Is it okay to ask who our mods are? 👀
Yes, of course!
Right now it's me, Koi, and our only current mod @cherriesbmb, who's been a huge help with the server so far. When we get up and running I'll likely open a staff application for more mods, but if anyone is interested in helping out with the opening send me a message!

Are there any colors or coat patterns more or less common depending on the group(s)?
Hello!
There isn't any sort of requirement! Cats appear in all shapes and sizes, but here are some commonalities:
The Empire favors more striped and spotted patterns (i.e. tabbies, bengals), and darker coloring. The Clowder cats tend to have thicker fur, lighter shades, and splotched patterns.
The Fury and the Wings don't have the same type of trends; the Wings because they are more prone to accepting loners and wandering, the Fury because they are a somewhat young group. However, many southern cats have thinner bodies and shorter fur, and the Furies tend to have a large population of long-furred cats due to the cold climate.
Again, this is not a requirement. Calemvir is an Oriental Shorthair, and my Clowder OC is a Maine Coon, so even I tend to mix and match trends myself. The world is your oyster!

Follow the compass East to find harmony.
Alongside the eastern coast, where the waves of the Whipping Sea beat roughly onto the rocky cliffs, lives a peaceful and fun-loving group of cats who never let anyone else shake their faith in each other and themselves.
Are you a lost wanderer, looking for somewhere to call home, but hope to find a place full of love and understanding? The Clowder beckons you East.
Tumblr media
At a Glance
Deity: Prosperity/Tugging Current Element / Season: Water, Spring Main Teachings: Harmony and Wisdom Lifestyle: Relaxed and easy-going - the Clowder values peace and positivity Education: Trainees are trained at 8 moons old by the senior members Leadership: Non-traditional monarchy - the title of Watcher of the Rain is usually passed down through the bloodline, but the Clowder isn't strict about it and don't care much for blood "purity" Naming: Two-word system; often words relating to the sea or ocean life; ex: Soaring Auk, Thundering Wave
Territory
Region: The Whipping Sea Camp: Peace Cove Environment: Vast open ocean, beaches (mostly rocky, some sandy), soaring cliffs Flora: Very low vegetation - some shrubs further inland and within the Cove, seaweed, dune grass Fauna: Fish (drum, bass, tuna, perch), large marine animals (dolphins, sharks, barracuda, marlin), semi-aquatic animals and birds (sea snakes, gulls, terns, sandpipers)
The Clowder Throughout History
The Founders (Years 0-13)
Founded by a cat named Auk, who discovered Prosperity living alone by the sea and became their companion. Prosperity showed Auk the way of peace, love, and wisdom; teachings that he would then go on to demonstrate to other lone cats, showing them how to live off the coast and live a life full of harmony. Auk eventually became Soaring Auk and the leader of the newfound Clowder. Prosperity, feeling fond and like their work was completed, vanished into the ocean to leave their companion to his new life.
The Age of Sucession (Years 14-27)
Soaring Auk goes missing, and many Clowder cats assume his longing became too unbearable and he joined Prosperity in the sea. The Clowder wishes him well, and Soaring Auk's youngest child, Dolphin Cry, is looked at as the next Watcher of the Rain.
The First Compass War (Years 28-34)
The Clowder remains uninvolved for a large chunk of the War. Because they rarely venture inland, the War went over for almost two years before they even discovered it's happening, and even then it was from a passing remark by a loner about all the bloodshed further west.
When the Wings initially reached out to the Clowder, nearly four years into the war, Dolphin Cry refused to provide assistance. It wasn't the Clowder's fight. While some of the eastern cats disagreed, there wasn't any opinions strong enough in the Wings' favor to justify speaking out. However, when the younger sister of a deceased Feather came alone to plead their case again, this time striking fear in Dolphin Cry's heart by claiming that the Empire will push further east and kill them too, he agreed to help.
The Clowder heads west to help the Wings plan how to take down General Silkweaver. Dolphin Cry becomes even more sympathetic to their cause by seeing how the Empire's destruction has affected them. The Clowder joins to the Wings in the final showdown with the Empire, only to be shocked and horrified when Loyalty, the Empire's Divine, moves to strike down Silkweaver. The younger sister who had pled the WIngs' case to the Clowder, and subsequently vanished, emerges from the river to rip her apart instead. Upon vanishing again, after declaring that the War is over, the sister gains the moniker Estelar and becomes the first ruler of the Fury.
The War of Flames and Flood (Years 35-39)
Post-War, many Clowder cats stay behind the help the Wings rebuild, most notably Dolphin Cry's son, Thundering Wave.
Thundering Wave only intended to stay for a few moons, but ended up falling in love with a gentle tomcat of the Wings, and ending up staying closer to two whole years with the southerners to be with him and become his mate.
Throughout that time, Dolphin Cry's mental health began declining rapidly, and he begins to resent the Wings for stealing his son. Thundering Wave chooses to leave his mate and return home to try and soothe his father, but to no avail - Dolphin Cry merely turns his resentment towards his own son, instead.
After months of tension, Thudering Wave's mate heads east and try and check on him, only to be cornered by Dolphin Cry against the cliffs of Highstones. Thundering Wave manages to convince his father that there was no deeper threat from the Wings at all, that he just fell in love and that is why he stayed. Luckily, the two mates were able to soothe the tensions before bloodshed could occur, but the incident still gained a nasty moniker in history.
The Golden Age (Years 40-47)
Dolphin Cry has stepped down as Watcher, due to his realization of his actions and his failing mental state, and lets Thundering Wave take over, mate at his side. Due to this new leadership, the relationship with the Wings repairs itself rapidly.
Trade is established between the newly-four groups.
The Second Compass War (Years 48-52)
The Clowder knows nothing of Scorch's plans to frame them for the murder of the Fury's royal family, until Scorch's mother informs all of the leaders after his murder. Harsh Sand, the newly-titled Watcher, hesitantly agrees to head north to help clear up the confusion with the other leaders; however, they end up encountering a Fury on the way by the name of Wynather, alongside the Wing assassin's mangled body. Wynather waves off the other leaders, claiming that they knew the truth of the assassinations and no harm was done, and announced themself the new Monarch in the North.
The Council of the Four Points (Year 53)
The Empire's General, Iceheart, comes up with the idea to meet every moon to discuss grievances and any other updates between groups to avoid miscommunications. The other's agree - nowadays, the leaders often skip the meetings and entrust their Ambassadors with the honor.
The Wolf Queen (Years 54-Present)

Follow the compass West to find honor.
In the western part of the region lives a group nestled deep within the towering pines of the Ironwood, dedicated to an orderly life of neatly defined expectations and the satisfaction of being dutiful.
Are you a lost wanderer, looking for somewhere to call home, but needing a certain kind of strictness to keep yourself in line? The Empire beckons you West.
Tumblr media
At a Glance
Deity: Loyalty/Fierceclaws Element / Season: Earth, Autumn Main Teachings: Duty and Honor Lifestyle: Strict and very orderly - very miltary-like Education: Trainees begin their education at 15 moons and are trained by the most senior soldiers Leadership: Military dictatorship - one General in charge, whose orders are expected to be followed; strong, centralized government Naming: PrefixSuffix system; either the prefix or the suffix is given at birth and the missing half is earned at graduation; intimidating names are favored, with nature themes common; ex: Silkweaver, Ironteeth
Territory
Region: The Ironwood Camp: The Iron Stronghold Environment: Dense coniferous forest, thick underbrush, shadowy, lots of water Flora: Shrubs/bushes, trees (mostly pine, some spruces/firs/aspens/cedars) Fauna: Large ungulates (elk, moose), squirrels, rodents (voles/mice/shrews), birds, wolves, mountain lions, foxes
The Empire Throughout History
The Founders (Years 0-13)
Founded by Ironteeth and his ragtag, nomadic group of rogues. After they settle in the Ironwood, they begin being attacked by a neighboring pack of wolves - Iron turns all able-bodied members of his group into a force to be reckoned with, after Fierceclaws visited him in a dream, and became the first General.
The Age of Sucession (Years 14-27)
Ironteeth has died. Several cats vie for his position, which ultimately leads to violence. Only one survives. Silkweaver has become the new General and declares the Empire as entering into a new era. This also solidifies the changing of leadership within the Empire as their infamous coup d'etat.
The First Compass War (Years 28-34)
The Empire, under the guidance of the blood-thirsty Silkweaver, begins pressing into Wing territory for better hunting. Despite the Wings confronting them, rightfully upset, the Empire soldiers do not take them seriously. Silkweaver's convincing remarks on the weakness of the Wings and the Empire's superiority have taken grasp within the soldiers.
As tensions with the Wings turn to violence and the Empire launches an attack on Goldenleaf Grotto itself, the soldiers slowly become disillusioned with Silkweaver's leadership. They are losing sight of their motivations, and there now have been too many Empire deaths to forgive. Murmurs of dissent begin to come from Silkweaver's ranks.
The emergence of what is now known as field medics keeps the death toll from getting too high, but Sagesifter becomes one of the most outspoken dissenters against the War, their newfound position as a battle-healer giving them an authoritative edge many soldiers find themselves following - especially because Sagesifter likely saved their life.
The Empire faces off with the Wings, and the Clowder, one last time, only to be shocked and horrified when Loyalty moves to strike down Silkweaver; however, the sister of a since-murdered Feather emerges from the river to rip her apart instead. Upon vanishing again, after declaring that the War is over, the sister gains the moniker Estelar and becomes the first ruler of the Fury.
The War of Flames and Flood (Years 35-39)
The Empire hides away post-War, ashamed and in disarray. The effects of the War have been felt strongly by the soldiers, many of them either guilt-ridden or struggling to unlearn Silkweaver's propaganda.
After a period of recovery, Iceheart becomes the new General.
The Golden Age (Years 40-47)
The Empire emerges from their self-imposed exile. Iceheart has chosen to focus on the Empire's improvement, abandoning the group's previous vie for territory gain.
Trade is established between the newly-four groups, and Iceheart has put in effort into helping repair relationships. The soldier training process is also solidified.
The Second Compass War (Years 48-52)
The Empire knows nothing of Scorch's plans to frame them for the murder of the Fury's royal family, until Scorch's mother informs all of the leaders after his murder. Iceheart is livid, and agrees to head north to help clear up the confusion with the other leaders; however, they end up encountering a Fury on the way by the name of Wynather, alongside the Wing assassin's mangled body. Wynather waves off the other leaders, claiming that they knew the truth of the assassinations and no harm was done, and announced themself the new Monarch in the North.
The Council of the Four Points (Year 53)
Iceheart comes up with the idea to meet every moon to discuss grievances and any other updates between groups to avoid miscommunications. The other's agree - nowadays, the leaders often skip the meetings and entrust their Ambassadors with the honor.

I have a question, do the four groups have trading/merchants?
Hi! Yes, the group do have an established trade agreement with each other. Right now it's set up to be that each group periodically sends trading envoys that rotate through the other groups around once a month or every other month, but it is a pretty loose and unofficial system. There are no official merchants.
If people are interested, however, in a more "official" trading system and an established Merchant rank, then that's something I can definitely work on adding!
Thank you for the question!

Follow the compass South to find freedom.
In the southern portion of the region, in the wide-open golden plains of the Phoenix Fields, lies a group of free-spirited and ambitious cats dedicated to living their lives by their own dictation - not anybody else's.
Are you a lost wanderer, looking for somewhere to call home, but wanting to avoid the strict rigidity that you see all-too-often? The Wings beckon you South.
Tumblr media
At a Glance
Deity: Liberty/Blitz Element / Season: Fire, Summer Main Teachings: Honesty and Freedom Lifestyle: Relaxed and loose - communal parenting and polyamory is common Education: Trainees are trained communally Leadership: Representative democracy - 5 cats, named the Golden Feathers, are elected to govern the group; very weak government, prone to suggesting and advising than ordering Naming: One-word; often words found in nature or are fire-related; ex: Dune, Spitfire
Territory
Region: The Phoenix Fields Camp: Goldenleaf Grotto Environment: Wide golden grass fields, few trees, little sun shelter, rivers/streams/lakes Flora: Bushes/shrubbery, dotted sparsely with trees (aged oaks, sequoias, willows) Fauna: Large grazing animals (horses, deer, sheep), rabbits/hares, waterfowl, rodents, coyotes, wild dogs, birds of prey, snakes
The Wings Throughout History
The Founders (Years 0-13)
Founded by Spitfire and her four mates, blessed by Liberty and tasked with promoting personal freedom and growth to the cats they cohabited with and any newcomers they come across.
The Age of Sucession (Years 14-27)
Two of Spitfire's mates have passed and the Wings do not think the replace them. After a sign from Liberty, it is established that there must always be five Feathers.
The First Compass War (Years 28-34)
The Empire begins encroaching on Wing territory, pressing their hunting patrols further and further east into the Phoenix Fields. Upon confronting a patrol, the Wings learn that the Empire does not take them seriously, and it ignites the anger of the entire group - particularly Dusty, one of the younger, newly-elected Feathers. Once the confrontations and tensions turn to bloodshed, Dusty is murdered and left for dead.
The Wings seek help from the Clowder. Dusty's younger sister, enraged by her sibling's death, pleads their case to the Clowder leader, securing the Clowder's support in the War. While she was negotiating, however, the Empire had attacked the Grotto and both her children were killed. She swore to destroy the Empire's General, Silkweaver, and vanished into the mountains.
The Wings face-off with the Empire one last time with the Clowder at their side, only to be shocked and horrified when Loyalty, the Empire's Divine, moves to strike down Silkweaver but Dusty's sister emerges from the river to rip her apart instead. Upon vanishing again, after declaring that the War is over, Dusty's sister gains the moniker Estelar and becomes the first ruler of the Fury.
The War of Flames and Flood (Years 35-39)
Post-War, many Clowder cats stay behind the help the Wings rebuild after Silkweaver's destruction, most notably the Clowder leader's son.
The leader's son only intended to stay for a few moons, but ended up falling in love with a gentle tomcat Dune, of the Wings, and ending up staying closer to two whole years with the Wings.
Due to the Clowder leader's failing mental health, he begins to resent the Wings for stealing his son, and eventually their is some resentment on the Wings side too, mostly from a she-cat named Ruby. The leader's son chooses to leave his mate and return home to try and soothe his father, to no avail.
After months of tension, Dune heads east and try and check on his mate, only to be cornered by the Clowder's leader. The leader's son manages to convince his father that there was no deeper threat from the Wings, that he just fell in love. Luckily, the two mates were able to soothe the tensions before bloodshed could occur, but the incident still gained a nasty moniker in history.
The Golden Age (Years 40-47)
Trade is established between the newly-four groups. Relationships between groups are healing due to newly improved leadership from all sides.
The Second Compass War (Years 48-52)
Ruby, a Wing full of resentment and anger, still feels unsatisfied that no war ended up being fought with the Clowder, passing on her negative feelings to her son, Scorch. Upon gaining adulthood and eventually the title of Feather, Scorch wished to fight a war - but instead of the Empire, who were in an era of peace, or the Clowder, who a war with had been attempted and failed, he set his sights on the Fury.
Alongside a friend of his, Hummingbird, the two schemed to assassinate the Fury's royal family and frame the Empire and Clowder to start another war. Hummingbird carried out the assassinations successfully, but got caught while escaping. Paranoid, Scorch waited restlessly for the fallout, but the Fury remained silent for almost an entire year, sending Scorch into a panic.
Eventually, Scorch is found dead in his nest, killed by an unknown poison. Confused, the Wings call on Clowder and Empire healers, but come up with nothing. Ruby, distraught, ends up confessing her son's entire plans to all the gathered leaders. The leaders decide to head north to clear up the confusion, but end up encountering a Fury on the way by the name of Wynather, alongside Hummingbird's mangled body.

The Divine Loyalty
loy·al·ty /ˈloi(ə)ltē/ noun a strong feeling of support or allegiance.
Deity of Earth, Patron of Duty and Honor
Colloquially known as Fierceclaws, Loyalty is the favored deity of the Empire.
Fierceclaws lives up to his name - he is intense, strategic, and oftentimes violent. He demands allegiance and obedience from his group, and expects his soldiers to be dutiful and honorable. The Empire, despite very rarely seeing his mortal form, understand and abide by his expectations.
Fierceclaws' historic appearance during the First Compass War to dispose of Silkweaver lives on in many Empire stories and retellings, leading to him becoming an intimidating figure. Perfection is not required, but how he handled Silkweaver proved that loyalty and honor certainly is.
Fierceclaws has negative relationships with the other deities. He and Calemvir interact the least, but Calemvir is the deity Fierceclaws is the most cordial to. He respects the Fury the most out of the other groups, albeit begrudgingly. He views Tugging Current's philosophies as weak and childish, but it is Blitz that he truly hates. To him, her outlook on life and her preaching of freedom is abhorrent, and her group's lack of order annoys him to no end. The two rarely can be near each other without arguing.
Fierceclaws is often referred to as a god of war. Due to his intense militaristic mind and orderly attitude, as well as his penchant for violence, many regard him as a warmonger deity. Due to the Empire's history as harbingers of bloodshed, they have stepped away from the more aggressive parts of their lifestyle, focusing instead on becoming more orderly and dutiful as an independent group. Fierceclaws, too, has taken a step back from promoting more bloodshed - some more outspoken cats believe him to be guilty about the First Compass War. He is also known as the entity of autumn, the heart of the forest, and the bringer of the night.

k i have to ask. is calemvir based off of hades??? he gives emo hades vibes haha
also is blitz meant to be apollo and current artemis ???
ty for all ur hard work on this!! it looks awesome and im very excited!!!
Hi! Thank you so much for the support! I appreciate it so, so much.
Most of inspiration for the deities are actually based off a mix of things!
Calemvir is actually based on Thanatos, primarily, rather than Hades. He also has some Anubis influence as well, and some very, very minor Hypnos influence (and also Hua Cheng but let's ignore that for now).
Blitz is actually not based off of Apollo! She doesn't have the artistic or medicinal domain. She's more based off of Amaterasu, Libertas, Eos, and surprisingly or unsurprisingly, Lucifer. The Roman version more than the Christian version, of course. She's kind of a catch-all.
Tugging Current is more Apollo-coded than Blitz is, minus the sun symbolism. Lots of Eastern inspiration for them. Apollo is an influence for sure, but the Dragon Kings of the Four Seas, specifically Ao Guang/the Azure Dragon is also up there. Also, Ryujin.
Fierceclaws is mostly Tyr and Ares/Bellona, unsurprisingly.
Also, sorry for ranting in reply! My brain just kinda went. My apologies. <3 Hope you enjoyed anyway!

The Divine Liberty
lib·er·ty /ˈlibərdē/ noun the power or scope to act as one pleases.
Deity of Fire, Patron of Freedom and Honesty
Colloquially known as Blitz, Liberty is the favored deity of the Wings.
Blitz is a harsh and intense cat. She has boundless energy, and is extremely stubborn. The Wings view her pretty neutrally; she is meant to serve as support, rather than a guide. She does not expect them the follow her every whim, nor do they expect her to be around to babysit them. The Wings do what they wish, and their patron deity is no exception - rather the blueprint.
Due to Blitz very rarely showing her face, she isn't very close to her group. Her expectations are very low. Her thoughts, and the thoughts of the Wings in general, are very centered towards personal growth and the freedom to be oneself. She is not very present in her group's culture; she is their deity, yes, but they rarely seek her advice or imbed her into their storytelling.
Blitz has a positive relationship with the Divine Prosperity, Tugging Current, but her relationship with both the other deities are either neutral or flat-out negative. She views Calemvir as odd and too spiritual, but she has no outright grievances against him. Fierceclaws, on the other hand, she despises, viewing his violent rigid strictness as bothersome and frankly unecessary. Blitz is extremely hot-headed and willful, making the two butt heads often, but her fun-loving and exciting lifestyle makes her and Tugging Current close friends.
Blitz is also referred to often as a god of love. Due to her putting forth the importance of personal freedom, many cats in the Wings apply those teachings to the idea of love. The Wings have the simple idea that love can and should be practiced when all parties are willing and of age, making polyamory a common practice; something Blitz greatly approves of. She is also known as the entity of summer, the bringer of the dawn, and the spirit of the sun.

The Divine Absolution
ab·so·lu·tion /ˌabsəˈlo͞oSHən/ noun formal release from guilt, obligation, or punishment.
Deity of Air, Patron of Ambition and Deliverance
Colloquially known as Calemvir, Absolution is the favored deity of the Fury.
A cat shrouded in mystery, Calemvir can sometimes been vaguely unsettling considering his penchant for silent observation. However, the rest of the Fury tend to find his presence comforting despite his oddity, and he is often sought out for advice or companionship.
The only deity to ever reside directly within the group they preside over, Calemvir leans into his position within the Fury. While not exactly an authority figure, he is well respected amongst the group as a friend more than a deity. He doesn't use his godly influence much.
To the other three deities, Calemvir is viewed as extremely strange, unnerving, and unknowable. He isn't close to any of the other gods, both by them not wanting to approach him and him not wanting to be approached. He is content being by himself or with the Fury, and spent many, many years completely alone before Estelar found him. However, he is grateful for the Fury's company even if he still has no desire to build a relationship with the other gods.
Calemvir is also referred to often as a god of death. Because of his position as the patron of absolution, many Furies treat him as if a personification of death; not that death is a bad thing, to them, of course. Calemvir takes on this moniker with pride, and is an essential part of the group's funeral rites and can often be found sitting with dying cats as they slip away. He is also known as the entity of winter, the caller of storms, and the bringer of the frost.

The Divine Prosperity
pros·per·i·ty /präˈsperədē/ noun the state of being prosperous.
Deity of Water, Patron of Wisdom and Harmony
Colloquially known as Tugging Current, Prosperity is the favored deity of the Clowder.
A gentle and wise cat, Tugging Current provokes a sense of peace amongst their followers through their benevolent demeanor. They are soft-pawed and kind-hearted, and are often depicted in stories to be an almost parental figure to the Clowder.
They are rarely seen physically by the Clowder. Instead, they often like to visit their followers dreams, either to pass on praise or a message or to simply visit unseen to observe the other's state of mind. Despite not being commonly seen, their presence is heavily felt amongst the Clowder.
Amongst whom they deem friends as well as the other deities, however, Tugging Current can be more commonly described as loud and mischievous. They are extremely outgoing and love to have a good time; due to this, they are good friends with the Divine Liberty. However, despite their goofy and bubbly personality, Tugging Current is also known to have a temper. While generally the type to try and keep the peace, they also have a very intense moral compass; while it isn't easy at all to make them truly angry, their anger is a tempest that will leave wrongdoers shipwrecked.
Tugging Current is also commonly referred to as a god of healing, be it mental or physical. While not their official domain, Tugging Current has become locally known as the patron saint of healers and artists, or any of those who use the ocean and the Divine's teachings as a way to find relief. They are also known as the entity of spring, the bringer of rain, and the spirit of the moon.

Hello! I’ve been following this rp lately and watching excitedly but I have to admit that it’s pretty hard to get through the document with all of the groups. Will this information be available in individual documents or posts about the individual groups?
Hi!
Yeah, that's definitely something I can do! I know I threw a lot of information out there 😅
I'll separate the Gen. Info document into individual docs tonight after I'm off work! The "General Information" link should be updated as soon as that's finished. Tumblr posts for all the groups individually is also in works as well!
Thank you so much for being excited about this RP! I appreciate all of the support!!!
(Divine posts should be coming soon too!)
Edit: Main Tumblr post has been updated. The "General Information" link should now take you a shared Drive folder with separate documents for each group, along with the original Master doc!

Follow the compass home.
Will you follow the compass South, to the sun-beaten golden fields that house the Southern Wings, a tight-knit group dedicated to a life of freedom and honesty? The Wings would gladly welcome you home.
Or will you follow the compass West, to where the Empire of the West resides deep in the shadows of the forest? The Empire is strict and unyielding, founded on the promise of honor and duty, and you would have to prove yourself for the General to pass judgement in your favor.
Maybe you'll follow the compass East, to the crashing waves of the ocean shore, where the Clowder at the Eastern Sea makes its home? The Clowder is passionate and fun-loving, pursuing a life of harmony, and you would be welcomed with a smile and a laugh.
Or perhaps you'll follow the compass North, to where the Fury in the North hides among the towering, snow-capped mountain peaks? Be cautious, though, for the Fury is a young group dedicated to a life of cunning ambition, secretly hatched plots, and finding deliverance. The Royal family is hard to gain the favor of.
Which way is your heart guiding you?

It will offer a full timeline with an immersive history still felt in present-day roleplay, four unique groups to find your home with (or even outside of!), is entirely LGBTQIA+ friendly, and will have a character- and roleplayer-driven plot!
As of right now, we are planning to open applications in late spring. Links will be added below as they are completed.
Send in an ask with any questions you may have, or what group you want more details about first!
