Sorry I had to reply through asks (your comments were turned off) but not really just something fluffy and cute?
Ok then I will work on fixing those comments and writing something full of fluff (I may be slow at writing due to college but I’ll get to work on it).

secret relationship // wanda maximoff
summary: you're the daughter of the famous Black Widow, which comes with its own set of hurdles such as revealing to her that you're dating the newest Avenger that she also happens to be mentoring – Wanda Maximoff. What could go wrong?
warning/s: minor (implied) violence and injury
author's note: okay so the request was the reader is Natasha's daughter and is struggling to tell Natasha that she's dating Wanda. All I know is I got excited (as usual) and this happened so yeah, enjoy! Also, Wanda’s age is always a mystery to me since it’s interpreted differently with everyone, so I tried my best to explain the age gap between you and natasha so things made sense.

"Did you know red onion and red cabbage is called 'red' instead of 'purple' because back in the old days, they didn't have enough words for colours so anything purple was defined as red?"
"The mission, Y/N," my mum, Natasha Romanoff, AKA Black Widow, scolded.
I sighed, my attention still focused on my surroundings and my gun directed ahead. "I know, I know. But did you know that the most common internet password is '123456'?"
"Y/N," Wanda, my girlfriend and teammate said with a laugh. "Stop it."
"Yeah, please, quit it," my mum added with an eye roll.
I smiled at Wanda, admiring how beautiful she looked when she hid her laugh. My mum wasn't aware we were dating, so I settled for sending her a playful wink before looking ahead.
I knew I had to focus on the mission – scouting out this abandoned HYDRA den – but it was boring. And it was obviously empty of any threats, so talking was my only pastime.
"Did you know the inventor of Pringles is buried in a Pringles can?" I said after a moment of silence, making my mum stop walking abruptly.
"Okay, you know what? New plan," she said, looking between Wanda and I. "Everyone split up. Take a look around. Stay alert. Keep in contact. Sound good?"
I quirked a brow. "You trying to get rid of me?"
She narrowed her eyes my way. "Yes."
I frowned, making Wanda crack a smile and nudge me in the shoulder.
"You need to learn to have an off button sometimes," she joked, her Sokovian accent shining through despite the voice lessons my mum was giving her. Honestly, I preferred her Sokovian accent to her American one.
"You love it," I teased, giving her a knowing smile, my mother completely unaware of the double meaning.
"Just do as I said," my mum said, already shooing me away. "Wanda, you know what to do. If you see or hear anything suspicious, use your comms."
"Yes, Miss Romanoff," Wanda said obediently, and I tried so hard to hold in laughter at her seriousness. I mean, it was great that she was respectful of my mother and her mentor, but God it was funny to witness.
"Once again, Wanda, you can just call me Nat," my mum said with a wince, trying to be polite. "Go on."
Wanda nodded and walked off, her gun raised as she'd practiced. I grinned at my mum, noticing the way she massaged her temple with mild agitation before her gaze fell to mine.
"Go. Now." She pointed behind me, and I stifled a laugh.
"Bet you love babysitting duty," I joked.
"It's not babysitting if I'm your mother," she pointed out. "Though sometimes, you make me regret not picking the baby instead of you."
"That baby would have been six years old now," I informed her. "If anything, I spared you the whole diaper thing and the outgrowing clothes thing and the– oh yeah! Not being able to speak thing!"
"At least they wouldn't be annoying me with stupid facts," she retorted, hand on her hip. "Now be a good agent and do your job."
I rolled my eyes playfully, knowing she was kidding. Whenever I annoyed her, she'd bring up the story of how it was between twelve year old me and a six-month old baby at the adoption centre. She was worried I'd view her as an older sister or something, hence her choice of adopting the baby instead. But I never did, as she was always way more mature than any twenty-seven year old I'd met or seen at the time. And maybe, I guess, I was really desperate to have a motherly figure, and she just happened to fit the bill.
"Aye, aye, Miss Romanoff," I saluted, making her raise an eyebrow threateningly. "Okay, geez, I'm going."
I wandered off, exploring the dishevelled HYDRA den with full focus. The brief clearly stated it was an abandoned site, but I stayed on alert anyway in case there were stragglers. As usual, I only got given half the facts because of my clearance level, so I knew we were looking for a hard drive, but I had no idea what was on it.
Being a seventeen year old working in S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn't exactly how I saw my life going when I grew up in an orphanage. I honestly never thought I'd get adopted, as rumours spread quite quickly through the orphanage that once you hit double digits, nobody wanted you. So, when the beautiful, red-headed Natasha Romanoff came in, looking for an addition to her family, I felt like the luckiest kid in the world because she chose me of all the kids there.
I definitely didn't expect her to be the Black Widow, nor to teach me everything she knew about espionage, stealth, hand-to-hand combat and much more. She ensured I was multi-lingual like her, preparing me for the many S.H.I.E.L.D. missions I would have to go on. There were times when I absolutely despised her, particularly when she overtrained me or stopped me from seeing my friends. And there were times when I wished she'd never adopted me, hating that I couldn't have a normal teenage experience.
But when it came down to it, I knew I couldn't have asked for a more caring, considerate and compassionate mother. I learnt early on into our relationship that she was unable to have kids of her own, hence her interest in adoption. And honestly speaking? That was probably the worst thing in the world because if anybody deserved a child of their own, it was Natasha Romanoff. I guess, in that sense, I was lucky to have all of her love to myself.
Now that I was older, I came to appreciate how awesome she was, especially when we got to go on missions together and I saw her awesomeness upfront. The only thing was, she was extremely overprotective, so it was difficult to get sent on the dangerous missions. Though, I guess, whenever I did, she was always there to have my back and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
Her overprotectiveness was also a reason why she didn't know about Wanda and I's relationship. Wanda had joined the Avengers a year ago after losing her brother in the battle against Ultron. She was a year older than me, so naturally we were drawn to each other, and before I knew it, our friendship became more. But of course, my mother could never know that. At least not yet.
"Empty here," I mumbled, rounding a corner into an empty room. As I looked through the rubbish on the desk, I continued, "Empty here... and here... and oh, look, here, too. What a surprise!"
"Y/N, I love you, but God help me I will kill you if you don't turn your damn mic off," my mother's voice came through my comms piece in my ear.
For once, I wasn't trying to piss her off, so I smiled sheepishly to myself and replied, "Sorry. Love you."
I could imagine the eye roll she was giving me in response, so continued to look around for the hard drive I saw on the brief. Still, there was nothing here.
My searching was interrupted when I heard a loud crash from a nearby room, like the sound of bricks tumbling against one another. I spun around, eyes widening with concern.
"Y/N? Wanda? What happened?" my mum's voice came through my ear, slightly reassuring me as it wasn't her who was caught up in anything. But then that meant–
"Wanda! What happened?" I replied worriedly, already rushing out of the room and to the source of the sound.
"I'm okay," Wanda's shaky voice came through my ear, which did nothing to ease my concern.
I found the room Wanda was in quite quickly, seeing her sat on the floor as if she'd been pushed. She had a deep cut on her forehead and looked visibly distressed. Running to her side, I kneeled down beside her and cupped her face, studying her head.
"Oh my God, are you okay?" The words tumbled from my mouth so quickly I wasn't sure if it was understandable.
She nodded slowly, accepting my hand and holding it for reassurance. I followed her gaze, seeing a hole in the wall ahead, bricks crumbling and dust beginning to settle. Laying on the floor through the hole and into the next room was a HYDRA soldier, clearly dead from the impact of hitting the bricks.
Wanda's power was magnificent, but hard to control. A year later and she was still learning its limits, but sometimes slip-ups like this happened. I was, admittedly, in awe of her actions.
"I'm sorry, I should have kept him alive like Miss Ro– Nat said," Wanda apologised suddenly, and I looked back at her to see her shaking her head. "He just– he startled me and I didn't know what I was doing until it happened. I thought–"
"Don't apologise," I cut her off, squeezing her hand gently, before looking back to the cut on her forehead. "I'm just glad you're okay. You did good."
Despite my words, I bit my lower lip to contain a frown, worried about her cut.
"Damn."
Wanda and I both turned to the doorway to see my mum, who stopped and took in the sight of the hole in the wall with partial surprise and partial amazement.
"Mum, we need to get her back to the quinjet," I said, pulling her attention away from the wall. She approached me as I said, "She needs medical assistance."
I didn't let go of Wanda's hand as I moved to the side for my mum to take a look. Gently guiding Wanda's chin to the side, she took a closer look at the gash on her forehead, expression showing nothing as usual.
"You'll be okay, honey," she reassured, letting go. Her eyes drifted to our connected hands briefly, but I figured she wouldn't piece anything together, so I didn't let go. She continued, "Let's get out of here. There's no hard drive anyway."
Wanda nodded and my mum and I helped her to stand up, me still not letting go of her hand.
"The hard drive is on him," Wanda spoke suddenly, nodding to the dead HYDRA agent. "I heard his thoughts before I– yeah."
My mum raised her brows with surprise. "Oh. Perfect. Y/N get the drive and let's go."
I pursed my lips, glancing at Wanda with concerned eyes. She gave me a small, reassuring smile, squeezing my hand subtly before letting go.
"Right, yeah," I said, swallowing hard.
I looked back to my mum, who seemed to be studying my expression, so I cleared my throat and left to get the drive. When I retrieved it, I jogged after Wanda and my mum, checking in on her with a small smile, before leading the way to the quinjet.
When we boarded the plane, I hung around Wanda and my mum as she helped the brunette to take a seat in the back. I noticed Wanda's momentary dizziness as she sat down and felt my chest tighten.
"Hey, you okay?" I asked, kneeling before her as my mum got the first aid kit.
Wanda gave me an endearing smile as I swiped at the blood dripping down her forehead.
"I'll be alright," she said, holding my gaze with comforting green eyes before they flickered to behind me.
"Okay, Y/N, stop hanging about and start the plane whilst I stitch Wanda up," my mum said, appearing from behind me and kneeling beside me.
I nodded, glancing between the needle, thread and disinfectant in her hands and Wanda's head. Reluctantly, I got up and left them both to it as I started up the plane and got us in the air. Once we were in the clear, I flicked on autopilot before heading back to Wanda and my mum to see how things were going.
"We'll have someone look at it properly when we get back to the tower," my mum was saying to Wanda, who was now stitched up and wearing a small bandage, "but it'll hold up for now." With a playful smile, she added, "You're not dying on me just yet."
Wanda cracked a smile and whilst I appreciated how lovely it was to see their closeness in a way I never usually saw, I was still troubled by her injury. Logically, I knew she'd be okay, but it never felt good to see her injured.
"Plane is on autopilot," I announced, making my presence known. My eyes never left Wanda's bandage as I asked, "Everything okay here?"
"You need to calm down," my mum joked, making me look her way. "It's not that serious. Just some stitches."
I smiled awkwardly, but I knew it was much more than that.
"Yeah, relax, it's not a big deal," Wanda added playfully.
Her eyes met mine and I knew she was communicating the same thing through her gaze, holding a seriousness that wasn't able to be shared verbally because of my mum's presence. I tilted my head, giving her a knowing look; she knew I was aware of how big a deal it was. All I wanted to do was give her a hug and kiss and not leave her side until she felt better. And she knew that.
"I'm gonna go fly the plane," my mum said suddenly, and I almost forgot she was standing there until she spoke up. "We'll get back to base quicker..."
I glanced at her, mildly confused at her sudden change of expression. She headed to the front of the quinjet, leaving Wanda and I alone.
"Seriously though, you should relax," Wanda said, sounding like she did when it was just her and I and nobody else. She had an amused smile on her lips as she watched me worry. "I'm fine. All stitched up."
I licked my lips, sulking, as I dragged myself over to the seat beside her. She laced our fingers together, pressing a kiss to the top of my hand before facing me with an easygoing smile.
"I'm fine," she repeated gently, lovingly, sweetly.
I offered her a small smile, before leaning forward to press a kiss to her bandage. "I know. Just don't worry me like that. Especially in front of my mum. I can't take it."
"It's cute," she noted, amusement returning. "It means a lot to know someone cares."
My shoulders relaxed. "I care too much. So, please don't test that."
She laughed and I felt my heart flutter in my chest, never getting used to the sound.
"I promise not to," she said, looking up at me through her lashes.
I leaned my head on her shoulder and kept ahold of her hand, staying with her until we arrived back at base. My mum flew us the whole way back, only coming to get us once we landed. I knew I should have left Wanda's side as to not raise suspicion with my mum, but I couldn't find it in myself to do so. I just hoped she would interpret it as two concerned friends rather than her daughter having a secret girlfriend.
"You should head to the medical wing to get checked out properly," my mum said once we were back at the tower, looking to Wanda.
"Yeah," I agreed a little too eagerly. "I'll go with you."
My mum gave me a curious look. "I mean, that's not necessary."
Wanda must have sensed my eagerness, as she said, "I'd appreciate the company, actually. I don't mind."
She shot me a subtle smile, eyes bright with reassurance.
"I'm happy to accompany you, Wanda," my mum offered, and I felt my mouth go dry.
"It's okay, mum," I said suddenly, making her look to me with pursed lips. "You can go debrief and I'll make sure Wanda is cool with everything."
Glancing between us, my mum finally nodded. "I see. I guess I'll see you both later then." She paused, looking between us once more, before adding, "You did good today. Both of you."
I looked down to my shoes as Wanda shot her a grateful smile. She walked away, leaving us be, and I immediately intertwined my fingers with Wanda's as the two of us headed to the medical wing.
"You may as well write desperate on your forehead," she teased with a beautiful smile.
"So funny," I said sarcastically, though a smile of my own was present. "Let's just get you checked out."
"If it means you'll stop pouting, then sure."
"Real jokester you are. Hilarious, honestly."
Her laughter surrounded me like a warm hug and I could have listened to it forever.
Since our mission together, I noticed the distance my mum was putting between her and I, and I had no idea why. I thought I was overthinking it and seeing things that weren't there, so I didn't follow up with it until one evening.
It was a rare occurrence for all of the Avengers to be at the tower at once, so when they were, we'd all have a 'family' dinner for some normalcy. Only, this time, I noticed how strange my mum was acting whenever I spoke to her. She'd either act super dismissive or give one word answers to my questions – once again, I wasn't sure if I was seeing things.
After dinner, everyone went their separate ways and Wanda and I stayed in the living-area to watch some TV. Though it was playing, the volume was lowered and neither of us were watching it. We were just talking about random stuff and enjoying each other's company.
"Okay, how about this one?" I said to Wanda, turning so I was facing her, a grin on my lips. "What did the clock do when it was hungry?"
As with all of my other attempts at making Wanda laugh, she stared at me with an amused smile and a quirked brow.
"Say it...," I encouraged, motioning for her to speak with my hand.
She sighed. "Okay, what did the clock do when it was hungry?" Mumbling, she added, "Even though clocks don't eat..."
I slapped her leg playfully. "Sshhh, you'll ruin the joke. And the answer is, they go back four seconds!"
Wanda didn't laugh, but she seemed entertained as she hid a smile. "Seriously?"
"Because of the number 'four' and the word 'for'," I explained. "C'mon, that's a good one!"
"D'you think you're funny?" she asked, eyeing me playfully. "Because you're not."
I shrugged, playing it off like I wasn't fussed. "I mean, I don't know about that... how about now?"
Before she could question me, I moved forward and began to tickle her sides, watching as she squirmed with laughter.
"Stop it!" she shouted, but her smile was as wide as ever as she was unable to stifle her laughter. "P-please! Y/N!"
"But you said I wasn't funny!" I retorted with a grin, practically straddling her as she attempted to push me off her. "I'm just checking if you still think that!"
Wanda was crying now, tears escaping the corners of her eyes as she continued to laugh. "I'm s-sorry! Y/N, stop!"
Before I could think how to respond, the doors to the living-area opened and in walked Steve Rogers AKA Captain America, a confused expression on his face as he saw me sat on Wanda.
"Hey, ladies," he greeted, raising an eyebrow. "You both good?"
I pulled my hands away from Wanda and breathed out, still smiling as I glanced down at her. She blew a strand of hair from her eyes and glared at me playfully.
"Yeah, just talking," I answered Steve, before being thrown off Wanda and to the floor with a thud.
"Just Y/N harassing me as usual," Wanda corrected, and I sat up to see her sitting up, too, fixing her hair.
Steve chuckled as he headed to the fridge in the connected kitchen. Wanda helped me back onto the couch, nudging me in the side as a response to the tickle fest, before leaning on me and stretching her legs across the couch.
"So, hey, what's up with you and your mum?" Steve asked as I continued to annoy Wanda by flicking her face.
"What do you mean?" I asked, not looking up as I grinned down at Wanda, watching as her eyes glowed red threateningly.
"Don't make me hurt you," she said teasingly, lifting a hand and summoning her powers, red wisps of energy becoming present.
I stopped flicking her and intertwined her hand in mine, watching as her eyes faded to its usual colour.
"She just seemed distant at dinner," Steve continued.
I looked up and saw he was leaning against the counter with a water bottle in his hand. Wanda continued to stretch, practically on top of me, probably to annoy me as I had been doing with her. I moved her hands out of my face as I nodded to Steve.
"So, you saw it too? She was being off, right?" I asked him, glad I wasn't just imagining things.
He nodded, gulping his water, before saying casually, "Definitely. What did you do? Finally tell her about you and Wanda?"
It took me a second to realise what he'd said, but when I did, my eyes widened and I spluttered out a terrible response. "What– what about Wanda and I?"
I glanced at Wanda as she began to sit up properly. She looked more confused than panicked.
"You know, that you're together," Steve said like it was obvious.
I cleared my throat. "What? Why would you think that?"
Steve smiled with confusion. "Wait, so you're not? But I thought–" He paused, pulling a face. "No, you are! Everybody thinks you are!"
I shrugged it off, though inside I was panicking. "I mean, even if that was the case, why do you think my mum knows?"
Steve nodded knowingly. "She's been off with you all night. And then I caught up with her after dinner and she wasn't in a very talkative mood. Just mumbled something like 'new girl, her age, pretty, nice, should have seen it coming'. I assumed she was talking about Wanda."
Heat crept up my neck with embarrassment and when I looked to Wanda, I saw her cheeks dusting a red colour, similar to the energy she could summon. She looked as flustered as I felt.
"Has your mum been okay with you before today?" Steve asked, trying to be helpful.
I chewed on my lower lip and shook my head. "Not since we got back from our last mission..."
Steve scrunched his face with sympathy. "Oof. You should probably talk to her then. You know how much she hates secrets."
I groaned internally. "Thanks for the reminder."
He saluted playfully, his stupid smile on his stupid face, before leaving Wanda and I alone again.
"Well, looks like she knows," I said to Wanda, sinking into the couch with hopes it would swallow me forever.
"She might not," Wanda tried to make me feel better, resting a hand on my leg. "It could be something else."
I gave her a knowing look. "She has to know. It's the only thing that makes sense. You heard Steve."
Wanda sighed, sinking into the couch beside me. "Yeah..." She glanced at me and I looked at her as she said, "I did tell you to tell her."
I forced a smile. "Gee, Wanda, that was helpful. Thanks."
Wanda rolled her eyes before leaning her head on my shoulder. "Sorry..."
I rested my hand on hers. "It's okay, sorry. I just– she's gonna be really mad that I kept this from her."
"Yeah, why did you do that again?" Wanda asked questioningly.
I massaged the tension between my eyebrows. "Because she's too overprotective. It gets too much to handle sometimes... Take my last boyfriend for example. He was some tool that cheated on me and, oh boy, my mum wanted to kill him. I had to physically restrain her from doing so."
"I don't blame her," Wanda quipped, a hint of bitterness in her voice.
I smiled a little, squeezing her hand. "I know... she ended up slashing his tyres and egging his car without telling me. But instead of egging the outside, she broke into it and egged the inside. A thoughtful take on a classic, I must admit."
Wanda laughed, her whole body shaking with pure amusement as she listened to the story. I couldn't help but smile myself, remembering it like it was yesterday. Definitely a fun time.
"I appreciated it, don't get me wrong," I added, smile fading. "I just didn't want that to happen again. I wanted to enjoy our relationship without anyone spying on us, y'know? But now she's gonna be super angry."
Wanda let go of my hand and rolled on top of me, leaning down on my chest so she could look me in the eyes. I wrapped my arms loosely around her to keep her steady.
"She only wants the best for you," Wanda told me gently. "You have to tell her you're sorry. Explain why you did what you did, but hear her out, too. She's your mum. Caring too much isn't a bad thing."
I groaned, knowing she was right. She smiled reassuringly, patting my chest.
"You get the caring too much thing from her by the way," she added, before leaning forward and pressing a haste kiss to my lips. "It's okay though because I love it."
I smiled, never really seeing it like that. Raising my hand, I brushed my thumb over the small bandage on her head; her injury was still healing, but she didn't let it bother her. Very Wanda-like.
"Thanks," I mumbled, meeting her gaze. "You always say the right thing."
"Which is why I'm going to tell you to get up and go to your mum," she ordered playfully, pushing herself off me and holding out her hand.
I let her pull me up before straightening up and taking a deep breath. Wanda was right. I just needed to be open and explain my piece. It would be fine.
So, it wasn't fine.
When I entered my mum's living quarters, she wasn't the happiest to see me. In fact, she actively turned her body to face her TV when I came through the door.
"Hey," I started with a small smile, fighting the nerves in my stomach. "Can we, er, can we talk?"
She grabbed the cushion on the couch next to her, hugging it to her chest. Her eyes didn't leave the TV, but the space next to her was free, so I took that as an opportunity to close the door and sit beside her.
The news was playing on the TV – headlines, I think – and they were talking about a new elected congressman in New York.
"Seriously? The news? Even in your free time?" I asked playfully, hoping it would lighten the mood.
She didn't even glance my way as she muttered, "I like to know what's happening in the world."
Losing my smile, I straightened up and cleared my throat. "Right, right..."
It went quiet as the TV played in the background and my mum said absolutely nothing. I grabbed the other cushion on the couch and hugged it to my chest, similar to her. It was a nervous habit that I picked up from, well, from her.
"You said you wanted to talk?" she reminded me. "So, talk."
Having the Black Widow as your mother wasn't something anyone could get used to. She could be the most caring, loving, protective person in the world, but she could also appear quiet, intimidating and ruthless like the trained assassin she was. Not the greatest combination when trying to open up to her.
"I think I know what you're thinking," I started, pinching my hand to distract from my growing anxiety.
Without hesitation, she bent forward to grab the TV remote and turned it off before turning to me with sad eyes.
"That's where you're wrong," she said calmly, and it was way worse than her yelling. I would have preferred her yelling to be honest. The disappointment in her voice was much worse. "You always assume you know what I'm thinking. What I'm going to say or do."
I avoided her eyes guiltily. "Mum, look, I know that I should have told you the truth. And I know how angry you are, but–"
"I'm not angry, Y/N!" she shouted, finally, standing up off the couch and creating space between us.
I winced. "You sound angry."
She put her hands on her hips, looking down to her feet and taking a breath. Her voice at normal volume, she said, "I'm upset. You– you didn't trust me enough to tell me the truth. Instead, I had to put it together when you acted how you did with Wanda after that mission and..." She paused, sighing. "Forget it."
"No, keep going," I pleaded, the guilt piercing through me sharply. "You're right."
She swallowed hard, glancing at me with glassy eyes. "I wouldn't have done anything. I know I have in the past, but this is Wanda we're talking about. I've been her mentor for a year. I care about her and– and– she's good. And she's good for you."
Okay, I definitely misread this whole thing because now my mum was upset, on the verge of tears, and I was the arsehole responsible for it.
"I'm so sorry," I said, standing up and moving forward to hold her arms. "I should have trusted you. I mean, it wasn't even about trust. I was just scared you'd react badly. But it wrong of me to assume that."
She frowned, looking down to her shoes. "I know I can be tough sometimes, but it's only because I care."
I thought back to Wanda's words and gave her a small smile. "I know. I get it from you."
"I am happy for you, you know," she said, glancing at me petulantly.
My expression softened. "Thank you. That means a lot coming from you."
Without another word, she pulled me in for a motherly hug, making me close my eyes and relax in her arms. I still felt horrible for making her feel like I couldn't trust her when it was anything but that.
"I'm sorry," I repeated quietly into her shoulder.
"I forgive you," she said, before pulling away and giving me a small smile. "Now tell me. You're happy?"
The thought of being with Wanda gave me butterflies and I couldn't help but smile in response. With a nod, I said, "I am."
She nodded, squeezing my shoulders gently before fully letting go. "Good. I'm glad you've got her... I know you can take care of yourself, but she's strong, too. She can look out for you when I'm not around anymore."
I shoved her in the shoulder. "Don't joke about that. She isn't replacing you and you're not going anywhere, you hear me?"
She laughed, nodding. "Not yet anyway. But sure, okay."
I relaxed and gave her a nervous smile. "So, you wanna meet Wanda? Like, as my girlfriend and not your student?"
She rolled her eyes playfully. "If I must."
I smiled widely, grabbing her hand and leading her to the door. "She loves you a lot, y'know. She wanted me to tell you about us as soon as we got together. She hated lying to you."
"Yeah because she knows that lying is wrong," she teased me, making me groan loudly. With a chuckle, she added, "I love her, too. She's definitely something."
"Hell yeah she is," I said in agreement, grinning to my mum as I dragged her to the living-area where I last left Wanda.
On the way, we passed Steve in the hall, who took notice of the smiles on our faces and nodded knowingly.
"Glad to see you worked it out," he said supportively.
"Thanks for the heads up," I told him gratefully as we passed him.
When we reached the living-area, I saw Wanda sat on the couch watching TV. When she saw who entered, she straightened up instantly, moving to stand and unsure what else to say or do. It was cute, the respect she had for my mum.
"Did you– I– She told you?" she stumbled over her words, starting to speak to me but eventually looking to my mum.
My mum glanced at me before meeting Wanda's nervous eyes. "She did."
Wanda licked her lips anxiously. "And you're okay with it...? Angry...? Wanna kill me...?"
I watched my mum, nodding encouragingly to her. She sighed before giving Wanda a small smile.
"No killing will be necessary," she reassured my girlfriend. "Unless, of course, you break my daughter's heart. Then in which case, I may have to find you when you're sleeping."
"Mum!" I complained, face falling into my hands with embarrassment.
"I'm just being truthful," my mum said with seriousness, before looking to Wanda expectantly.
Wanda surprisingly took it well, probably used to my mum's personality after training with her for a year. "I understand completely, Nat and I'll hold you to that. I have no intention of breaking Y/N's heart."
A rare, genuine smile appeared on my mother's lips. "I know you don't. Just–" She paused, glancing at me. "Keep her safe, yeah? She's a bit stupid sometimes."
Wanda laughed as my mum smiled with amusement, like it was an inside joke.
"Right here, you know," I reminded them with a wave of my hand.
They only rolled their eyes.
"I will," Wanda promised my mum. "Thank you for being okay with this."
My mum nodded, giving us both a final smile and once over, before saying, "I'll leave you to it. Goodnight."
Wanda and I bid our goodnights, watching her leave before a giant sigh of relief escaped our lips.
"You feel better?" Wanda asked me, grabbing my hand and tugging me to the couch.
She let me fall on her chest easily, snuggling up to her as she wrapped an arm around me and held me close. I inhaled her perfume, a familiar and comforting scent, as my head rested in the crook of her neck.
"I feel better," I answered, closing my eyes and letting her intertwine our fingers.
"I believe this is the part where you say I was right," she prompted, a hint of amusement in her words.
"Don't make me hurt you," I mumbled, making her laugh quietly beneath me.
"You're lucky I love you," she said, kissing the top of my head. "I guess opposites do attract. You're the stupid one and I'm the clever one."
"Wanda?"
"Yeah?"
"Fuck off."
She laughed again, and even though it was at me, I couldn't help the content smile from spreading on my lips.

Anon Reqs: @aaron-despair:  Hi!^^ Can I request the dinner with the first I love you for Natasha, pls?
Yes I still have one or two Valentine’s request in my inbox 😂 Yes I am writing them, please enjoy!! Thank you for requesting hun!! I actually got two requests for this one ❤💐
————————–
“You hate Valentine’s day” Clint’s  voice cut through the soft sound of blistering wind, like the occasional bird chirp.
Natasha, perched somewhere in the trees, watching for anything out of the ordinary or anything that might prove suspicious, “I do not hate Valentine’s day,” she spoke; though unable to help the way her lips curled up, paired with a hint of disgust that ebbed into her words.
Was it disgust at the blasphemous accusation or at the aforementioned holiday?
“Tasha. Last year you asked me why Laura and I were even celebrating Valentine’s day…” He offered.
“So?” She hummed as if that was proof of nothing.

Just this once
Summary: Reader has nightmares and finds comfort with a fellow avenger. Hurt/Comfort type thing. Short and sweet <3
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x Reader
Warnings: slight angst but not between characters
Word count: ~1100
A/N: Likes, reblogs, and comments are much appreciated <3 All mistakes are my own!
Tumblr media
You woke with a jolt, night shirt soaked with sweat and chest pounding as you take in your surroundings.
Sheets, bed, clock, room- you were in your room, you were safe.
Safe- it sometimes felt like a foreign concept to you.
Sleep was never something that had come easy to you, night terrors controlling your body and mind and keeping you awake late at night into the early hours of the morning.
The price of being an Avenger? None of you come with a clean past.
You closed your eyes and took five deep breaths, thinking back to the countless exercises your therapist had taught you as you brought your restless mind back into your body.
You opened your eyes, grabbing the glass of water on the night stand beside you and downing the rest as you sipped out of the bed.
You peeled the dampened night shirt from your body and put on a different one, an oversized ACDC shirt you had stolen from Tony.
Grabbing your empty water cup you slipped from your room and moved towards the kitchen to fill it up and make some tea to calm your nerves.
You made your way through the darkened halls of the tower seamlessly, having memorized the way from all the restless nights since you’ve been here.
You find your way to the kitchen, filling the kettle with water and putting it on to boil as you run your hands through your unruly hair. You lay your head down on the countertop, waiting for the water to boil.
“Rough night?” Says a soft voice from behind you, startling you and making your bones jump out of your skin.
“Jesus Nat, you scared the shit out of me!” You whisper-yelled at her, but you had a smile on your face as you turned to face the woman. She returned it, mouth quirking into an unapologetic smirk.
“Sorry, quiet steps. Life of an ex assassin and all..” she teases, moving to pour what looked to be a now-cold cup of coffee into the sink.
You looked at the clock- it was 2:24 am, was she still drinking coffee?
You supposed you couldn’t blame her, your sleep schedule was no better than hers. Thats how your friendship came to be, unlikely as it was. You were both up late into the night, meeting so often in this very kitchen that you decided it would be nicer time spent keeping each other company.
It became almost a routine, though you were relieved when occasionally the other wouldn’t show up because that meant they were actually getting some rest.
The sleep-deprived conversations brought you two closer, telling each other stories and secrets that the rest of the team members might never know.
“You seem extra tense tonight” she remarks, a slight frown on her face as she leans against the counter.
“I guess you could say that” you reply, giving her a tight lipped almost-smile and shrug of your shoulders that held more words than what you actually said.
She nodded her head in understanding, “Do you want to talk about it?” she asked.
“Not really” you respond, sighing as the kettle squeals and you move to take it off of the heat.
Her eyes follow you as she seems to think over her next response carefully.
“Is there anything I can do to help?” she asks, eyes sincere and full of an emotion you couldn’t quite name.
You paused for a moment, this is usually when you would say no and you would make tea and sit in silence or make small talk about everything and nothing- but tonight you didn’t want that. Tonight you felt alone and anxious and so tired and you just wanted- needed even the smallest semblance of comfort.
You would blame it on the exhaustion, you would blame it on the nightmares, you would find some excuse for it in the morning but all you could think of right now was how comforting it would feel to be held by someone- no, not someone, held by her.
Your feet moved before your brain, taking two long strides before your arms wrapped around her shoulders and your face was buried in the crook of her neck.
She took a sharp intake of breath and you felt her tense up- this was new territory for the both of you and you realize you must have surprised her. Before you could go to move away her strong arms slowly came up to wrap around you, holding you gently. You stay there like that for a while, seeking comfort in another through touch in a way you never had before. You were interested in her, of course you were- how could you not be? Gorgeous, strong, protective over you during missions and you never let yourself hope she could feel the same way, but now..
But that wasn’t what this was about, this was about so much more than the feelings bubbling at the surface and you both knew it.
You weren’t sure how long you stayed there, wrapped up in each others touch- it could have been a minute, it could have been 10. Much too soon fir your liking Nat hesitantly moves away, her hands trailing from your back and down your arms to hold your own hands gently. Her eyes search your face, trying to find an answer to an unspoken question before she seemingly makes up her mind. She dropped one of your hands and tugged the other with her as she walked the two of you back to her room.
“Nat- what..?” you weren’t sure what exactly she was wanting from you.
The hand not holding yours came to brush a knuckle lightly over the dark purple circle under your eye, a reminder of all your tossing and turning through sleepless nights.
“You need sleep. Just this once, come lay down” she walked over to the bed pulling the comforter back and sliding in before opening up her arms for you to join. You hesitate for just a moment, but you were too tired to think of all the reasons this was a bad idea. You make your way across the room, sliding into the bed and curling up next to the woman. Her arms slips around you, holding you gently as your head rests against her chest, listening to her heart beat. You try to take steady breaths to calm your own rapidly beating heart, the close proximity something you never let yourself imagine before.
Her hand runs through strands of your hair, her warm breath against your forehead as you feel the steady rise and fall of her chest.
You let the even sound lull you to sleep, sweet thoughts in your head of the sweet woman holding you through. In the morning you could figure out what all of this meant, for now there was just the two of you in this moment.

Hello! If you do requests could you do a Wanda Maximoff X (female) reader! Where the reader is a mechanic and is fixing a car or bike one day. And Wanda comes to visit her and sees her fixing the car/bike and is just a blushing mess and the reader finds it amusing :)
(Sorry if that was confusing)
THIS. this. i love this, i need this. This is what love is, this is the reason I write. I love women. anyway-
“Heya, love!” You called out, hearing Wanda humming as she entered your garage. You were bent over the hood of a car, Wanda gazed at you taking you in.
You turned around suddenly, and Wanda blushed.
“Enjoying the show?”
You wiped grease covered hands on the dirty rag tossed over your shoulder, smears of black covering your white shirt and your trousers, that hung dangerously low on your hips.
Wanda averted her gaze and you chuckled, turning back to the vintage firebird you were working on. With your back turned, Wanda could watch you freely. Her eyes raking over your figure, skilled hands fidgeting and twisting and turning, grease and oil blackening slender fingers. Every once in a while you would point to a tool sitting on your beat up worktop and Wanda was more than happy to hand it to you, getting much closer than needed.
When you would catch Wanda staring, you would shoot her a mischievous wink. Wanda would find anything else to settle her gaze on, blushing like mad. You would laugh softly and turn back to your beloved car.
“When will you stop blushing?” You teased after catching her staring for the umpteenth time.
Wanda hummed and hid her face in her hands. You laughed, loudly and freely, it rumbled in your chest and bounced of the walls of the shop.
“Oh. c’mon, Lovey. Don’t hide that pretty little face from me,” you pulled her wrists away from her face and Wanda blushed even harder. You kissed the tip of her nose. “Cutie pie.”
Wanda nearly went mad. She scurried out of your grasp and fled from your garage, yelling out a rushed goodbye.
“See you tomorrow!” You yelled after her.
God, you loved that woman.

F*cking up the friendship
Word count: 3501
Genre: Angst and fluff
Pairing: Wanda x Natasha x fem!reader
Warnings: Swearing, alcohol (let me know if I need to add any)
Summary: You sometimes forget Nat and Wanda are dating each other but when they go off on a date you feel sad and add alcohol to the mix, unable to fully control your words around them when they come back.
A/n: I’ve been in a huge wandanat x reader mood recently so you’re probably going to get spammed with a lot of these. Originally this was supposed to be a 1k words get together fluff fic that was suggested to me but then I added angst and other stuff so I decided to make the fluffy get together fic separately. Anyways I hope you all enjoy this, I spent hours yesterday writing so I could finish it in one day.

PepperNat x Reader for 37?
Prompt: “Then lie to me” Word Count: 751 Warning: None A/N: I honestly have no idea what this is but I hope you enjoy it either way. I did write it at like 1am and did not read it again so... it is what it is lol
Pepper knew that both you and Natasha had to put yourselves in danger to do your job, but that didn’t mean that she liked it. Another thing she hated, was that either you and Natasha, or sometimes both, would have to leave suddenly without much notice. While she understood why it was important she hated that she had to watch you two leave, not always sure if you would come home safe.
The three of you had been planning a vacation for your 5 year anniversary, you were all excited to be able to get away and spend time together without any distractions.
“Shit,” You grumbled when you read the text from Maria.
“You better not be able to tell me you have to leave.” Pepper groaned.
“I can’t do that.” You said sheepishly.
“Then lie to me.” She said with a frown.
“I do not have a mission that I have to leave ASAP for.” You said, wincing at the glare that came from Pepper.
“We are leaving for our trip tomorrow.” Pepper told you as if you weren’t already aware of that.
“I know,” You sighed, “it hopefully won’t be a lengthy one.”
“That’s never the case.”
“We have to go,” Nat stepped into the room, she paused when she caught sight of the look that Pepper had on her face.
“You’re leaving too?” Her face only fell more.
“I’m sorry, love” Natasha sighed.
“It’s always something.” She sighed, “I am used to it at this point. It’s been 5 years.”
You winced at that comment. You knew you really couldn’t help it but you felt so badly that you were forced to leave and possibly miss a trip you were all looking forward to, but you felt terrible either way.
“We’ll try our best to be back before tomorrow.” Natasha told her.
“And if you don’t? Am I just meant to go on our vacation by myself?” She asked.
“We’ll meet you there if it takes longer.” You tried. “Promise we will do our best to take care of it quickly.”
She sighed but nodded, “Just be safe.”
“We will.” You promised, giving her a quick kiss before grabbing your to-go bag. You and Natasha headed out together, sharing a look about how upset you could tell Pepper was. There was definitely going to be some making up to do on your part when you got back.
Luckily you were able to keep your promise, the mission really hadn’t taken that long. You were closer to Italy so you both decided to just head to your vacation first. You sent Pepper a quick text to let me know to head out without you and that you would be meeting her there.
You worked on cooking dinner so that when Pepper arrived, you would have a meal ready, while you did that, Natasha worked on both your mission reports so that you wouldn’t have any work to distract you. You had a night of apologizing to do and neither Nat or you needed to make her more upset by having work to do.
You had also already taken care of all of the luggage that had arrived ahead of you so that Pepper wouldn’t have to. It was something she usually took care of, but you didn’t want her to have to worry about it.
You heard the door open and smiled as you looked up and saw Pepper entering the room.
You were shocked when she let out a small squeal. Her hand flying up to her chest. "What the hell!"
You gave her a confused look. "I told you we were meeting you here."
"No, you told me to head here by myself and you'd meet me here. Implying that your mission was taking longer then expecting." She told you.
Natasha sent you a look. "I told you to make sure she knew we were going to be here."
"I thought I did!" You defended yourself. "Well, I guess surprise!" You tried to give her a cheeky smile.
Both Pepper and Nat rolled their eyes at you. "How was your flight?" Nat asked her.
"Not too bad." She said, "how was the mission?"
"Not too bad." Nat replied.
"I am glad you two are here" She said with a smile that you both returned.
"So are we."
"And we both can promise you two uninterrupted weeks. Our phones are turned off and Maria has promised to leave us alone." You added.
That got you another smile. "Good."

as you got older, the topic of your sexuality seemed to become your main focus. you were often confused about your feelings toward both genders and you never knew where you stood with it all so when you and wanda began hanging out, you never gave much thought about the innocent friendship. it wasn’t until wanda kissed you one night did you realize that you indeed liked her.
you knew that as the time went on and the more your relationship with wanda blossomed into something more serious, you knew you’d have to tell your dad. you had always been the best of friends with him and it felt eerie keeping such a secret from him. wanda often encouraged you yet not rushing you out of the closet.  you couldn’t help the fear that weighed you down, what if he’d look at you completely different?

My Girl
request: none
Natasha Romanoff x Reader
warnings: Steve's a dick, getting captured
words: 1147
a/n: ahhh I love this! It's so cute and I really loved writing it. I hope you like it too :) ( yes I'm productive)
summary: You get captured during a mission and some people worry about you
Tumblr media
You never meant to fuck up the mission. Especially not because it was so simple. Storm the base, get the code, and then get out. Not something that was impossible. In fact, everything went well at first. You were in, divided up into the different compartments and started searching them. But then you lost your headseat and things started to get complicated.
-
(Flashback)
“Oh shit! “ you cursed when the headphone fell down. The noise drew the attention of the agents working behind closed doors to you and within 5 minutes you were completely surrounded”.Look who we have here. Y/ N L/N. What an honor” you only snort when you hear his words. You didn’t expect anything else from him, even after all these years. This is where you used to be stationed right before Fury found and recruited you.
That was seven years ago now, and you’d never been naive enough to believe that HYDRA forgot what you did. You only hoped they would. "It’s nice to see you again, Agent Spark”, a funny sparkle covered his eyes at those words. ,, Much has apparently not changed in recent years. Well, to be honest, I was really hoping you’d at least learn something. That’s not how it looks”.
"Oh yes?” you ask challengingly and intently tense. “Yes. Unfortunately, you still fall for the same trick after 13 years. " Your eyes get big when you notice your mistake, but then it’s too late and you’re lying on the ground, hands behind crossed your back and a foot on your neck.
-
Now you’re sitting in a cell in the middle of nowhere because a “local station near New York”, as Spark so lovingly called it, was apparently not enough. With your back leaning against a wall, your gaze goes out rigidly while you try to ignore the small electric shocks emanating from the gravity sensors around your wrists.
What an irony of fate. Because it was you who had just developed this one. Only with the intention of using them on others. And not on you. What was the point of those things? They blocked a person’s magical powers and instead, as already mentioned, sent very unpleasant electric shocks through their bodies.
Before you can sink any further into your thoughts, the door opens and Spark steps in. When he sees you sitting on the floor he laughs quietly, closes the door again and settles down opposite you. Annoyed, you turn your gaze to him, moisturize your lips and ask: “What do you want? “ He looks at you with an undefined expression on his face and then lowers his head. “I think you can imagine that. " Silently you shake your head. Yeah, you could’ve guessed it. No, he wouldn’t get it. Your facial expression apparently spoke volumes, which is why after another 5 minutes he got up and left the room without giving you another look. Before he closed the door, however, he turned around again
"One thing I can tell you: We will have a lot of fun” A smile creeped on your face. “Oh yes, we will”, you think. Because as clever as Spark may think he is, noticing that he used the older gravity sensors instead of the new ones, wasn’t something he seemed to know. But you did. And the model was just the one whose blueprint you knew inside out.
-
“You got what? ! "
“Listen, this was all unplanned and-” Natasha interrupted him shaking his head. “That’s all nice and great for you, but do you have any idea what kind of hatred these people have for Y/N?"
Steve looked at the redheaded woman in question. “No...? I mean, HYDRA doesn’t like us either way. "
Disenerved, your girlfriend drops on a chair. “Y/N used to work for them. A very long time. And betrayal is not really common there, and well, also not accepted . "
“What?" Steve had jumped up. “She worked for these guys? Voluntary? ! "
“Yes”. Now Fury stepped in. “But she’s proven herself over the past few years, and I totally agree with Agent Romanoff. when she says we have to get Y/N out of there”
“Can’t she do it herself? What else does she have her awesome powers for? “ At these words, Steve raised his eyebrows in disgust. Two seconds later, he banged against a wall, Natasha standing in front of him with clenched fists. It was she who bent her head close to his ear and whispered dangerously quietly:
"If you dare question my girlfriend again, you have more than just one small problem. Understand?“ with that she straightened herself up again, brushed her top smoothly, and then said audibly to all: “It’s not that simple. Y/N once told me that she, still in her time at HYDRA, developed weapons that suppress the powers of each person. I can tell that they will use it on her." Just as Natasha was about to proceed with the plan, she heard a “Payback is a Bad Bitch”, probably not intended for her ears, and shortly afterwards a blond, angry man flew through the window with a loud bang. Unmoved, Nat turned back to her friends and began to discuss the upcoming mission with them.
---
It had been easier than you expected. You cracked the Gravi sensors relatively quickly, as did the locked door. Things got trickier with the agents in the hallway, but after some time you managed to do that without much drama. Now you were on your way back to the compound, hoping inside that the others were still there.
You didn’t like to imagine their faces when they would find out that they had started a rescue operation for no real reason. But when you arrived there your worries disappeared. People were running around hectically, and you had trouble getting to the conference room. There were loud voices coming out of it and when you opened the door, the first thing you saw was broken glass and paper lying around. In the following silence, you gently close the door and turn your head. “Uhm hi?"
Then life seems to come back to your friends and they all rush towards you at the same time.
“What happened? "
“Why is there blood everywhere? "
“Are you hurt? ! "
Soothing, you raise your arms and desperately try to explain something. “Long story. But I’m doing great and I’m glad to be here again”
Tony looks at them skeptically and then asks: “How did you get out of there? Nat mentioned such things the-”
,, Yes, they did. But fool is on them, they forgot that I developed them”
Now Natasha’s smiling. “That’s my girl”, she whispers and pulls you into a kiss.
In the background you hear Tony shocked, “Wait the two are together? I guess that explains a lot. “ and you have to smile involuntarily. You two actually never made a big secret out of it and it was funny how many didn’t know it anyway.

Her Blessing
Wanda Maximoff X Fem!Romanoff!Reader
Prompt: You and Wanda have been dating for a long time now and Wanda wants to take the next steps by asking for Nat’s blessing.
Tumblr media
A/N: Impulsive writing #5000 :). Also I saw this off of the last Romanoff prompt by @xxxtwighlightaxelxxx and I was like about to go to bed but my brain was like “hmmm 🤔 ik u just wrote a whole research paper, but wat about writing just one more thing.” And I was like “k.” Again, I’m sorry for the grammatical errors.
Warning: swearing, I don’t own Marvel.
________________________
Wanda knows you had been through hell and you know she has, too. Maybe that’s what made the two of you fall in love with each other. Maybe that’s why the two of you clicked so instantly the first time you both met.
Now here Wanda was, nervously thinking of how to ask Natasha for a blessing. But it seems that Nat could sense the Sokovian’s presence.
“What’s wrong, Wanda?” She asks without turning away from the TV.
Wanda knows that Natasha would say yes, but that doesn’t mean the nerves wouldn’t be there. Plus, this was your mom, the scariest woman alive by Tony’s standards.
Wanda walks over to the other side of the couch before taking seat. “I want to ask you something important.”
That was enough for Natasha to snap out of her attention from the TV. Shutting it off, she gives her full attention now growing concerned for Wanda. “What’s on your mind?”
“It’s Y/N.” She says. “She means so much to me and I don’t know where I would be without her. I love her so much and she’s made my life so much better. I can’t imagine what it would be like to leave her for so long-“
A smile instantly spreads Natasha’s face amidst Wanda’s rambling. She knew where this was going the moment Wanda had opened her mouth. Natasha knew this day was coming at some point and she was more than happy to watch her daughter marry off to the woman who loves her just the same.
Natasha places a a hand on Wanda’s, stopping her from rambling as she could clearly see that Wanda was on the verge of collapsing from nerves. “I give you my blessing,” she says.
Wanda takes one deep breath.m as she feels happiness surge in every inch of her body. Impulsively, Wanda hugs Nat, and both women cry into each other’s shoulders from tears of happiness.
Natasha tells Wanda, “I know how much you mean to each other, and there’s no doubt in my mind that Y/N wouldn’t say no. I’ve known Y/N since the day she saved my life in that cave all those years ago. I’ve never seen her so happy until you came along into her life. You two are going to be a great married couple.”
“Thank you, Natasha.”
Instantly the two of them pull away in unison as they hear footsteps coming from down the hall. The mother instinct in Nat and the telepath in Wanda told them it was you.
You walk in both of them, “oh there you are, Wanda. Hi, mom,” you acknowledge innocently.
“You need anything, Y/N?” Nat asks.
“I was looking for Wanda. She said we were going on a small trip together today. A good way to calm the nerves after that long mission last week,” you explain with a smile.
You miss the glance Natasha gave Wanda as Wanda gets up from the couch. “I was waiting for you. Are you ready now?” She asks.
“Ready as I’ll ever be,” you tell her. “You said the place we’re going to was going to be life changing, whatever that means.”
Natasha laughs. “Oh it’ll definitely be life changing.”
You raise an eyebrow. “You’ve been there before?” You ask.
“No, but I know Tony and Pepper have seen it.” Your mom retorts.
When you were about to question it further, Wanda takes you hand in hers and she presses a kiss to your forehead. “Come on before the day ends.” She tells you.
You smile. “After you, Miss Maximoff.”
As the two of you begin disappearing down the hall, Wanda takes one look at Natasha who mouths her a “goodluck” while pointing at her ring finger. Wanda takes a deep breath, thanking Natasha back with her powers before pulling her attention back to you.
“So is the view really going to be that life changing?” You ask. “I mean the last time a view was life changing was when you walked into the Avengers facility.”
Wanda turns and presses a soft kiss to your lips. Wrapping her arms around your frame as you melt into her touch like you always did. “You trust me?” She asks.
“Always have.”
“Then stop asking questions,” she tells you. You pour in response.
“No fair.”
Wanda laughs as she presses another kiss to your lips. “I love you.”
You sigh happily, “I love you, too.”

You hovered above the city, ears listening for any sign of distress. It was weird being on Earth, but you were starting to enjoy it. You hadn’t been here too terribly long - considering your pod had been trapped in space for quite some time - but maybe that was for the best.
When Kara had found you - another Kryptonian - she’d been overjoyed. She’d immediately taken you under her wing and now you were a superhero like her. It gave her the ability to watch over certain parts of National City while you took over the other half.

Nose Kisses
13th Doctor x Reader
Summary: After she’s regenerated, the Doctor can’t understand why you won’t show her any affection. She misses it, and when she eventually plucks up the courage to ask you why, you finally explain yourself.
Warnings: None
A/N: This was such a cute and fluffy request I just couldn’t resist it. I’ve been ill all day and this has just made me feel 10x better :’)
Tumblr media
Things had changed between you two since she had regenerated.
It had only been a few weeks ago. She was still busy figuring out who this version of her was while simultaneously figuring out who Yaz, Ryan and Graham were. Now it seemed she could add you to that list, despite the fact that you'd been travelling with her for longer than she could remember and she should know every inch of you.
The Doctor had thought it was a temporary thing at first. You had started deliberately distancing yourself from her. You stopped kissing her or hugging her or even holding her hand. It only ever happened when she initiated it, and this regeneration seemed too socially awkward to initiate something as big as a kiss, and so all she'd managed was a quick hug once or twice. You had always reciprocated warmly, but something still felt off.
She couldn't put a finger on what it was.
The strange thing was, you still slept in the same bed. You lay down on your side of the bed every night without any objection and you were perfectly content to lie there next to the Doctor, talking for hours and hours about nothing in particular. The only thing different was you always left a deliberate metre of space between you two and you never reached over to hold her like you used to.
Some nights, when you were sleeping and if she could pluck up the courage, she’d reach across the vast space between you two and simply rest a hand on your waist, wondering why won't you touch me?
She had begun to question if it was her new body. Maybe she wasn’t pretty enough this time around? Maybe it was because she was a woman? She knew about humans and their silly little hang-ups over gender, and she knew that she was no longer the gender you had fallen initially love with.
The starvation of touch worries away at her like a loose tooth, and she craves you in a way she hadn’t in her last regeneration. The Doctor had still loved you back then just as much as she does now, but somehow it feels completely different in this body. Her skin itches and crawls whenever you're near her. She feels naked without you tucked into her side. Every waking moment she’s thinking about you, you, you and how much she misses the way things used to be.
But most of all, she misses the nose kisses.
It's stupid, she knows. She should miss something important, like real kisses against the console or long hugs after narrow escapes or holding you when you'd had a nightmare. But no, what she mourns the most is when you used to take her face in your hands and drop a peck on the tip of her nose, telling her how cute it was. You did it to all her regenerations, through nine, ten, eleven and even twelve who pretended to hate it.
It’s the only thing on her mind tonight, as she lies on her front, head on the pillow and staring at you through strands of blonde hair opposite her. You're on your back, talking animatedly about something as you stare up at the constellations on the ceiling, arms waving about in a way you always do when you're passionate about something.
She just wants you to kiss her.
Quite in voluntarily, tears well in her eyes and she tries to blink them back, but fails pathetically.
"Doctor?" You ask when you glance over at her and see the tears. "Are you okay? I'm sorry I shouldn't have mentioned breaking the custard cream dispen-"
"S'not that." She mumbles, pressing her face into her pillow and wow, this body seems to hate crying even more than the last one, she thinks.
"What is it, love?" You ask, worry painting your face and the pet name makes her stomach twist even more because for some reason you still call her that yet you won't even reach out a comforting hand.
She tilts her head slightly, peaking out to look at you.
"Do you still love me?" She whispers.
"What?" You look surprised at the question.
"Ever since I regenerated, you won't touch me, you won’t come near me, I-"
"Doctor." You stop her, and finally, finally, you hand reaches out to her shoulder and she almost purrs. “God, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for it to come across like that.”
“Is it because I’m a woman?” She asks sadly.
“What? No!” You splutter. "God, no. I just thought since you regenerated... maybe you didn't like contact. Like your last regeneration? I thought I should just wait until you were ready."
She blinks and a rather vivid memory comes to her from when she had regenerated into her last body. You had gone into kiss him for the first time and he had shoved you away roughly, recoiling from the unexpected touch. You'd been hurt until he’d explained herself and you’d slowly come to understand. That regeneration had become more comfortable as time went on, but she suddenly completely understands what you meant.
"Oh, Y/N," She breathes. "I'm sorry, I promise it's not like that this time, I should have-"
She's cut off by you practically shoving yourself into her arms and her hearts flutter, burying her face in your hair as she holds you as tight as possible, chest to chest.
"Don't apologise." You say into her shoulder. "I should have just asked. I thought I was giving you time but I didn't realise..."
"It's okay. I should have said something sooner." She replies softly.
"Then we need to discuss it properly." You say, pulling away just enough so that you’re face to face. You feel your breath cut a little short at the unusual close proximity. You can count her every freckle like this, examine every colour in those hazel eyes and swipe a thumb over her slightly uneven cupid’s bow if you really wanted to. You make a promise to yourself to commit every detail of her to memory.
"What are you comfortable with?" You ask confidently.
"I dunno," Her frown line deepens as she ponders this. "I haven't tried much. I like hugs."
"Good place to start." You comment. "How about-"
"Nose kisses," She blurts out suddenly, eyes lighting up and then she flushes a little in her embarrassment. "Uh, I miss... when you'd kiss me on my nose. D'you remember that?"
You smile.
"I didn't know you liked it so much."
"I'll be honest with you Y/N, it's all I've been thinkin' about."
"Right then," You say in a tone of voice which implies you're about to do something incredibly serious. You prop yourself up onto your elbows and she lies beneath you, blonde hair fanned out and a shy smile on her face. "Ready for number thirteen's first nose kiss, then?" You ask sweetly, and she nods eagerly.
Your hands go to cup her cheeks and you lean down, pressing a kiss to the tip of her snub nose. You pull away just enough to see her reaction, her nose scrunching and her mouth breaking into a mad grin. Before you can blink, she's tilted her head up and is pressing a proper kiss to your lips.
"So, we can add kisses to things you like then." You remark when it breaks, flopping down next to her and her arms wrap around you like a vice.
The Doctor feels almost euphoric because look, Y/N’s just kissed her!
"Yep," She agrees. "Hugs, kisses and nose kisses." She lists them off on her fingers. “What else is there?”
“So many things love.” You tease, a hand sliding down to her lower back and she chuckles, rolling her eyes. “How about just you and me tomorrow?” You suggest. “A date. Go and explore some planet – with no evil aliens – and we’ll get dinner and watch a movie before bed.”
“With lots of kisses?” She asks.
“With lots of kisses.” You agreed firmly.
“I’d love that.” The Doctor replies, before pressing her face into your neck and smiling. She breathes in your smell and sighs against your skin, the most content she’s been in what felt like forever.

A/N: Thanks @imnotasuperhero for the idea.
She slams her fists into the punching bag sending it swinging wildly, thrashing and clanging noisily on its chain. When she was in this kind of mood everyone knew to steer clear of Natasha. They’d rather she take her frustrations out on the boxing bag rather than them. Even Steve knew to skip the gym on such days giving the lame excuse that he had a tummy ache or something of the sort.

———————————————————
It was late in the morning when Lena finally opened her eyes to the light coming from her bedroom window. She felt warm and relaxed, even happy for what felt like the first time in such a long time. She smiled and turned to see the cause and reason for such a miracle only to find empty space beside her. The side of her bed where you had laid to sleep the night before was now cold with rests of your scent lingering between the wrinkles of her sheets.
She sat upright, pulling them to cover her naked body, and looked around in confusion. There was no sign of you around the room. For a moment she had worried something had happened to you while she slept, because after all that was said and done the night before she couldn’t find a reason why you wouldn’t be there.
It had been the last game night of the year, and the superfriends had convinced Lena to host it. You had spent quite a few hours playing and drinking and dancing and laughing between turns, and Lena had left herself enjoy every single moment of your company as it was almost rare of you to be around big crowds. She had noticed that from the first time she ever met you.

Hey Pretty Stranger
Tumblr media
Summary: Kara always wanted to introduce her little sister, you, and Lena together due to the fact that she thinks you two would get along very well. There is finally a time when both you and Lena can make game night. Little does she or the rest of super-friends know that the two of you have already met, multiple times.
A/n: Yes another BabyDanvers story, but y’all can’t deny that you wouldn’t want to be a Danvers and date the Goddess that is Lena Luthor.
Warning: Secrecy

A beam of sun and a grumble next to you, woke you up from your sleep. Your naked body tangled with another. Your arms wrapped around the woman’s pale but soft shoulders, as she laid on your breast.
The brunette ran her hand up and down your torso, you didn’t know if she was awake or if she was doing it unconsciously.
You sat at a bar just right out of National City. Your expedition in Peru didn’t end well, and here you were, home early and scribbling something on a napkin.
“I don’t mean to spy but are you making a robot?”
“Exploration droid. Records what you find, holds various tools, hologram projector for those needed debriefs and maybe a healing drug if I can make it.”
“And why are you telling me all this? Aren’t you afraid I might steal it?”
“Definitely worth it, if a pretty stranger like you takes it. I should at least get one for free.”
You both smiled at each other, an obvious blush between the both of you. The silence was soon broken when a bartender stood in front of you two.
“What can I get you ladies?”
“Whiskey Sour, with bourbon whiskey.” You spoke in sync with the woman next to you before the two broke out into smiles again.
Once the bartender prepared the drinks and moved to the next customers, the other decided to break the silence.
“You drink a lot of Whiskey Sours after every expedition?”
“Oh yes, nothing like whiskey after an adventure like Indy.” You joked.
“I take it your adventures aren’t so, breathtaking?”
“It’s not fun when you have a new crew every so often. And I haven’t seen friends or family in a year and a half.
“Well I’ll be happy to join your crew, need a break from city life anyways.” She sipped. “I’m-”
“If it’s okay if we keep the names a secret?”
“Don’t want people knowing who you are?” She smirked.
“Well I don’t mind telling anyone my name but it keeps the whole mystery thing up. And people tend to judge based on the name. Someone always has something to say. Plus I would really like to know you from you and not anyone else.”
“I know how you feel.”
“And I won’t be tempted to Google you.” You smiled.
“So if family or work ever come up we’ll just get rid of the names too. Then you won’t be tempted to Google me.”
The two of you continued to flirt and talk till the morning, thus sparked a friendship between the CEO and the explorer.
It was never planned but the two met up every Friday for about a month. Each week spent with countless hours talking to each other. It didn’t get further beside talking and flirting but it was still worth it.
It was the third week in when things began to escalate a little.
“Hey pretty stranger,” you leaned against the counter top. “Hard whiskey today, hard day?”
“You wouldn’t believe it if I told you.”
“Try me.”
“Business partners turned down an offer mainly because I’m a woman and a Lu- because of my last name.”
“That sucks… aren’t you the CEO?”
“Just because I’m a CEO does not mean I can spend money willy nilly.”
“You did not just say willy nilly.” You chuckled, the brunette’s lips curled into a smile. “Well I think it’s cute. After you of course.”
“Can I get your number?” Your eyes widened at the abrupt question. “We already know each other’s fears and secrets, what is your number going to change? I promise I won’t Google it.” She raised eyebrows, no matter how many times she did that your breath would still get caught in your throat.
“You’re not going to let me live that down are you.”
“Nope.”
“If I give you my number, will you let me take you on a date?”
“Are you free tomorrow night?”
“That was a very fast answer,” You chucked as the paler woman blushed. “How about you give me your phone, contact app opened and I’ll put my number in.”
Lena called you the moment you gave her phone back. “I had to check if it was real.”
“Now it just means I have to pick up your calls if we’re continuing the nameless.”
You put her contact as ‘Pretty Stranger’ still not knowing each other’s name.
“I’ll text you the information by the end of tonight.” She got up and grabbed her bag.
“You’re leaving now?”
“I’ve got planning to do,” She kisses your cheek before she purposely swayed her hips and walked away.
“I thought I was asking her out on a date.” You mumbled to yourself.
~~~~~
Your jaw dropped at the black pantsuit that hugged her curves in the right places. She strutted towards you with a smirk on her face. Her fingertips ghostly touched your chin and closed your mouth.
“You’ll catch flies, darling.” Her eyes landed on the single purple rose you were holding. “Is that for me?”
“Oh uh, yeah.” You gave her the flower as the heat rose to your face.
“Reservation for Kieran Thorul, party of two?” The hostess called out.
“That’s us,” the businesswoman took your hand.
“Kieran Thorul?”
“Don’t get your hopes up, you won’t be able to Google that. Fake name.”
