Important announcement

Hello everyone,

First of all, I wanted to thank you for supporting and loving this project. Oli and I never expected so much love and support from day one. I'll always be forever in everyone's debt.

But for now, my energy is running very low for this AU, I tried my best to push for you guys to get content, but I simply dont have the drive to write as much for now? Oli is also experiencing great changes in her life and does not have time to write. So, as owners and creators of this AU, we shared the decision to put the Gifted AU on indefinite Hiatus, until one or the other, or both, has the renewed drive to write and draw for Gifted.

I am grateful we've made so many friends here, and I hope this news doesnt destroy anything. I will try my very best to find my drive again and write the continuation for this epic story we both created.

UPDATE!

Hello everyone, Odd here! There hasn't been much going on here, and here is why;

I've encountered a writer's block. I've been chipping slowly at the newest chapter, but it has been a slow progress. Oli is partaking in helping to write this new chapter and hopefuly together, we can soon finish it up and release it!

Second, my PC has decided that it would well, stop working. Its been at the techs for a few days now with no direct news which is... Never a good sign. Due to this I cannot digitaly draw anything, so asks, designs and other drawn content will have to wait until my PC is returned and in working shape!

Your art and your artstyle is so very amazing keep it up the fantastic work bc you are the best and very amazingly talented artist and I've have a question for you how on earth did you draw so very cool character designs?

Character design has been a passion for a long time! Honestly making characters isn't so hard when you dig from irl source material! Take Fastpass for example, my thoughts were:

1. He needs to be able to keep good movement

2. He needs to be unique and different from his kid costume, but still recognizable as Jimmy!

3. What would JIMMY wear as a hero costume?

And with these three questions you start the research process! Sketch multiple looks, and find inspiration in real outfits. The idea that stuck was the racecar driver suit, because speed, and colorful easy patterns. Add a few touches that feel character accurate, like the stickers on his crutches, and voila! You got a design!

Practicality needs to blend with aesthetic especially in super hero intended designs! Always think of your character's power first so their outfit can fit their needs.

Is there going to be some references or appearances of other antagonists like Mitch Conner/Nathan/Leslie? I absolutely love them whenever they're on screen and honestly I was just curious about it
