Today’s #yogawithadriene affirmation was “I trust.” A few weeks ago I learned about four dimensions of trust: sincerity, reliability, competence, and care. I generally don’t fuck with people I think are insincere. Reliability can be worked around, competence can be taught. But the care thing seems to be where I’m particularly touchy. Heading into a real "gird your loins" stretch at work, so @adrienelouise's "yoga for psoas" couldn't have come at a better time. I took a two-month break from yoga while I got back on the treadmill. I've been stiff and sore for two months, with the additional benefit of all my running-associated traits: namely, competitiveness and impatience.
