🇮🇹 Qualche post fa ho parlato dei passerotti che ormai sono diventati frequentatori abituali del mio terrazzo (grazie al mangime specifico che lascio loro). Sono qui tutti i giorni, ne conto sempre 7-8 (inizialmente erano solo 3-4). Fanno sempre casino (disseminano il mangime ovunque e uno è pure entrato per sbaglio nella mia camera xD) ma sono troppo bellini <3 Sono contenti e, soprattutto, sono liberi e non chiusi in una triste gabbia!! Ho fatto qualche foto a distanza. Sto già pensando a come "costruire" una sorta di riparo per il prossimo autunno/inverno... --- 🇬🇧 A few posts ago I talked about the sparrows who have now become regular visitors to my terrace (thanks to the specific feed I leave them). They are here every day, I always count 7-8 (initially it was only 3-4). They always mess up (they spread feed everywhere and one even entered my room by mistake xD) but they are too cute <3 They are happy and, above all, they are free and not locked in a sad cage!! I tried to take some pics from a distance. I’m already thinking about how to “build” a sort of shelter for next fall/winter...

🇮🇹 Mi sono fatta dei nuovi amici xD Nei giorni scorsi ho iniziato a lasciare un pò di cibo per i passerotti che ogni tanto mi fanno visita sul terrazzo. Non li ho visti tornare fino a ieri pomeriggio. Ero sul letto a leggere (il mio letto si trova vicino alla portafinestra che dà sul terrazzo) quando mi sono accorta che c’erano tre uccellini intenti a beccare nella ciotola che avevo lasciato. Hanno fatto avanti e indietro per tutto il pomeriggio. E’ stato troppo bello vederli e sapere che potevo farli felici con poco (nella ciotola avevo sbriciolato un biscotto, una fetta biscottata e del pane, non sapendo cosa preferissero), ho pensato che forse tra loro c’era anche una mamma, con i piccoli che aspettavano in qualche nido. Proprio un paio di settimane fa, purtroppo, avevo trovato sul terrazzo un piccolino morto. Non aveva nemmeno le piume. Non sapete quanto mi è dispiaciuto. (L’ho seppellito in un vaso perchè non sopportavo l’idea di “buttarlo” come fosse spazzatura.) Ebbene, questa mattina al mio risveglio la ciotola era vuota, avevano mangiato tutto. L’ho riempita di nuovo (ho lasciato anche dell’acqua) e in tarda mattinata sono tornati. Credo che oggi pomeriggio, se non piove (si sta un pò annuvolando) faranno di nuovo avanti e indietro. Due li ho visti anche “litigare”: uno cercava di allontanare l’altro xD Nei prossimi giorni vedrò se riesco a fare una foto o un piccolo video :) --- 🇬🇧 I’ve made some new friends xD In recent days I’ve started leaving some food for the sparrows that occasionally visit me on the terrace. I didn’t see them return until yesterday afternoon. I was on my bed reading (my bed is near the French window that opens onto the terrace) when I realized that there were three little birds intent on pecking in the bowl I had left. They’ve been back and forth all afternoon. It was too nice to see them and know that I could make them happy with very little (I had crumbled a biscuit, a rusk and some bread into the bowl, not knowing what they preferred), I thought that perhaps there was also a mother among them, with little ones waiting in some nest. Just a couple of weeks ago, unfortunately, I found a dead little one on the terrace. He didn’t even have feathers. You don’t know how sorry I am. (I buried it in a plant pot because I couldn’t bear the thought of throwing it away like garbage.) Well, this morning when I woke up the bowl was empty, they had eaten everything. I filled it again (I also left some water) and in the late morning they came back :D I think that this afternoon, if it doesn’t rain (it’s a bit cloudy) they will go back and forth again. I also saw two of them “arguing”: one was trying to keep the other away xD In the next few days I’ll see if I can take a picture or a little video :)
