Hey folks! Abby here first off thank you all so much for your support as Untamed Undies works to get established as a business! All of you who have spread the word about my product as well as those who actually came out and bought them I am forever grateful, I would not have made it past my first convention without you guys. As a way to say thank you I am doing a give away to get some really rad panties into the hands of folks who want them!

First off for those of you who are new here’s a little info about me and my undies and why they are super duper rad.

I am Abby, a 23 year old genderqueer pansexual kid who was super upset about the state of underpants in the world, for them to be cute they had to be uncomfortable; and for them to be comfy they had to be boring. So in a night of fiery passion after being unbelievably angry with the patriarchy I set out to fuck shit up and started doing sketches for underwear designs focused on positive and feminist messages for folks of all different strokes, and thus Untamed Undies was born! Untamed Undies creates gender non specific undies for all sorts of folks. Every design comes in a variety of cuts that fall all along the traditional spectrum for gender expression. I currently carry boxers, boxer briefs, briefs, boy shorts, bikini, hipster, and high cut varieties of underwear in an attempt to cover whatever someones particular gender expression happens to be. I make an effort to have in inclusive product line including the ability to custom order shapewear for trans ladies to help with tucking and smoothing, and our boxer briefs were chosen (after much trauma from a very tolerant lovely friend) to be excellent for packing for trans men.

Our first place winner will receive 4 pairs of undies of their choosing from the designs I have printed at the time that the contest closes, as well as a pair of undies for the prototype of my pronoun undies which can be printed with three variations of whatever pronoun they may choose (ie they, them, theirs)

second place:

Our second place winner will receive 2 pairs of undies of their choosing from the designs available as well as one pair of the pronoun panties!

Third place:

Our third place winner will receive a pair of the pronoun panties as well as a set of stickers for the panties against the patriarchy line!

I am actually based in Rhode Island/ Massachusetts but my favorite noodle wholewheatwaffle is in michigan and I love them and are thus going for a lovely visit!  At penguicon I am also teaching a panel about doing the things! (its called doing what you love)

UNTAMED UNDIES FAQ SHEET

What type of Underwear do you use?

I originally used angelina brand underwear, however due to issues with consistency in the availability of certain cuts I have switched to using a mixture of hanes and fruit of the loom in order to get an appealing mix of colors and cuts as well as making sure that I can maintain consistency in my products.

Who creates your designs?

I create all my designs first as traditional media drawings and then I add all color in digitally using corel painter and a tablet.

What is your printing process?

I use two different printing processes. The first process would be silk screening. I make my own screens as well as exposing them and mixing my own inks. I do the printing myself as well. The second process I use for the more complex designs. I print the designs on a specialty transfer and then apply them to the underwear using an industrial heat press.

Will my junk fit?

Absolutely. I have made an effort to ensure that no matter what you happen to have in your pants, you can wear the underwear you are comfortable in. Shape-wear can be custom ordered for the same price as our regular stuff if that is something you need.

What cuts do you carry?

We carry boxers, boxer briefs, boy shorts, briefs, hipster, bikini, and high cut varieties currently at conventions however we have the capability to custom order shape-wear.

What cuts are good for packing?

Our boxer briefs are great for that and we made sure that they will stay on your hips as they narrow out from taking T.

What cuts are good for tucking?

All of our cuts have room for tucking if you are using something to aid with tucking (the boy shorts and boxers being the loosest and thus offering the least support) and by emailing me your measurements I can print shape-wear in the design you like which can manage tucking without other aids.  When using aids in tucking I highly recommend our hipster cut the sit very nicely on your hips and have a very smooth silhouette.

What is your pricing?

All underwear costs $10.00 a pair regardless of cut or 3 pairs for $25.00 (only at cons)

Stickers cost $1.00

Buttons cost $2.00

Postcard Sets cost $8.00

How should I care for these underwear?

Wash them inside out and please let them line dry or dry flat. The dryer is not kind to your undies (it can cause the designs to fade and the elastic to weaken)!

How long have you been in business?

I started my business in March of 2014

How did you get started?

I didn’t want undies that said flirt on the butt anymore, and I definitely didn’t want my baby sibling having to deal with that either. Underwear should do more than reduce a person to the sum of their body parts.
