Hello everyone! i'm glad to say that the website for the General Xelqua au comic is now online! there's still more to come, for now, there's a home page and a page for the Book of Secrets. eventually, this is where the main comic will be hosted!

So where have I been for the past month or so? How far along is the comic? How’s the website?

Never fear! I haven’t died nor have I given up on the project!

My adhd and art block both decided to punch me in the gut in the same week, so I haven’t been drawing as much as I have this month, instead I’ve been doing other projects such as-

The website is 98% finished! I’ve just got to replace a few placeholders and I can release it! I’m so happy with it and I’m very excited about it:D if all goes well it should be up next week (no promises on that though, but I can say for certain that I’ll get it done by December I’ve got a lot on my plate rn)

How’s the comic doing? Right now I’m at an estimated 60% done, my date for late October was very off, even if art block hadn’t stepped in. Honestly, it releases when it releases, I won’t put a date on myself untill I get to the typesetting and cleanup stage of it

For now though, here’s my sona slapping the back of grian’s head (I hope you’re ready)

is the website up yet or r u still getting it ready?

It’s technically “up” in the sense that it exists, it’s just extremely barren at the moment. It only has the same basic plot blurb as on the welcome post which is why I’m not keen on officially sharing it yet

I am working on making it actually useable though! It’ll just take a bit

will all of the entry’s for the comic be on tumblr? I’m not really allowed on third party websites 😪

The main parts of the comic will be on the website. This is mostly due to tumblr image limits as well as just better organization. (So far the smallest part is 16 pages, however the rest are expected to be well over the image limit)

There will be minicomics that will be posted on tumblr (around 7 or so pages each) as well as the more lorebit comics such as book of secrets

Apologies about your situation! I don’t know of any workaround unfortunately.

Hello everyone! An announcement: chapter one part one “First Encounters” is nearly finished and will hopefully be released by mid to late October! Because of that I figured now’s the time to announce a bit of a roadmap of what’s coming

First and foremost the comic will not be hosted on tumblr, it will instead be hosted on a personal website which is currently linked on the custom blog page however it will soon be on the welcome post as well ^^ this is simply to keep it all contained and easier to read

More entries to The Book of Secrets (title pending) will be posted this month ! I currently have two more written until we can get on with the main comic, then more will be dotted between chapters 2-4

I’m the meantime please keep with the support I really appreciate it, don’t be afraid to send asks either, I find those really fun and you just might ask a question that I previously hadn’t thought about! Again thanks so much, I’m really excited to share this with you all, we’re always watching:)

Pearl 

Grian's sister and the founder of the nosy neighbours, a research group created to find/save Grian from the watchers

Tim

A canary avian and Grian's closest cousin from when they were kids, head of recon for the nosy neighbours, collecting information on the watchers and keeping tabs on them.

Cub

A half-vex and redstone expert. His specialty being mixing vex magic with traditional redstone. Scar's cousin. 

Joel

Prince of the fairies after marrying their princess. Former head of strategy of the nosy neighbours. Also Grian's cousin, He doesn't like him much though. 

BigB

A dove avian and co-founder of the nosy neighbours, head of research, organizing and making sense of information brought in.
