You watched your boyfriend and your daughter Yoona sleep peacefully with a smile on your face. You came home later than usual, your shift at the restaurant took longer than excepted, but coming home to this helped you forgot about your problems at work. You tried to be as quiet as possible, you didn’t want to wake them. After changing your clothes, you slowly got under the blanket. Your daughter was between you and Mark and Mark’s arm was wrapped around her. You couldn’t stop yourself from taking a picture of this cute moment. No matter how hard and exhausting your day was, in the end nothing mattered. You had Mark and your beautiful daughter and that was all you needed.
You met Mark on your first day of middle school. The poor boy was so lost and didn’t know how to interact with others. You noticed the Harry Potter shirt he was wearing so you got extremely excited about the fact that there was another kid who liked Harry Potter. You approached him at lunch break, the boy was sitting all alone and eating his sandwich.

you smoothed out your dress and added the finishing touches to your makeup in your vanity mirror. perks of marrying a ceo. he bought you anything you wanted when you wanted it.
so thanks to kang taehyun you had as much makeup, cars, jewelry, money and designer clothes any girl would ever want. you were spoiled, and you knew that.
“where do you think you’re going?”. you heard a voice sound from the doorframe. you peered through the mirror to see taehyun with a towel wrapped around his waist and his wet blonde hair dangling above his eyes. it was clear that he was fresh out of the shower. by his tone alone you knew he wasn’t pleased.
you cursed under your breath.
“I’m going out with Tanya and the girls tonight. I told you already. we’re getting drinks and then we’re going home”.
he made a small “hm” noise while walking in the bedroom and opening his closet. he was so nonchalant it actually scared you half to death.
he took a couple of glances at his choice of bed shirts. “I don’t mind you going out. but can’t you save that dress for another occasion?”.
“like what? I like the dress I think it’s cute”.
he chuckles a little. but not the friendly kind of chuckle that you loved. It was the kind of chuckle that made you panic.
“of course you do”.
“what’s that supposed to mean?”.
“anything that hugs your ass and barely gives you any room to breathe is what you love”.
you push the cap back on your lipstick. “why are you doing this? why are you slut shaming me I said I like the dress and I want to wear it tonight. you know I like these type of clothes anyways so why is it a problem now?”.
“you know what?”. Taehyun points matter-of-factly, “if you want to wear it then go ahead”.
you sat still biting the inside of your cheeks. usually when you two fussed like this he’d get stern. It was odd that he was okay with it. Suspicious even. you felt uneasy.
“...go ahead?”.
“yes, have fun tonight. be safe”.
you got up out of your chair grabbing your purse off the bed and swinging it over your shoulder. your eyebrows were knitted together nervously while staring at taehyun’s bare back. “well I should get going now. The driver said he’d be out front waiting for me”.
“alright I see you later”.
you were turning on your heels to leave but you hated how taehyun was acting. And the fact that it was all over something as simple as a dress made you even angrier.
“you know what taehyun it’s just a dress why are you acting like that?”.
he snatches his eyes away from his wardrobe with enough attitude to make your heart stop.
“what are you talking about?”.
“This! This passive aggression all because I don’t want to wear what you want me to wear. And don’t even say it isn’t passive aggression because I can hear it in your voice!”.
he does that low chuckle again. “It isn’t passive aggression. I’m genuinely telling you to wear it and have fun while you’re at it. what’s all the yelling for sweetheart?”.
he knew it. he knew what he was doing. playing mind games and calling you by your favorite petname. it always worked.
“you’re telling me to have a good night now but how do I know when I come home and you’ll do some petty shit like lock me outside the house? or be with someone else?”.
“why do you want me to be toxic so bad?”.
you breathed, trying to think. why were you acting so crazy of all of a sudden? why is he so calm?
“I don’t want you to be toxic taehyun I want you to let me wear my clothes without shaming me for it and acting all crazy”. you say sternly. but truly you felt like the crazy one, starting an argument and acting belligerent while his voice was low and calm.
he looks you up and down slowly. his eyes melting over your curves and beauty.
“you can wear what you want. I was wrong for what I said”.
you swallow. his voice was way too husky to make you want to go anywhere. and you hated how deliberate his eyes were. they made your legs weak every single time.
“good, then. can I get a kiss goodbye maybe?”. you ask but you didn’t really want to leave. you wished taehyun begged you to stay home so you could have a reason. he does this cute grin before strolling over to your much smaller frame and pushes his lips onto yours.
he made it quick yet chaste, making sure his bottom lip stuck to yours just before pulling away. he rubs his thumb over your chin while he gazed down at you. not only did he smell amazing but he looked just as good as he smelled.
his plan had worked. judging by your face alone he knew you’d no longer be going out. he played along anyways.
“have fun sweetheart. okay?”.
