After referring to Ryan Graves as a "hulking defenseman," he proceeded with this:

(Graves is) listed at 6-foot-5 but he looks even bigger. (Kris) Letang, his defense partner in today’s scrimmage and his presumed partner for the start of the season, even commented that he wasn’t aware Graves was “that big.”

(Evgeni) Malkin is now aware. He was going to work against Graves during the scrimmage and decided to swing wide behind the net. Malkin then deployed one of his patented moves, shifting into skating backward behind the net in an attempt to bring the puck to the far side of the cage. Graves was having none of it, using his reach to easily pick Malkin’s pocket.

Here is some Buckley-Diaz family time from NFL Buck!

When the quarterback is just a few lengths away, Eddie leans down and quietly tells his son, “Remember mijo, he’s Evan not Buck here.” Christopher glares back at him. He may have forgiven Eddie after his apology for his overreaction with his fire crew before reminding his father and Buck that he wasn’t the same little boy that needed to be lied to about Buck’s job. Even apologized himself for the bragging and agreed to the hospital visit with Maddie. But from then on, he hated any sort of reminder of the appearances that needed to be kept up outside their home. “I know.” He grinds out then turns forward, jersey in hand. Buck takes those last few inches forward, putting himself right in front of Christopher and the smile that he’d been gracing since leaving the field, brightened even further. “Hey there kid!” He greets with a subtle wink. Christopher snickers, ignoring the ‘kid’ remark, always elated to see his best friend. He holds out the jersey, “Hi Evan.” He emphasizes and Eddie bites his bottom lip, stopping himself from snapping about Chris’s attitude, “I’m new to L.A. too.” Buck doesn’t show a single outward reaction at the teens statement, but Eddie knows him too well. He catches the quirk of his eyebrow indicating he’s caught on to Chris’s slight brashness, “Well glad to know I’m not the only new guy in town. You liking it so far?” Buck fires back, trying to gauge Christopher’s emotional state. The teen boy shrugs, “So far, but it’s nice that you’re here too, makes things a little easier.” Evan melts at that and Eddie does as well. Attitude forgiven. They’re all missing each other, and they’ll need to have a true family talk, not just a Facetime meeting, but for this short moment they’re together. Reaching out Eddie squeezes his son’s shoulder in comfort. Buck catches the movement and peers up at the father under his lashes, blue eyes shimmering, “Well I’m happy you all are here too.” He murmurs and Eddie knows he means that with his whole heart.

Teenage attitude mixed with family secrets and so much love. Hope you enjoyed!

Atsumu and Sakusa became friends one night in the training camp when Sakusa's room is invaded by a cockroach.

It was at night, so Sakusa couldn't wake up everyone to tell them there was a cockroach. But he was too afraid to exterminate it. So he wandered around the hall, hoping the roach would crawl back to wherever it spawned from on his own.

Meanwhile, Atsumu is an insomniac. He finished FaceTiming his brother. Osamu had to sleep. Atsumu saw Sakusa wandering in the hall, and thought of inviting him over.

"Omi-kun, whaddya doing outside the dorm?"

"None of your business, Miya."

"What? A roach invaded your room?"

"..."

"Knew it. Come in. I'm bored too."

Atsumu lit a candle in the middle of the room. No one knew what to talk about. Time passed painfully.

"So Omi, why do ya like volleyball?"

And the talking started from there. They talked about volleyball, their hopes and dreams, the ambiguity of graduating and stepping into the world with no knowledge of the dangers that lay beyond it. About families, Atsumu knows Sakusa has a brother and a sister who had formed their own families, and Atsumu has a twin, Osamu, who has a boyfriend, Suna. Atsumu wondered how being alone feels like, how not having someone by your side at home and school feels like. And Sakusa wondered too, how having someone next to you feels like, how having a friend, a soulmate, feels like.

They talked till it's 3, and that's when Atsumu became sleepy and stopped talking, blowing out the candle. Sakusa had to go back even though he doesn't want to - he cannot bother Atsumu that much.

Atsumu, inside his blanket, reached his one arm out and held Sakusa's hand as he walked out the door:

"Stay."

"But I can't sleep in your room."

"I insist. I can't sleep without someone else in here."

Atsumu had been struggling with sleep for a long time without his brother, or anyone, sleeping in the room with him. He had to FaceTime Osamu to relieve it, and even talk to Omi, but none relieved this eerie lonely feeling.

"But where will I sleep?"

"On the bed. I think it's big enough for both of us." Atsumu whipped out another pillow and blanket for Sakusa to use. Sakusa did not remember receiving this much blankets and pillows in his dorm room.

"...Alright." Omi needed sleep, and he didn't think the roach would be out of his room soon.

The next day, Omi had to get out of the blankets wrapping him and Atsumu in all places. Atsumu drooled. Omi hated people who drools. Atsumu had 4 pillows surrounding him, each for his arm and leg. He's lying on his stomach, and his phone was lost beneath one of the many pillows he hugged. Unlike Sakusa's phone, where he kept it neatly along his one pillow. He checked the time. It said 6:15, which meant he could sleep some more since everyone wouldn't be up till 6:30. Being up all night was killing him.

"Hey."

The camp coordinator hovered over their heads, waking both Sakusa and Atsumu up. Sakusa's legs are tangled with Atsumu's arms and Sakusa's blanket with Atsumu's pillows., and both couldn't know where the boundaries between the two lie on the bed.

"It's 7:15, lovebirds. We've been waiting in the cafeteria."

Lovebirds?

Sakusa did not know why he covered his face. Atsumu buried his face into the pillow.

Meanwhile, at Sakusa's room, Hoshiumi Kourai was assigned the task of finding Sakusa, while the camp coordinator found Atsumu.

Hoshiumi opened the door, and a flying roach sped through and over his head, may or may not touching his bird-feather-hair.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH"
