Hi, aaarghgg, so I listened to Campaign straight through about… 3-4 years ago, I want to say? I don’t even have anything specific to say rn except that it’s wonderful seeing a new person discover it and fall into a pit of madness, and it makes me feel very Spider-Man meme.

the star wars arc of campaign podcast is my most favorite thing in the word. 

i remember the day i started it. midmorning at my desk at work, halloween 2017. i made it through ten or fifteen minutes of the first episode before texting one of my friends that she had to get in on this too, because i was already losing my mind. leenik had just discovered that the escape pod was a closet full of business cards and christmas lights, and i was ready to die for him. i had no idea that 2018 was going to chuck my life into chaos, but i was already prepared.

one of the most miraculous things about this story is that its as-is ending, while unintended, is still wondrously satisfying. but i still wanted more, and i knew that wasn’t going to be given to me, so–the google doc this fic lived in is titled “my city now.” it’s my love letter to the mynock and bluebird as far as i understood their arcs. 

i wrote the first half of the first chapter the day the arc ended, just under two and a half years ago. it’s been my main pandemic project to finally see it finished, and now it is. 

make brave and heroic decisions.
