My mama and I started our day yesterday with a hike through a forest in the mountains before last nights show. We got some juice/coffee and granola and hopped in the car to inch our way up the windy mountain roads to go explore. We found the quiet trail and wandered down until we found a peaceful area of smooth rock that looked to be a small waterfall. This is where we sat and admired the beauty all around us and had a much needed moment to meditate. With deep breathing and the grounding oneness from my body to the earth I was able to feel any worries or stress that I was holding onto before float up to the sky. I am here now, in this breathtaking moment in nature with my mother and we are as free as we choose to be. It was an easy going gorgeous day in Colorado. The show was amazing as always, @trevorhallmusic is an amazing performer even through having a fever. I'll write more about that after the second show tonight ☺️ I am full of gratitude from head to toe for nature and the way it brings me back to who I am, Trevor Hall and the way his music moves my soul and of course my wonderful mother who will never lose her crave for adventure. This is my (late) day 1 of #yogaeverydamnday challenge! Thank you @yoga_girl for keeping us all inspired. I've been slacking on my practice lately, it happens every so often that I let busy life take over me. I'm glad that the yoga girl posts and challenges always bring me back.
