Tumblr media
Hey guys! It’s been what? 3 years since the last time I wrote here on my blog and I just want to say that there’s a lot of things that changed.
And I am happy to announce here that I am now a MOM! Yaaaay! (Well this is no longer a secret lol.) So yes, you read it right. I am officially a mom of a soon to be 3 year old boy.
Tumblr media
It’s been a three year tough battles for me. I’ve been challenged, been through a lot of breakdowns, and heart breaks, but I think I’ve done quite a good job for staying alive. LOL. I’ve always questioned why the world is punishing me for having this kind of situation. And I actually read on my last blog here which is the Life Sentiment and its funny because I mentioned there that I’ve been worrying a lot of things from my family to my career.. and unfortunately for me it all happened one by one. Like my world collapsed slowly and torturing me until these days.
Surprisingly, I remember this one topic that our Pastor preaches on us, that WORRY is a sin. That time, I didn’t really attentively listen to the preaching but that phrase “worry is a sin” remained on my mind. And every time that I worry that phrase always pops on my head. And so, I tried to search about why is worrying or anxiety is a sin. It says on the internet that it is a sin because it’s a sign of our failure to trust God and His goodness or to believe what He told us, and that is actually true.
Tumblr media
Since I’ve been such a worrier.. like what I said on my last blog about my career, that I don’t really know what I want and that I feel like my parents aren’t proud of me. I end up getting pregnant which is unplanned obviously, then I quit my job basically because I don’t want my co-workers to know that I am pregnant since I’m new to the company and they know that I’m single that time, so I don’t want to be the talk of the town. My career life on that company was getting better and they even told me that they see some potential in me and that they’re sad that I’m leaving. I wanted to stay but my tummy is getting bigger and the environment that I’m living is not really healthy for the baby. I live nearby my workplace which is walking distance. I just have to climb up the overpass every freaking day! I think its 20 steps up, and 20 steps down which is very tiring for a pregnant woman like me. Plus the overpass has no cover or roof so every day you have to bring umbrella for my sun protection, and it gets worse when it’s raining. The area is okay if you’re not very sensitive with the noise of the cars and jeeps and air pollution, and then the townhouse which is owned by the company that I’m working is rent free but we have to pay the electric and water bills dividing it with all the employees who live there. And since there’s different people live in one house everything is pretty dirty especially the kitchen part. Like there’s a lot of crawling cockroaches everywhere and I hate them so much. That’s why I can’t really cook so I end up buying food outside and I don’t want to eat Jollibee, Chowking, Mcdo or KFC every day! That’s why I had to quit my job because I’m not gonna take good care of myself and my baby if I stayed there.
Tumblr media
And so I stopped working and stayed at home and grow my belly. Then I gave birth and became a mom (I’m going to make another blog for this topic.) I only went back to work last year but its only a sub-contract so I only work for 2 months at a construction site, in charge with the performance of the laborers. Basically monitoring to see what they’ve done for the day and its pretty boring and not very challenging, although it’s a good pay haha.
Tumblr media
Then after that I started freelancing, doing plans and designs with random clients. But the downside of this is you gotta have a lot of connection to grow your business and I don’t have that. I don’t really sell out my work stuff, although I post it on my facebook but I’m really not saying that they should hire or something. I just post it for my friends to know that I can design houses haha but not really confident if my design is good. That’s why I posted it online in essence of validation I guess haha because I’ve always doubted myself, my capability, my skills. Like sometimes I feel like everything I do is not good enough unless I hear it on someone that I did great or a good job and that’s the only time that I am going to feel relieved. So after my last project, that’s when I tried selling out my works but I had a hard time getting another client so I started looking for a job from here and there.
Tumblr media
I did a few job interviews in Makati but sad to say I didn’t hear anything from them and I feel like I’m such a failure for not fitting the qualification that they’re looking for. I even tried applying in an airline since that’s what I really want to do, to travel the world, and I still didn’t get it.
Tumblr media
I am completely losing my patience and hope of finding a job by the end of this year. And then after 5 months of searching, I think I’m finally getting back on my feet and I’m gonna reveal that to you guys soon when it’s really sure haha.
Tumblr media
I’m happy with what’s going on with my life now. Its not that stable yet but its getting there. I don’t want to expect too much but I always have my hopes up and faith to God. This time, I will always entrust everything to God. I am going to stop worrying now, instead I will pray and just think positive. If something fails I will just think that it happens for a reason, that its not for me, and that God has bigger plans for me. I always say that to myself to keep me motivated to be the best person possibly for my family and my son. Time will come that I’m going to be able to give back to my parents, and to provide a good life for my son.
For the past 3 years that passed, all that struggles and challenges that I’ve been through just made me a strong person today and shape me into something better. Being in the midst of it is pretty painful but looking back at it taught me an important lesson that struggles in life doesn’t have to be my downfall. I just got to accept it and let if become my strength. No matter how hard life is, don’t lose hope.

Life Update: Sentiment
Tumblr media
Lately, I’ve been having such a hard time to sleep early at night, and it causes me these breakouts that I have on my forehead. Ugh! And its all because I think too much at night.
I think about all my worries, my doubts, my troubles, my life all in all. I’ve been having a tough time whenever I’m alone doing nothing, and I really think too much, and its really annoying it won’t stop! Smh. Sometimes I cry na lang if I really can’t take it anymore, and I can’t even talk to someone about this, because I don’t usually share my problems with people even my friends, and whenever I have company all these worries seems to vanish.
So yeah, most of the time I think about my future. What am I going to be? I’m really scared because until now, I still don’t know what I want. I’m just literally going with the flow. And it scares me because of the fact that I don’t want to disappoint my family, especially my parents for not having a successful career in the future which I hope not. I just want to give it all back to them. And I’m like their last hope and I don’t want to fail them. I want them to be proud of me, and as their daughter who graduated with a college degree that she doesn’t even want to take up to, I guess I deserve a tap in the back or a simple, “I’m so proud of you.” But yeah, never got that chance to hear that from them except from my Dad. My mom was just like, “May board exam pa.” I mean, WTF mom, can you at least not pressure me! LOL. But it seems like right now I’m already failing them, and I’m failing myself too. Yaay! -__- I don’t know why I just have big doubts to myself. I’m always afraid and nervous and worried to try new things, and I know I shouldn’t be. Like this two interviews that I failed! First was acceptable because that’s my first ever job interview and I’m super nervous and I had no idea what it’ll be like, and they have all these mind fvcking exams, ugh! Second try is pretty heartbreaking when you know to yourself that you did your very best, and it just happens that you don’t have that much of an experience which is kinda suck! But damn, those are big companies, DMCI and APMC. C’mon man! But I always tell this to myself, “that it’s okay, maybe its not meant for you, and that God has bigger plans for you, you just have to trust Him and wait for the right time.” So yeah, I just got to keep on hoping.
Second worries, family problems. I don’t want to elaborate it because its too personal. I’m just going to entrust all of this to God that sooner or later, everything is going to be fine, and that someday we’re going back to the old happy family that we were. But if its not God’s will, it’s okay as long as we’re still united and have that respect for each other, and as long they’re all happy, I’m okay with it. That’s all I want, to see them all happy and healthy.
Last, I have no social life. Haha. I mean, I rarely see my besties and I miss them so much. They’re too busy running their life, and I’m so so proud of them because they did come such a long way, and I know they work hard for it. All my batch mates in HS are all traveling abroad, partying, others getting married and having babies, and I was like lying here in my bed typing all these words that worries me, and trying hard to be a blogger. LOL. I just feel so left out, whyyy huhuhaha. But I know I’m not alone in this journey. I know someone out there feels the same way. HAHA. But one day, y’all see! Wink. Hopefully everything turns out the way I’d want it to be so pray for me!! And Lord, please take away all my worries in life. Amen. :)

Travel Diary: Baguio City (Day 2)
Tumblr media
Second Day of our trip.
We stayed in at Pine Breeze Cottages. At first, I thought the place is a little bit spooky because of its vibe, but its not. Yes, its an old hotel, but you’ll going to love it and got to experience the old Baguio here Pine Breeze.
Tumblr media
If you’re in a tight budget, this is the place to be. Its affordable and the room is fine. The room that we’ve got has a flat screen television. They also have a kitchen with a refrigerator, gas stove, kitchen utensils, and other stuff, which is cool because you can cook (you just have to buy the ingredients). The bathroom is clean, they actually have a shower heater.
Tumblr media
Just visit their website so y’all be able to see their cottages and rates. www.pinebreezebaguio.com
First Stop: OUR LADY OF LOURDES GROTTO
The Lourdes Grotto is another Catholic Shrine and a place of meditation in Baguio. Its is located on a high hill in the western part of the city where you will find the image of the Lady of Lourdes.
Tumblr media
Access to the top of the grotto could be made by climbing the 252 steps or by driving a light vehicle through a winding, narrow and steep asphalt-paved road. In our case, we chose to climb the 252 steps. Wew!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Second Stop: TAM-AWAN VILLAGE
We were on our way to La Trinidad when we saw this amazing artworks on the wall of the street, and we stop by to take some pictures.
Tumblr media
All Black #OOTD.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We didn’t get a chance to explore Tam-Awan Village because we’re in a hurry, maybe next time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the other side of the street, you’ll going to see this Art Gallery called Arko Ni Apo which is an Ilocano term for “Ark of the Lord.” So sad I didn’t get a glimpse of Ben-Hur Villanueva’s artworks. :(
Third Stop: BAHONG FLOWER FARM, LA TRINIDAD
We’re supposedly going to Strawberry Farm, but due to Typhoon Lando, the strawberry farm is battered by the typhoon. And we end up going to Bahong Flower Farm which is a nice alternative.
Tumblr media
This place is so serene and the only scenery that you can see is the Sierra Madre mountain ranges surrounding the huge cut-flower greenhouses, flower nurseries, and rose plantations.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don’t know what are these flowers called. Haha
Tumblr media
This is the Rose Farm, and as you can see there are no signs of roses because they already harvested the roses. -___-
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Last Stop: BURNHAM PARK
Burnham park is an urban park located at the heart of the Baguio City. It was named after the American architect and urban planner, Daniel Hudson Burnham who laid the plans for the city.
Tumblr media
Burnham Park Lake
Tumblr media
Strawberry Ice Cream
Tumblr media
Indulging my ice cream. Haha

Travel Diary: Baguio City (Day 1)
Tumblr media
Baguio City is the summer capital of the Philippines, and one of the favorite destination of locals and tourists because of its cool weather. But its not just the weather that makes Baguio became the favorite spot here in the Philippines, it is also filled with lots of scenery and great places. Let me share y’all my experiences here in Baguio.
First thing first, packed your bags. Make sure you have all the things that you needed. Packing up your stuff is very tricky, and hard. I really tried to pack light for our 3 days and 2 nights vacay, but since I’m a girl and I need almost every stuff that I own, I just can’t. Hahaha. Here’s a proof.
Tumblr media
First Stop: SITIO LA PRESA
For those people who want to relive the love story of Agnes and Xander, this is your destination.Sitio La Presa is where the hit teleserye of ABS-CBN Forevermore is being shot. The place is actually called Sitio Pungayan, an upland barangay in Tuba, Benguet.
Tumblr media
It was 6 or 7 am when we arrived in Baguio, its very chilly outside so don’t forget your sweater or jacket. As we went up to Benguet, all you’ll going to see is the magnificent sea of clouds.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
People who live here are so lucky to see this mesmerizing view every morning.
Tumblr media
As you go here, you’ll going to see a lot of signages in every corner just like this, and I just can’t go without taking picture here. lol.
Tumblr media
Agnes Calay House.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Agnes Bedroom.
Second Stop: CAMP JOHN HAY
Camp John Hay is named after President Theodore Roosevelt’s Secretary of State, John Milton Hay. This place is now a major tourism and recreation attraction for the tourists.
Tumblr media
The Manor is one of the best hotel here in Baguio, and latter known as the Grande Hotel in Forevermore.
Tumblr media
Baguio City is also called “The City of Pines”.
Tumblr media
Behind me is the The Manor Hotel.
Tumblr media
We grab some snacks at Mile-Hi Diner, they usually served American-style food, but there are some Filipino foods too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The place is very retro.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The food is great and yummy!
Third Stop: WRIGHT PARK & THE MANSION
Wright Park was named after Governor Luke E. Wright, the architect of this long, shallow reflecting pool or also called the “Pool of Pines”.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Mansion
The Mansion House is the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines. The Mansion was built in 1908 by Architect William E. Parsons.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Last Stop: MINES VIEW PARK
Mines View Park is actually an abandoned gold and copper mines. It is now an overlook park that offers a glimpse of the Amburayan Valley.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
One of Baguio’s best, Strawberry Taho!
When you’re going to buy pasalubong, Good Shepherd is the place to be. Its a lot more cheaper here, trust me! I bought Ube Jam in one of the store in Mines View and it cost me Php 250, but in Good Shepherd its only Php 200. Sigh.
Tumblr media
This is their Training Center.
Tumblr media
I only took this photo because I like the glass windows. This is the perfect glass window for the project that I’ve doing, an Office Building.

Fifty Shades of Gray
Tumblr media
“Always listen to your Inner Goddess.”
We women wants to feel sexy or to look sexy in every possible way, but the thing is we have lots of body insecurities. But you know what? I realize that no matter what size you are, if you’re confident you are sexy. Body confidence doesn’t come from trying to achieve the perfect body. It comes from embracing the one you’ve already got. Yes, we have lots of insecurities, but we have to learn how to love our-self and embrace our flaws.
I have tons of body insecurities too: I’m so skinny, my body is not proportion like I have longer thin upper body and the opposite on the lower part, etc.. So I asked my boyfriend who’s a photographer to do a little bit sexy photoshoot with me, because from now on I am embracing who I am.

Lost At Sea
Tumblr media
We all know that summer is the most fun season of the year. We go on vacation, go to the beaches, soak up under the sun, wear our fave bikinis, get drunk til we pass out.. etc. Summertime is always the best of what might be.
April 2015, we went to Sun Moon Beach Resort, Bagac, Bataan with my family and boyfie. Its actually my Tita’s & Tito’s who own the resort, so we always have a free pass. #Perks hahaha
In fact, we only went there to have a photoshoot. My loving boyfriend who’s a talented photographer took all my photos and it was amazing. He’s really good I swear. He can make my picture look stunning, plus he knows what I want when it comes to my peg, he already knew what he’s going to do.
See for yourself!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When it comes to sexy photoshoot, of course he’s my boyfriend, so I’m already comfortable with him when it comes to a peg like this.
Tumblr media
My mom drove us all the way here in Bagac. (L-R) my niece Nica, my mom, and my little niece Yana.

My boyfriend / personal photographer. Hihihi. He’s the best eveeer! :)

Apprentice
Ap-pren-tice (n) -  a person who is learning a trade from a skilled employer, having agreed to work for a fixed period at low wages.
I just graduated last April 2015 and started working for the next month at Archien Builders as a CAD Operator. I really had no idea how this whole apprenticeship would work. I mean, I don’t know how to use AutoCAD, I don’t know how to do the BOM or Bill of Materials, I don’t know how to render or use Vray Render, but I know a little bit about Sketchup 3D.
I work there for like 5 months from now, and I really learned a lot of things. I enhanced my skills day by day with the help of my colleagues. Thanks to them! And yeah, I am willing to learn and expand my knowledge about this field (which is the Architecture).
Here are some of my works:
Tumblr media
A 2-Storey Residential.  I know it looks like some of those houses in Sims. HAHA. But its not that bad for a first timer like me, I guess. lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is my room. It doesn’t really look like this, but the walls and doors are done. I always love decorating my room, and dreaming about having a nice room. So I had all these amazing ideas, I just have to create them for real. And there you go, my first Interior Design.
Tumblr media
BEFORE
Tumblr media
AFTER
Penelco Pilar Here in Bataan, Penelco is our main source of electricity. Every town in our province have their own office building. Our boss was given a task to renovate all the office buildings of Penelco and this one’s mine. My colleagues taught me on how to improve my rendering skills, and make this “before and after” possible.
Tumblr media
BEFORE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AFTER
Glass House This couple wants a glass house for their soon-to-rise resort. The plan of this house is all the same, I just did a lot of changes on the exterior design. I feel like I’m not satisfied with my first scheme so I made another one, and the client’s really like it. It was such an overwhelming feeling to see their reaction when they’ve got to see my work.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
2-Storey Residential with 2-Storey Duplex Apartment This one is for my cousin. Basically, she only wants a bungalow house, but I told her that there’s not enough room for all the spaces that she wants me to put. So I suggest that it would be much better if its a 2-Storey Residential, and she agreed to it, and then, I end up with this.
There’s a lot of tricks that I don’t know on how to make my model look so realistic, but I’m up to it. I am looking forward to the betterment of my works and for more opportunities. This field is not that pretty easy. In Architecture, you will make a lot of mistakes - from planning up to your designs, but its okay because eventually you’ll learn from it. You’ll learn that it is not just about creating, planning and designing a building, its about passion and dedication that you’ll put through it, and at the end of the day, all your hard work will be paid off.

Neophyte
This was my first ever photo shoot gig, which was taken two years ago. It was an open shoot of BLC or the Bataan Light Catchers for their event Photoskwela '13 which was held at the La Vista Inland Resort, Bataan. Since it was an open photo shoot, I expected a lot of photographers. Whew! I was totally nervous at that moment because I seriously don't know what to do, it was my first time, I don't know how to project and angle myself, I was a bit camera shy by then, because I don't know the people around me and I'm new with this kind of stuff. Well, yeah, I took a lot of photos of myself, but all of it was selfies and self-timer photo. Guilty ME! HAHAHAHA
Anyway, here are some of my best and fave photos of ME! :)
