His Horrible Little Face.
Fanart for Disco Elysium
28 count evenweave in a 3″ hoop.
In response to more requests over on Steam, here’s the pattern for the greatest thing I’ve ever created for cross stitch purposes: Cuno’s evil little face from Disco Elysium. See the bottom of the post for my best guesses at the colors I used, and what symbols they relate to.
Notes
I’m posting this at a time when I can’t create a nice clean pattern, so here’s a scan of my notebook. The letters are made with a mix of normal stitches and backstitch/double running stitch. For placement, I recommend looking at the finished bit, and starting with the upper-left-hand corner of the F. The notes can function as a pattern, but you have to scoot the !? over if you’re working in a small hoop.
Also of note: I experimented with using some double running stitch on the edges of his face. Main pulling that dark purple shadow color up around the orange hair. I decided it didn’t help much and didn’t bother to pull it out. But, if it works for you, it’s a great technique for solidifying wobbly edges.
Legal Things
This pattern was created using the original game art, and then pixelating it into something workable. So, I basically traced the original art. You have my permission to use this pattern to create your own piece for personal use, and only personal use. If you want to post pictures of your finished work, please credit the game developers for their amazing game art, and me for working up the pattern.

Happy Obsessive Quarantine Fun Time, Greed Monarch Pattern
28 count evenweave in a 3″ hoop.
In response to requests over on Steam, here’s the pattern for my Greed Monarch fanstitch from Kingdom: Two Crowns. My apologies, but I’ve long since lost track of all the colors I used. It seems like the main body of the stag uses DMC 451 and 453, and the lighter grey that makes up the robes is probably 535. One of the dark grays is 3021.
Not noted on the pattern: I outlined a good deal of the cross stitch using a double running stitch. This, alongside something in my fabric, created the waviness of the bottom line. Absolute happy accident. A backstitch could also be used for the outlining.
Legal Things
This pattern was created using the original pixel art from the aforementioned game, with minor alterations by me. You have my permission to use this pattern to create your own piece for personal use, and only personal use. If you want to post pictures of your finished work, please credit the game developers for their amazing game, and me for working up the pattern.

I ran away from color for a bit. Now, I reface the beast. Look at its fearsome face. Such dread. Such malice. (Sketchdaily prompt: Pooh) . . . . . . . #sketchdaily https://www.instagram.com/p/BqYX8liHrUd/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=11rquv4uldnih

With zero idea of how to use watercolor pens, I forced myself to play and, like, use color. Color! It's madness! https://www.instagram.com/p/BpqgjTLA3gO/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=nh3l4rj7rbht

7/7: Round one of sanding has concluded on the Insomnia Llama, and I might, MIGHT, be able to sleep the dusty sleep of satisfaction. Thank y'all for the likes. It has made this insanity a little less silly, but in a good way. https://www.instagram.com/p/BpXkyqIAv_Z/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1b3wenij2x60y

Right. I can't sleep. Let's put me through a carving challenge instead of letting my brain rot on Facebook. Llama design, prototype in basswood. Doodle to work it out. https://www.instagram.com/p/BpW0qFMAetJ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=l3ixxo881bxf

And then, I made my first major mistake since starting this particular round of carving... by cutting the butt off my second Tiny Grief Friend. I... really... well. Damn. https://www.instagram.com/p/BoY6b2fg5Rr/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=9n5lo789u7ej
