unfortunately i don't have a playlist for Valentina :( i don't even really have a playlist for blood choke at all. the one i've linked previously was originally made for my novel, which is why it has a such a folksy sound because it takes place in southern appalachia, versus blood choke which takes place in a near future cyberpunk cityscape...

i do want to make a blood choke playlist eventually, i'm just really bad at it hahaha. however Valentina is very similar to one of the characters from my novel because they both evolved from the same character waayyy back. and since i do listen to that playlist a lot i do associate a few of the songs with her so now i'm going to be obnoxious and talk about them.

感情生活 by faye wong. i can't really list any lyrics here because the translations are all pretty horrendous but the vibes of this song feel very Valentina to me. i've seen the title translated as both emotional life and love life and i'm not sure which one is more "correct."

running up that hill by kate bush - this one could go either way, from Valentina's or mc's point of view, about the 100 years they lost.
