languidlimbo asked: it's ever so sad i missed that ray of light beaming through. too busy talking most likely. "childlike i danced in a dream / blessings emblazoned that day / everything glowed with a gleam / yet we were looking away" that last line applied to me and that beam of light. perhaps i'll find beauty in my own way, elsewhere?
Answer:
Baby girl, you find beauty everywhere. It’s one of the most wonderful things about you.

Fair enough, I just wanted to say that there are times when Korra makes me grown more than any FF game has. Course I haven’t touched the franchise since VIII or thereabouts…
Buddy you need to meet Tidus, Rikku, Yuna, Wakka, Snow, and Vanille among others.

But shipping… seriously, it almost kills the show for me.
Oh the shipnanigans definitely drag the show down.
Again, I'm not saying that the series is flawless or that there aren't points that are a chore.
I'm just saying comparing something to FFXIII is really extreme.

A lesson in the power of a spark and a few small questions
I have always paid politics no mind because I have always had trouble retaining whatever war was going on at the time. I am not ashamed, I must have asked mom to explain the Iraqi war more times than I can even count. I just could not retain it. I would literally forget, unintentionally of course, within hours or days.
But this. This, I said to myself, by God, I am going to understand it SO HELP ME. I asked people over and over what it [Senate Bill 106] was.
I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by people with infinite amounts of patience.
Now I took photographs of a vigil held in Greensboro, North Carolina, for my school's newspaper AND wrote a mini-article on the passing :( of the bill to accompany the photos.
Five days ago, I thought I would never understand it. I thought no way could I do phone banking. How could I explain to someone if I didn't even understand. But slowly, surely and with an abundant amount of patience from many, I did just that. I even enjoyed it.
The bill was passed with a 75-42 vote in The House and 30-16 in The Senate.
But, there is still hope.

am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us."
