Another little hc because I'm obsessed with Phil and Techno as war buddies

piglins develop very differently from humans

the kids are able to walk basically minutes after birth and are expected to quickly learn how to survive on their own

Techno doesn't have much experience with human kids-so when Philza shows him his new son, all he can really say is

"why is he so small?"

"he's gonna grow", Phil tells him

the next morning, Techno wakes him up at 6am

"Philza. He still hasn't grown."

AU where SBI are like 'reality hoppers' in which basically all the AUs that the fandom makes? They just keep exploring through them.

Bones in the ocean? Canon. The Last Heist? Canon. KIAV? Canon. They just keep exploring and noting down the different universes and disrupting the peace while waving around a family photo and yelling "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS CHILD? HE'S THIS TALL, CLEARLY BRITISH, DOESN'T HAVE ANY SOCIAL AWARENESS-"

The reason they keep hopping and hopping is bc they all got split up a while back, and they're trying to find their sbi, not this universe's one, come on!

"My Technoblade doesn't have such a bitch face!" -Tommy, probably, while waving his fist angrily at SUMW!Techno

You'd think this would turn out in angst bc oh no family is lost will they ever find each other, but they're getting closer with each jump (bc they've got trackers on eachother.) Its only taking an awful lot of time bc they keep getting into trouble. Wilbur's gotten stuck in a fantasy world with a dragon chasing him. Phil's being mistaken for royalty. Techno is a wanted criminal and is fighting superheroes. Tommy is surprisingly just lost in a random forest.

Eventually they find eachother and rework their tech so they never get split up again. Then they keep exploring and researching other worlds, bc they're all nerds in this AU, and there's a reason they're very good at adapting with so many realities.

My favourite thing in SBI family fics is the way people write their names. Everybody’s last name is minecraft? Valid. Tommy’s name is actually theseus? Agreed!!! Technoblade just doesn’t have a last name??? So true!! He is mysterious!! Tommy and Phil are literally just Tom Simons and Phil Watson? Ok??? I guess??? Theseus innit minecraft is a good one too. And Wilbur being known as William (bonus points if his middle/last name is ‘gold’)

(A personal favourite is ‘everybody has different last names but are all Phil’s biological children’)
