Little Muse Facts
1) What does your muse smell like? Metal, blood, dirt, flowers, leather
2) How often does your muse bathe/shower? A minimum of three days between bathing, if she can, even if the bath includes swimming around a lake or stream for a little bit. When she’s in a town or city, then it’s usually every other day.
3) Does your muse have any tattoos or piercings? She has both of her ears pierced, 2 in the lobe and 1 cartilage on both ears, as well as her left eyebrow pierced and her nose (she has had to have her piercing re-pierced multiple times).
4) Any body movement quirks (e.g. tapping heel, shaking knee)?  She bites her fingers at times, not just her nails, but actual fingertips. She has a tendency of swaying and fiddling with her fingers too, usually if she’s bored or anxious.
5) What do they sleep in?  On the road, she sleeps in whatever she’s wearing and wraps up in her cloak when it’s cold. If she’s staying in one of her hide-aways then she usually sleeps in very little, and if she’s sleeping in a city or one of her families homes, then she sleeps in a light purple nightgown or a sleep shirt and loose pants.
6) What’s their favorite piece of clothing? (Oof, not gonna lie, this was hard to figure out, but it says clothing so that made it easier) She has a couple for different occasions. Her travelling cloak, for one, it’s been patched a few more times then she’d probably admit. A dress that was gifted to her during her time in Numenor by an elven friend (not sure which one yet), it changes from darker blue fabric at the top to a sea-foam green to dark green at the bottom. And her tunic with the symbol of Orome branded onto it.
7) What do they do when they wake up? Stretches, then usually cleans herself and does her hair before taking a few minutes to either write or simply let her mind wake up more.
8) How do they sleep? Position? She sleeps on her stomach when she’s in a city/her homes/her families homes, but she usually sleeps sitting up or on her back when she’s travelling.
9) What do their hands feel like?  Her hands are fairly callous and scarred from fighting and work.
Instructions: Fill out the questions about your muse, repost don’t reblog, and tag as many people as you want.

This just in, Kayden is a Hufflepuff with a Slytherin side and feels emotion more deeply than most people think at first/is an empath. It's part if the reason why she likes to be alone, she can get overwhelmed by flood of other people's emotions even if they weren't talking about them ~ Boo

Because of the fact that Kayden is a ¼ Maia, she has memories from Valinor. They aren’t really clear memories, but she knows many of the important events that happened and she tried incredibly hard to forget it. She especially hated the strange memories when she was younger and wanted to know why she was having them, until her mother told her. A a partial Maia, Kayden technically “lived” in Valinor and has in the Timeless halls since the beginning of time. However, she was never in a body until after she was born. The reason behind this is, because her grandfather is one of Orome’s hunters, Kayden “lived” in Valinor as a fox or a raven, one that was always at Orome, Namo, or Nienna’s side (though she did also like to spend time with Yavanna, Este, and Lorien).

Thoughts on Kaydens Background: Kayden has a pretty big family and they have spread themselves all over Arda, so they look different from each other (ethnicity-wise) and have different accents and such. Their family reunions are very interesting because they are all so different but they usually manage to all blend together easily without much fighting (though brawls have happened before and Kayden has participated in some of them). An entertaining thing to see during these times, is the variety in size and shapes amoung them.
For instance: Kayden is 6′2-6′5ft, and towers over some of her cousins who are around 5′4-5′8ft. On the other hand, compared to her uncle (on her mothers side) she has to look up to meet his eye because he’s 7′2-7′6ft.
Just, the diversity is insane and very entertaining

domestic headcanon - wanderer and kay! :D
(I love these two)
They have porch swing type things at most of their homes, mainly because Kay insisted on getting some, and whenever it rains they’ll go out and let the breeze move the swing as they cuddle and watch the storm go over them. Sometimes they just sit there in silence, sometimes they plan on their next journey, and other times they whisper gentle, loving words to each other.

1.
1. Describe your perfect date: time, place, what you’re doing, where you’re going.
“I think I have two different versions of a perfect date actually. One would be staying at home, hopefully for the evening though I wouldn’t be opposed to earlier times. Relaxing about, learning more about each other, playing games, and cooking would be nice. Otherwise, going for a walk through a forested path in the evening and stopping at the edge of a lake to watch the sunset with a picnic, and maybe a hammock would be equally enjoyable.”

Kayden is absolutely someone who would carry on doing whatever she need or wanted to do, regardless of being poisoned, having her stomach ripped open or any kind of large blood loss inducing injures, and even broken bones. That being said, if she sees one of her friends hurt, even with small injuries, she will immediately get herbs to heal them and/or stop any infections. She has a hard time determining the level of damage that should put her in a healing house, specifically in the First Age. She’s much better in the Third Age, but she will still go hunting after part of her leg has been torn off and she’s slapped a couple bandages over the wound.
In the Fall of the Vanguard verse, all of this comes to be after she has died during the Fall of Numenor. In her main verse, this came to be because she was reckless child and was injured often as a child, so she is simply used to being constant while she continues doing whatever she wanted or needed to do.

Non-Verbal expressions of Excitement?
(ooc):
Kayden usually shows excitement by smiling in certain ways (often a mischievous/beaming smile) and by tapping one of her feet and/or bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet slightly. She sometimes will sway/move her hips like one would when dancing too.

Kayden has never had a complete, proper burial. The first time she died, she came back to life during the preparations for the burial (I have a headcanon about this too tbh), the second time was in Numenor and she drowned as she was battered against the sinking walls of the city, the third time she was left to be scavenged in the desert of the Harad, and the fourth time, she was poisoned, her arm rotting, and she was held down in flames till she suffocated.

Fun fact about Modern!Kayden: She once tried to steal two red pandas from the zoo because she loves them with her whole heart. She managed to sneak into the cage, take the two out and hide them until she got close the exit. That’s when she got caught and was banned from going to that zoo ever again.

MUSE’S FATAL FLAW.
H) Fatal flaw: You’re too clever by half.
Your intelligence is unmatched, but your smart mouth is going to get you into trouble one of these days. Everyone says so. Odds are you’ll make one witty remark too many and meet a tragic, easily preventable end that surprises no one in the least. You’ll be mourned, of course, but we all saw it coming, and you kind of deserved it.

(v: fall of the vanguard) random HC
Kayden hates spiders, and has a higher immunity to poisons because of a dangerous run in she had with Ungoliant. As a result, whenever Kayden sees a spider that’s bigger than her thumbnail, she freaks out and will leave the area and won’t return until the spider is either moved or killed. Spiders are genuinely one of her larger fears.

(General HC) Funeral HC for Kayden’s Easterling tribe:
Ceremony of the Sun Children:
A ceremony of the dead that occurs when someone who is considered noble in the tribe/or in multiple tribes dies, including children, the unborn, mothers, and fathers. The deceased’s body is prepared in special perfumes, most of which actually help keep moisture in the body in order to preserve it through the week long ceremony. The chief shaman who orders the body and funeral preparations ensures that themself and everyone who joins and take parts in the ceremony adorns their face and body with the proper markings, ones that symbolize mourning and rejoicing, in the proper colors; often black, white, red, gold, purple and blue. The shaman also adorns the deceased’s body with the markings to represent death, rot, life, rebirth, and the spirit in the proper colors, often in black, white, and gold. Putting the body onto furs on a (large) pyre, the shaman and their helpers then place smoldering herbs and flowers around the body, then they place 8 candles around the body, and then they place dried organs from animals as a sacrifice. After a celebratory 11 days have passed, the shaman passed the torch to a family member or lover and burn the pyre, and everyone sings until the fire has extinguished itself.
