It's high time for an updated view of the neighbourhood as I've added a few lots since the last time a few rounds ago.

There will still be a bit more expansion in Round 11, as I have plans to build a cemetery (now that we have need of one 😢) on the road leading off to the left as well as another town-owned rental lot - provided there are sufficient town funds available - and I will of course be adding a University.

🌞Round 6 - Summer 2 (Part 1) - Summary🌞

I thought it was probably time for an updated view of the neighbourhood. The Hudsons’ expanded farm is at the top of the picture, with the school next door. I did want to place the school more centrally but the game’s finicky lot placement system wouldn’t let me.

The rest of our families live in the main part of town - from left to right and top to bottom we have the Hansen-Wiggins family, the Neetors, the O’Donnells, the Grimsbanes, the Phillips brothers, and the Rossellinis. The O’Donnells’ old house is next to the Rossellinis and the house next to the Phillips brothers has been unoccupied since the start.

The Fire Department is across the road from the O’Donnells’ yellow house, and the playground and park are across the road from that.

Finally, the ‘business district’ is at the bottom right. This is where everyone’s market stalls or shops are.

Right at the end of the round, Tegan decided she was feeling left out of all of the love exploding all around her. She asked the matchmaker to come over, going so far as to ask the checkpoint to grant her a temporary exemption to come onto the base.

She gave Dorothea all the money she had saved up since moving into Wildflats Peninsula - §1100 - to find her a good blind date, but Dorothea wasn't overly impressed with the amount.

Tegan met her date, Eric Barr, at the park in Wildflats proper. They had one bolt of chemistry, which wasn't terrible, but their date floundered as neither of them could find a topic to talk about and they stopped rolling wants related to each other.

Never mind - better luck next time, Tegan!

The round came to an end that night and I didn't take a family photo as they're not really a family.

At the end of the round, Vance is 28, Tegan is 27, Marco is 25, Daisy is 23 and Parker is 23.

I've decided to start a Simblr of my own, as I follow so many and I wanted somewhere to share my own creations.

I mostly tell stories and occasionally do 4t2 default replacements, but I'm a beginner and still learning (both how to default replace and how to use Tumblr!) so I won't be taking requests. However, I'm open to WCIFs as I'm always happy to give credit where it's due.

Speaking of which, a special thank you to @keoni-chan whose BACC was a huge inspiration and probably the main reason I started this blog!

The following day, Iris got out her grimoire and studied it, hoping to learn some new spells which could potentially help the town in the event of an emergency. She picked up Exflammo which could extinguish fires, but didn't think it would be much good now that they had a fire department unless she happened to be the first on the scene of a fire.

Frost was in his bedroom studying his grimoire as well. He started by studying some neutral magics but soon decided to delve into some of the darker arts. After all, no one was watching and they were just so much fun...

Later on, he went out to relax with his sister on the couch.

"So are we going to talk about the elephant in the room?" asked Nimue.

"What do you mean?"

Nimue grinned. "I heard you sneaking out last night. I was up because I needed the loo. Where did you go? If you don't tell me then I'll tell Mum!"

Frost rolled his eyes. "I have no idea what you're talking about. And if you make up lies to Mum about me, I'll use my magic to set you on fire."

Nimue's jaw dropped. "You... you can't do that! And you wouldn't. Would you? I'm your sister!"

Frost raised an eyebrow. "Want to call my bluff?"

Nimue went silent.

And so the round came to an end the next morning just as the sun was rising at the start of a new week and a new season.

Iris is now 34, Frost is 15 and Nimue is 12. They haven't unlocked anything and that is the end of Round 6 for Wildflats Peninsula!

Later that evening, Bethany invited Hob'rth over again and, feeling like the moment was right, got down on one knee and proposed to him.

Luckily for her, he had already decided that he wanted to marry her and said yes! They celebrated with a hug.

"Will you move in straight away?" Bethany asked.

Hob'rth smiled and nodded. "I'll just go and gather my things from my house and I'll be right back. I'm so excited!"

And as the first Spring in Wildflats Peninsula came to an end, Hob'rth moved into the Turner household. He brought a minuscule amount of money, his flower arranging table, and his clothes. Welcome to the family, Hob'rth! He is still 26 and the twins are both 28.

That concludes Round 1! A few new relationships, engagements and businesses, but no nooboos yet. Hopefully that will happen next round! Next up: a summary of the round!
