second devlog!! this week hasn't been that productive on the writing front, simply because i had a massive exam on friday (i probably failed) and spent most of the week studying for it. but, on the development side is a different story. i've split up chapter 1 into 4 scenes. scene 1 is the longest with scene 4 coming up right behind it simply because it's our first perspective change and true introduction to the myth !

next update: demo

prologue: 50% done

scene 1: 75% done

scene 2: not started

scene 3: not started

scene 4: not started

erm so, hope is to finish scene 1 and 2 tomorrow after im done with classes, but worse case scenario, i don't and i have to push the demo release back by a day or two! to make up for the fact that i might have to push it back, send me literally anything to my inbox about the game (or not) and i'll answer it :)

I also like Hephaestus because hes just a nice and little sad man, god of artisans, volcanoes and fire who got kicked in the curb because Aphrodite was shagging Ares and hera threw him from mount Olympus after birth because he was ugly.

he's not ugly guys i swear 😭🙏 currently, im sticking with no religious belief, belief in all greek gods with equal devotion to all in a way, or belief in the gods but a devotion to one of them! there are going to be many opportunities to interact (ex; temples, praying, offerings, etc) with gods outside of the one you're devoting to - so i'll be tracking in the background who you interact with the most outside of the one you're choosing to devote too! all-in-all, yes! but not in the way you think of.

it's definitely not required! in fact, it might be better to go into it blind so you don't know what could potentially happen!

though, even if you knew the myth, it wouldn't remove any of the joy and surprise from the game bcuz im adding a lot onto the original myth 🫶
