J for OC alphabet!!!

Jay Auron! My cowboy Demigod. He's one of my older characters (in terms of real life time) so he's got his fair share of lore. I'll just list his life story chronologically under the cut.

He doesn't remember anything from before he was 16 due to a complicated plot involving his deity parents being forced to divorce because of another deity, but what he was told after he woke up is that a loud bang was heard in the forest near a town, and when the townsfolk went to check it out they found this random unconscious teenager. When he woke up he didn't remember anything aside from his first name (Jay) and the basic being-a-person skills you learn as an infant. He was adopted by a family with a daughter the same age as him (Mika) who he quickly became friends with. He studied together with Mika and struggled in every subject except magic, which he excelled at to a suspicious degree. Rumors began swirling that he wasn't quite Human, and he was run out of town at 18 mainly by Mika.

After walking aimlessly for a while he came across a mystery cave that was tempting him to come in, and he went in (Note: don't do this in real life). At the end of the cave was a pool of water that felt secure enough to sleep next to, and since he was tired, he did. When he woke up there was a mystery lady (Aero) who looked kinda like him but before they could greet each other another mystery lady appeared, this time the God of Magic (Amiaru), and introduced herself as their mom and told them they were twins. She wasn't able to explain the missing memories they both had for reasons she also wasn't able to explain, but gave them the spell to teleport to her house.

Around 2,000 years later (he's got God blood due to his heritage, which makes you not age past adulthood as well as be unable to kill unless you're really trying) when he's living in Xierala he meets and marries an assassin lady (Evelyn) and they have a kid together (Ari), both of whom end up getting killed by another Demigod (Reaper) who's really tied up in the whole forced divorce shenanigans. Jay swears Reaper is one of the kids of Tykrin, the God of Shadows (he's not) because Tykrin was really up to meddling in mortals' business around this time. When the Emperor of Xierala goes missing Jay teams up with his son (Noro) on a rescue/revenge mission to the Void, where Tykrin lives and rules over. It's rather unsuccessful as Jay finds out Reaper's God parent is also Amiaru and Noro finds out his dad is dead, but at least they (Jay and Noro) become friends.

There's a period of about 10,000 years here where he doesn't do anything lore-relevant but I have his job listed as "bounty hunter" so maybe that. Eventually he finally meets his dad because the forced divorce plot was busted and re-alives Ari through unspecified shenanigans.
