Is there anyone who's not allowed to join the server?

We only limit a few groups simply for the sake of server safety!

Of course, the general criteria applies (i.e. if you express racist, transphobic/truscum/transmisogynist views on your blog, etc. you can't join,) but additionally:

- No supporters of pedophilic, incestous, abusive, or otherwise toxic ships/"proshippers"

- Nobody who's entering the server with intent of stirring up discourse (this server supports those who identify as ace or aromantic, and those who use xenogenders/neopronouns. there are a few topics that are banned from discussion as to not stir up fuss or harm. we ask that the q slur, along with other slurs, be censored while in the server for the safety & comfort of our community.)

Last of all, the age cutoff is 25, simply because many of the folks currently in the server are minors!

This list may update/change at the discretion of myself & the other server mods, but yeah! I think that it isn't pretty limiting as it is right now.

Lumberjanes Week Update!

Hey, Lumberjumbies! The time has FINALLY come for us to announce the official 2021 Prompt List! Special thanks to the good folk of the Lumberjanes Discord Server for all their advice and suggestions.

Each day will have up to two themes, just like last year. You can choose which prompt you’d like to follow, or you can do both! Note that there is now an additional, optional "free choice day" afterward for any extra ideas you may want to get in.

Lumberjanes Week will take place from Monday, July 5th to Sunday, July 11th!

Day 1 (July 5th): Favorite Roanoke // First Day of Summer

Day 2 (July 6th): Magical Creatures // Greek Mythology

Day 3 (July 7th): TV Series Predictions // TV Series Designs

Day 4 (July 8th): AU Day

Day 5 (July 9th): OTP/BroTP // Rare Pairs

Day 6 (July 10th): Ghost Stories // Land of Lost Things

Day 7 (July 11th): Unresolved Lore/Mysteries // Last Day of Summer

Day 8 (July 12th): Free Choice

Not sure what to do? Here's a reminder that any and all fan creations are welcome - art, writing, analysis/theories, playlists, moodboards, cosplay, and anything else you can think of. Lumberjanes Week 2021!

What's up, Lumberjumbies? It's been a year since the last Lumberjanes Week, somehow - and what an event it was! We saw a huge outpouring of incredible content from fans around Tumblr. With the announcement of the Lumberjanes series, it's time to gather our cabinmates and host the second annual Lumberjanes Week!

This will work the same as last year. We'll pick a week soon, which will be announced along with a set of daily prompts. Every day, we encourage everyone in the Lumberjanes community to create something related to the prompt. This could be writing, art, moodboards, theory posts, fan edits, cosplays, and anything else you can think of! We'll be tracking the #lumberjanes week tag; please tag your posts with that so we can reblog them here.

Just like last year, we would love it if you submitted any prompt ideas you had. All ideas are good ideas, and we'll consider anything you submit! The prompt list and dates will be finalized soon, so stay tuned and feel free to send in an ask if you need anything (or just want to say hi!).

every single day the lumberjanes fandom avoids the biggest mystery of them all: who is the mysterious creator of the song ‘lumberjanes’ (2003) on youtube, which seems to have no connection to the comic at all (having been written at least 11 years prior to the comic’s release) and yet bears the exact same, rare yet identical, name.
