
“I don’t know. Aren’t you sleepy?” he asks, after a moment of consideration. You shake your head no, and he lifts one eyebrow, grinning. Before you can even ask what’s on his mind, Seungwoo rolls you onto your back and scoots closer, climbing on top of you. “In this case,” he props himself on his elbows as to not crush you with his weight, his body warm against yours and a mischievous glint in his eyes. With your own firmly closed, you hold your breath when he leans in to press his lips against your neck and then your collarbone, planting open-mouthed kisses down your body and leaving a trail of fire in their wake “I have a great idea.”

My Relationship With Tattoos
Art as we know it comes in any medium. It could be a portrait, a scuplture, a dish, a film or even a fighting style. The canvas and the medium may change, but one thing remains constant. It represents something. One's feelings, identity, code, maybe even culture. Tattoos are not far from this. They are pieces of art etched on a living canvas. Just like any piece of art can be viewed differently by the artist, the wearer as well as the mere spectator. The same perception could also be rooted from a personal interpretation/bias, cultural influence, and etc.
The Philippines, while still attempting to develop have yet to change its view on tattooing. To some, it is in fact seen at an artistic light whereas most view them with negative connotations. Some even view tattooed individuals as nothing but bottom dwellers, drug addicts, criminals, anything synonymous with the word undesirable. We even have a senator that says exactly these words about tattooed individuals, as do most conservative folks. Which is ironic considering that tattoos once played a significant role in the pre-colonial history. It often dsiplayed one's role, accomplishments, clan, and even social status. One of our most well-reputed national artists happen to be Whang-Od. To the uninitiated, she is currently the last living traditional tattoo artist around these parts. She is well sought out by visitors both domestic and foreign. In all sincerity, I'd like to see that senator try and publicly call her a drug addict to her face. Like I said, The Philippines has yet to be anywhere near ready to adapt to a modern society. And with it, more progressive views.

I for one had a neutral stance on them. I should know, I have four of them and have gone through five sessions all in all. But before that, I remember wanting to get one as far as when I was in college and even intending to get two particular pieces. One being WWE Superstar Edge's Rise Above wrist piece and Toryn Green's sinner and saint ambigram. This what happens when you grow up being a fan of hard rock music, professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. Although what kept me from getting tattooed was the fear of being an ineligible blood donor, as well as the fear of being unemployable in the future.
That however changed after I graduated. Turns out, most corporate environments won't even bat an eye at an upper management figure sporting full sleeves and stretched earlobes. Others may not be as lenient. But it hardly impacted how they're received in the company.  I even had a chance to get a session done in 2013 but it kept falling apart.
It didn't cross my mind until 2017 and that's that I finally decided to go for it. I remembered seeing a simple but perfectly symmetrical geometric arrow design. The design was perfect. I also happen to love archery. So I literally had no other issue with it. I later ended up getting referred by my cousin to her artist who did her wrist piece months prior. The three weeks leading up to that session, I let my folks know in advance that I am getting a tattoo. I didn't wait for their approval or anything. I made it clear that I’m getting inked. Furthermore, I’d like to point out that I am a regular subscriber to Aaron Marino’s YouTube Channel (you may know him as Alpha M). I then took some crucial tips regarding tattoos. I had the certainty down as long as I follow one crucial tip. You have a whole sea of skin all over you. So out of all that, just avoid having one on your hands, neck, and face. If you can hide it with a dress shirt, it’s completely fine.
On the day of my appointment, I literally just slapped on a sleeveless Avenged Sevenfold cut-off top, some shorts, with only my phone and wallet in hand before heading out for my session. It happened in a small studio just next to a small school in Pacita. Fortunately, I got there in time and I happened to be his only scheduled client for the day. What happened next was pivotal. I literally watched as the needle first touched my skin and slowly covered my birthmark. The session itself took over five hours. And what turned out to be the final product was an entirely different design. One which was inspired by the concept I sent, but also deviated from it. My parents despite having already been warned in advance were still initially shocked by it. They didn’t think I was actually going ahead with it. So this is the part where I retroactively followed what Jaiden Dittfach (of Jaiden Animations) said when she got her bird Ari. If you want really want something and your parents said no, get it anyway and trick them into loving it. Now that it’s on my skin, there really wasn’t much they could do about it. But at least they know its meaning and that it isn’t anything negative. I did have some issues with the product though and it took three more years before I finally got it fixed. For good this time. At least before the pandemic happened and it was done by a trusted friend. In her defense, she made the best of what she could work with then and even remarked how deep the first needle went. Fortunately, she managed to even out some places that needed to be polished.

Finally fixed.
In between all of this, I also managed to get three more pieces. It was November 12, 2018, a news shocked Marvel fans the world over. Stan Lee tragically passed away just six weeks shy of what would have been his 96th birthday. It was such a devastating loss of a figure who helped mold the childhoods of many. I wrote about it and posted it here shortly after. During those events, I remembered having come across the Wakandan alphabet before it hit me. But first, I had to consult a few friends in order to make sure that I wouldn’t be committing any act of cultural appropriation. After finally clearing that up, I sent my own design to a friend of mine (Who went on to do all of my ink from that point on) and booked the session. Thanksgiving day later came and I realized that we had no work that day. So I later called her up to see if she was free. Fortunately, she was and I finally had it etched on my right forearm. It was the Latin word “Excelsior” that literally translates to ever upward. It was also Stan’s catchphrase. The feeling of getting that piece was a lot more different than the previous one. This came with a wave of emotion. Because the significance could even be traced from my childhood and I grew up around this fandom and it meant more to me than just entertainment. It helped shape part of my identity. It’s literally the one piece I wish I could have flashed on a camera next to Stan himself. One thing’s for sure both Stan Lee and Chadwick Boseman would have thought it was a wise choice for a piece of ink on one’s skin.
Tumblr media
“Excelsior”
- Stan Lee
Upon having gone through a tattoo session, you can only describe the feel of a needle as a sting. But you wouldn’t exactly call it pain. That isn’t an opinion, that is a fact. Another thing one must know upon getting a tattoo is that you will later want additional pieces. Your skin will want the feel of that needle again. And while my parents said that would be my last piece, I simply couldn’t promise that. This time around, I’ve been looking to get a Cthulhu tattoo since December 2018. Of course, being busy as always, I couldn’t find a time to arrange it. I would only do so once I’m sure I’m completely free for that day. I live two lives. Both as a corporate guy and a public figure. Spare time and sleep are luxuries I can’t always afford. And after all the planning, I finally booked it. I literally went to my friend’s place right away to have it done. The session was of reasonable length and it felt different. Both of my previous tattoos were done on my right forearm. Both of which had uplifting personal meanings. A darker piece like that would be completely out of place in that part of my body. So I opted for my left bicep. It was surreal. I’m a man invested into multiple fandoms and H.P. Lovecraft’s universe is definitely in that list. There’s just something about the occult and the unknown horrors of the cosmos that piqued my interest since my formative years. This was me finally marking that on my skin. If there’s one of Lovecraft’s most iconic creations that deserved that spot, it was the famed Dreamer of R’lyeh himself. If the excelsior tattoo gave a rush of innocence that I hadn’t felt in ages, this was different. It had that enigmatic aura around it which made it all the more perfect. The piece came together so well and it was on an arm that a needle had yet to kiss. After the session, you could say I probably found out how the Sam Raimi Peter Parker felt when he first put on the black symbiote suit. Minus the dance when he exited that tailor shop. I also ended up getting a freehand bonus on my right wrist again. Just something Roxy threw in. It was the Latin phrase “Sic Parvis Magna.” which literally translates to “Thus great things come from small things.” or better yet, greatness from small beginnings. Which is another phrase I hold dear considering my humble origins.
Tumblr media
“Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn”
“In his house at R’lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.”
Tumblr media
“Thus great things come from small things.”
That certainly wouldn’t be the end of it. Again, while my folks insisted that I got my last pieces, I still can’t promise that. One thing’s for sure, I wouldn’t get any piece that either stands for something that abridges the rights of another human being, nor would any of my upcoming pieces ever wrongly appropriate a culture. Ultimately, I would always advise everyone to at least take Aaron Marino’s advise to heart. Don’t get one that you wouldn’t want to show your folks. You also have a whole sea of skin around you, so avoid having one on your hands, neck and face. I’m definitely not done stepping next to a needle. I still have plans on some pieces. But I always see to their significance. It’s always wise to do exactly that. Getting a tattoo isn’t a joke. It’s a commitment. One that can even outlive a marriage. So it pays to take every choice into consideration. Some of us choose to wear our hearts on our sleeve and some do so literally.

Daddy Issues [Sunset] -20-
Tumblr media
Pairing: JungKook & Reader Genre: Smut, Fluff, Angst Summary: A top student, marks always high. College was not a dream for her…Except she didn’t have enough money. Her parents never earned much so they literally took care of themselves. Her boss acting like a dick towards her she quit her job. Even though she had no idea what she let herself into this was her only option.
Other Chapters
Tumblr media
When JungKook finally stepped out of the grey building he let the night breeze fill his lungs. He looked up to the clear sky that was bejeweled by bright stars. He could have enjoyed if it were not his problems and bustle of people walking down the pavement. Johan stopped the car by where he stood. JungKook casually took his place in the back seat and his calm yet deep voice filled the air.
“To home...”
He was expecting to have some play time with you but the tattoo artist was already home when he arrived. JungKook was surprised to find you two at the living room. Jin was in a sleeveless black tshirt and ripped jeans. Maid handed him a drink while he was lighting some cigarette. You walked towards JungKook and wrapped your arms around him. The guy checked you two out up to down. He puffed out once and spoke with a rather flat voice.
“You have got a girl, huh?”
JungKook wrapped an arm around you as you were about to turn away from him.
“Yes Jin I do...”
Then JungKook nuzzled your hair for a few seconds. The guy had a mischivous smile on his thin lips.
“Maybe I should give you a couple tattoo...She seems to be the one”
Giving a smirk at JungKook you drifted your eyes away from him.
“A tempting idea...”
His both well shaped eyebrows were up as his questioning eyes trapped yours again.
“Never knew you wanted a tattoo.”
Biting your lip, you allowed your fingers trail down his silky shirt and stopped by his shining black belt. The rough material strained when you hooked your index finger. You pulled it a little and got even closer to him. No space between your and his chest, you whispered.
“I just want a mark. Something that we both always will carry for each other.”
JungKook smiled as he nodded.
“You never fail to surprise me, do you? What do you want to have?”
A thrilling smile reaching your eyes, ligten up your whole delicate face.
“I don’t know, you will pick and I will pick yours.”
JungKook looked into your eyes as with an unclear expression. You wanted to carry a mark he will put on you for the rest of your life. He was not sure if he deserved that trust. He was not sure if he deserved to mark you when the future was so unclear. He sighed for a brief moment.Seeing his jaw clenched and eyes drifted, you thought you have forced him for something he did not want. Your face was hidden behind your silky hair fallen at sides when you looked down in embarrassment.
“Its okay if you don’t want it. I just thought...”
JungKook gently grabbed your chin and lifted your face. His other hand caressed and placed your hair behind your ear.
“I do Y/N...Don’t look down like that. I hate seeing you sad.”
You kept staring into his eyes. You could dig into them for a hunder meters, what you find would only be the truth. With a gentle smile you guided him towards the slim guy whom already got everything ready.
He placed a green dossier on the table. JungKook reached but you grabbed it from his hands quickly. Turning the chair around, you casually threw your hair back on your shoulder while murmuring.
“Do you trust me?”
JungKook seemed confused but he nodded. You went through Jin’s drawings and they all were absolutely gorgeous, though there was something specific you looked for. It was only two pages left and you lost hope to find what you wanted but your eyes finaly landed on it. The bottom left of the page there it stood. It was perfectly drawn and you could just picture it on his upper thigh, below his groin. The symbol of sacred place
You picked the small tattoo because that was what he meant to you. The only man who could make you feel like a queen and a nobody. The only man who could smash your heart into pieces and mend it back. When his arms wrapped around you, time could have stopped and you would never complain.
Your delicate fingers undid his high quality designer tie. Watching your every single move JungKook’s large hand caught yours. You gently pulled your hands away from his grip. Wrapping it around his eyes you tied it half tight.
“We cannot see them until they are done.”
JungKook did not know why he could not control himself at that moment. If someone ever told him a woman could make him do these things he would have just laughed however you got that power. You were his one and only weakness.
JungKook heard your steps and he knew you were standing in front of him. You leaned in and let out a warm breath through his ear. You got down on your knees, hands slowly slide up from his thigh. A proud smile grew on your pink lips as you saw his chest rise and fall. When you pulled his pants down and boxers up all that feeling was hard for him to contain. You travelled your fingers through the place you wanted the tattoo, JungKook whispered.
“Somewhere only you can see...”
As you whispered yes, Jin turned around and coughed when he saw you two. His eyes wandered between JungKook’s exposed leg and your hands before you urged him to start. Jin sighed...
“I wonder what you will pick for her in return because this is ... interesting.”
For the next hour the low and constant buzzing of the needle was almost the only sound in the big living room. Once Jin was done with the outline and first filling, he stopped to take a few minutes break. JungKook was getting impatient and called him back before he could finish his cigarette.
Jin laughed as he passed the huge door of balcony. Taking a big step in his eyes landed on us right away.
“Calm down... Your skin is going to rip off of you...”
JungKook shrugged in a smug manner.
“You know I am fine.”
Jin pushed his perfect blonde hair back as he took his place by the big leather chair that was in the middle of the room. He started the machine again and another hour passed by with faint buzzes.
When Jin showed JungKook the second tattoo you were impressed. The whole world map was placed into a circle with beautiful geometric lines. The lines were joining each other in harmony with small dots. A bolder line encircled the map as if it was in his hands. JungKook got his tattoo by his neck on the left. Jin gently put lotion and wrapped it with his long fingers, finishing up with JungKook.
Relieving the afterward pain, JungKook gently touched his neck and leaned forward to grab Jin’s folder. He went through the pages quickly and stopped at one. His fingers tapped the page twice as Jin rested his hands on the chair and stared down. His lips curled up for a big smile and he nodded.
“I knew I was right...”
What JungKook picked for you was an Umalome... With a delicate lotus placed in the middle of crescent moon. Umalome represented how you brought him strength and healed his soul...The moon was for your mysterious charms that captivated him. Lotus was his rebirth after meeting you.
JungKook handed the folder to Jin and grabbed you by the wrist and pulled you down to his lap. He hooked his fingers to the edge of your sweatpants. JungKook pulled it down a little bit along with your panties. His hot breath washed your neck. His index finger made a small trail around your sacrum.
“Here”
His whisper sent shivers down your spine. Jin gently put the drawing for trace and you blushed as his fingers travelled there. Jin urged you to stand up but JungKook wrapped an arm around your belly.
“Carry on... We will stay like this.”
His eyes almost twice their size, Jin could not hide his shock. He only could whisper an alright before he started the machine again. With the needle pricking your skin constantly you were kind of tense. Caressing your back and talking randomly, JungKook took care of you. With your eyes closed you let his deep and soft voice fill your ear and his fresh smell fill your nose.
When Jin was finished with your tattoo he was going to patch you and pull your sweats up but JungKook stopped him. His large fingers gently wrapped the tattoo and slowly pulled your clothes up.Blinking twice, Jin tried to mask the awkwardness. JungKook had a smug smirk on his lips.
“Thanks...I am sure you did a perfect job.”
Jin smiled gently.
“Its you...Of course I would.”
JungKook paid back a similar smile. The pain still perceivable you moved slowly. JungKook gently grabbed you by your legs and stood up. He let your feet on the ground but his strong arm was still wrapped around you. You shook hands with Jin and smiled at him.
“Thanks... You must be tired though...”
Almost affraid to talk to you he shrugged. Wondered if Jungkook warned him beforehand or he just kept his distance at his own will.
“You are tight lipped but still not even a word about our tattoos, okay?”
Jin smiled as he nodded.
“Don’t worry about it.”
Jin stood by the open door that the maid held. He turned around and said
“No matter what... Do not lose each other.”
With that sentence lingering in the air, he left. JungKook stared at you as he licked his lips. Pulling you closer he put on that mischivous grin.
“Since we cannot open these patches tonight... You will have to tell me what you...”
Your index finger slightly touched his lips.
“Do not make an effort sir, my mouth is sealed.”
With an arched eyebrow JungKook spoke with that deep and sweet venom voice.
“It seems someone wants to be punished... and my palm is itching”
You took a step back but hardly could proceed what was going on. JungKook turned you around. His large hand on your hair, he bent you over. Your blood rushed in your veins and breath got heavier. His hand travelled around your ass and you expected him to pull your sweats down in excitement. Though, JungKook stopped after his tease to let you go. When you turned around, the confused expression on your face was amusing to JungKook.
“After you healed...”
He whispered. Hand in hand you slowly walked upstairs to the bedroom. Having you between his arms, JungKook still felt restless. He did not feel good about that dinner at all. JungKook needed a good plan that noone would suspect him. Denying the dinner would be way too obvious. He had to be there and make YoonHae feel how much he hated every second of it.
You opened your eyes with the morning light leaking by the window. JungKook was still asleep while his arms were trapping you. You allowed your fingers fearlessly wander in his soft hair. He sighed in peace which made you smile. He seemed younger and innocent.
The remaining of the pain in your back reminded you the mark that will stay with you for life You sneaked out of his arms, trying not to wake JungKook up. Feet slowly touching the ground you, looked back at JungKook to check on him. Walking to the huge mirror, you pulled the white silk gown up. The bottom of the patch was slightly covered by the lace. You pulled the underwear down a little bit and reached out to take it off. However JungKook’s hand caught yours in the air.
“Being a sneaky little thing, aren’t you?”
The way you looked down and bit your lip was cute yet sexy. JungKook took off the patch for you and held his hand out. He turned you around so you could see it more clearly. The beauty of the tattoo mesmerized you.You were not that wise on tattoos yet you knew this and that. The meaning behind each figure was more than you imagined. You wanted to say something but whatever came across your mind did not seem enough. You hugged him and rested your head to his chest.
“Can we stay like this a little bit?”
JungKook nodded as he had the sweetest smile on his lips you could not see. He enjoyed the flowery and vanilla smell radiated from you. Then you took a step back. Reaching for his patch, you took it off slowly. When he saw the tattoo JungKook was overwhelmed. He was far from to be called home by you yet a sacred place... He wanted to give you everything he could but he just could not do it yet. He pulled you in and gave you a warm, daring kiss like he never did before. You took a step away. To break the awkward and heavy silence you asked a simple question.
“Do you want coffee?”
JungKook sighed.
“Yes...I will work overtime tonight.”
A sweet morning breakfast and fresh coffee that you prepared, made the day better that JungKook knew would be tiring. Wish he did not have to hide what you have but he had to, until he took care of the matters in the way.
KyungRi grabbed Jimin by his jacket and pulled him in. Her long fingers were on his face as she went for a kiss. Jimin enjoyed her lips for a while after he closed the door behind. Sloppily getting rid of his jacket and let it fall to the ground KyungRi leaded Jimin to her bedroom. Her body fell to the bed and Jimin crawled on top of her. Pushing her clothes up to her stomach, he went for what he came to do.
The night was amazing and one of the bests for KyungRi yet Jimin did not stay again. In fact he did not even give her a proper goodbye or told her that he would see her again. KyungRi began to think she was being used by him. She stopped Jimin on his track, wrapping her arms around him. She rested her head on his chest. Jimin waited a little and excused himself.
It was after lunch break at work when she heard Father Jeon and JungKook talking about a family dinner with Kwon’s. Sensing the juicy news she called Jimin right away to meet. Fixing her top and make up in the ladies room she left the building. Grabbing a taxi on the way she gave the directions.Jimin was already there. He paid the exchange in cash and sent the taxi away. The money he handed was definetly more than necessary but she did not care.
KyungRi sat down the chair herself pulled. The small black square table allowed them to eat and talk quietly. Jimin took off his ray-bans as he heard the news.
“Family dinner with Kwon’s?”
KyungRi took another bite from her fresh salad as she indifferently nodded.
“Yes...”
Jimin pinched the bridge of his nose as he sighed.
“Damn it...”
All his appetite was lost. In fact, all their effort not only went waste, they worked the opposite. The things sped up so they will have to find another way. Putting his glasses back on and grabbing his phone from the table Jimin stood up.
“I have to go.”
KyungRi pursed her lips.
“Are you leaving me alone here?”
Jimin spoke with a rather flat tone.
“I have things to do.”
KyungRi stood up with her hand still rested on the table.
“Really Jimin? Things to do...with her ! “
Jimin rolled his eyes within annoyance.
“Come on we already passed that.”
“Did we? Tell me...When will you break up with JiHyo?”
Jimin furrowed his eyebrows and his voice was distant.
“Never promised you, did I?”
KyungRi took a step back, she was in the verge of breaking down.
“Jimin... I do everything for you. Tell me whats not enough?”
Jimin rolled his eyes as he fixed his broke her grip.
“KyungRi are you really going to dwell on this?”
She snapped.
“Yes Jimin. I am tired of being in the shadows and these secret meetings.”
Jimin just got colder yet a smile took place on his lips.
“Little princess... You are asking for more than I can offer.”
After those heavy words Jimin walked out by the door casually. The tears she fought until then were set free. KyungRi wiped them away with her manicured fingers and took a deep breath. She tried to keep a poker face though she broke down as soon as she stepped into the elevator in the company’s building.
TaeHyung knocked on the door of the old flat. Your sister opened and invited him in. She did not seem surprised at all because he has been here countless times. TaeHyung greeted your father and mother with a sweet smile. His eyes wandered around the living room.
“Is Y/N not here?”
Seeing those awkward expression after the question, TaeHyung realized you never came home. Assuming he knew something your mother asked kindly.
“Was she supposed to visit us?”
The anger filled TaeHyung’s bones but he had to keep his cool. He wanted to tell them everything but could not bring himself to do it. Even if he was fairly angry TaeHyung still cared about you. He shrugged.
“Ahhh she was planning to visit but got caught with lessons I guess...”
Not suspecting anything your mother smiled fondly.
“She studies hard, doesn’t she?”
TaeHyung did with a simple nod. Your father offered him to stay for dinner. TaeHyung moved uncomfortably in his seat.
“I would not want to burden you with that, really...”
Your father laughed at how awkward he seemed though he knew TaeHyung well and always thought he was nice. Your family insisted so he had to stay for dinner.
The following morning TaeHyung pulled up his one and only black suit. Dressed up well he checked his looks in the old cheval glass. Decided he looked decent, TaeHyung left his tiny flat.
Arrived at the company, TaeHyung walked in. He knew where JungKook’s room was so he made his way to the elevator. TaeHyung stopped in front of the big door. Without hesitation, his long fingers reached for the silver knob. JungKook was suited in a navy blue jacket and a classic white shirt. His blue tie completed the look. JungKook was switching through the papers but his eyes finally met TaeHyung and he left the papers down.
“What are you doing here?”
His cold voice and gaze irritated TaeHyung even more.
“Y/N was supposed to be home...”
JungKook arched an eyebrow.
“She chose to stay with me. Is there a problem with that?”
TaeHyung walked towards him and slammed his hand on the table.
“Yes... You told me you would leave her alone.”
JungKook’s eyes were darker and his voice was dangerously low.
“I did... And if she would have chosen you I was going to keep myself away...Just because I saw how much you cared about her. I suggest you do the same and respect her decision.”
TaeHyung’s pupils were dilated as JungKook caught him off guard. His honesty was too heavy to be denied. The worst part was JungKook being right about you. TaeHyung held you in depth of his heart and watched you dearly from a far. Somehow you ended up in the hands of a rich bastard who believed he was in love with you.
Without a word TaeHyung left the room. Tears welled up in his eyes he sweeped down the hallway. Rubbing them he tried to sent those drops back. As he took the elevator, it stopped halfway. Trying to fix his look TaeHyung looked down. A well dressed woman walked in and by the sniffing sound TaeHyung could tell she was crying too.
“Are you okay?”
TaeHyung asked while half stuttering the sentence. She looked up and shook her head.
“Wish I could say I was...”
The blood rushed in TaeHyung’s veins.
“Sounds like a broken heart...”
The girl only nodded. The air was heavy in the small place they were stuck for the while.
“Believe me I know about that... Would you like to go somewhere to... to breathe?”
The second those words left his mouth TaeHyung was surprised at himself. Unlocking her arms the girl seemed interested. She smiled... The elevator stopped and the bip sound echoed.
“KyungRi”
The girl said and went on...
“Lead the way...”
He smiled and held his hand out...
“TaeHyung...”
Your phone rang and you moved from your comfortable seat. Reaching out you answered without checking who was calling. However you knew that voice damn well.
“Jimin”
Your eyebrows were knitted together as his name fell from your lips like drops of ice. Though Jimin was surely having fun.
“I guess JungKook is going to be late tonight...”
You answered in the most indifferent and flat tone you could.
“I know...”
Even if you played, Jimin did not buy it at all. He knew you were hooked so he did not hesitate to take his time.
“Ahhh... So you are okay with him having a dinner with YoonHae and her family.”
You just could not keep your composure anymore.  Your voice was nothing more than a mere whisper as you asked.
“What?”
A smirk took place on his lips as Jimin got you exactly where he needed.
“Thought so... I will send you the location in case you want to see it yourself.”
Jimin did not wait for any response from you and cut the line. On your feet now you walked around the the room while your gown dancing on your body. Within a few seconds your phone buzzed in your hands. Stood still you did not open the text at first.
A part of you trusted JungKook no matter what but suspicion was around your head like a grey cloud. Why would JungKook lie to you that he would work? Why have you never heard of YoonHae before? Family dinner sounded serious and you did not like a specific girl being mentioned at all. You needed answers.
You picked up a rose gold dress that complimented your skin. You just used two boby pins to tame your hair. You sat down by the big mirror that you were used to. Except it was in JungKook’s room now. Pulling the drawer you got a few things that were enough for a simple yet nice make up. The copperish designer stilettos completed your look.
Grabbing your purse and his silver Audi A7′s keys, you walked out. If whats said on the phone was true, you should have seen it yourself. Chewing your lip between your teeth, you prayed it would not be true. Heart pounding like crazy in your chest, you tried to focus on the lightened highway.
You stopped the car by the front gate. The black iron was embroidered with utmost care. The white flowers were in great harmony with twists. A tall vale in brown uniform appeared out of nowhere. Telling him you would not need his service you followed the stone path to the main door.
The soft lights leaked by the door. Your heels made faint sounds on natural marble floor. The tables were well dressed in a matching colored fabric. Your eyes searched the big area the finally landed on them. On the corner by the fountain, two families sat. YoonHae that was mentioned to you was sitting right by JungKook’s side.
In the natural flow of their conversation she locked arms with JungKook for a brief moment. They all raised glasses and she smiled. The ache in your heart was stuck like a knife. JungKook lied... Not only lied... He lied because of another woman. A woman that his family accepted and cherished like they never would do for you.
The moments from yesterday felt so real but why they seemed far away. Were you stupid to think you would have a future with JungKook. You could not stop the tears as they got your cheeks wet. Hardly able to command your own body you left the building.
