                "So. How many fights have you broken up this week?" she asked, glancing up at him. This wasn't the first time she'd had to exercise her powers on the students. Most of the time she had to use them to wake them up in class, but stopping a fight was a common occurence.
                 "It's the teenage hormones, isn't it?" added Leah. "Puberty and all that."

Devlin looked at the student falling asleep in surprise. That had admittedly happened in more than one of his classes before. However, never in the middle of him giving a lecture. He didn’t have a sword they could see on him, but he was under the impression the male students were just a tad bit scared of him. He turned to see Leah and understood.
"Thanks Leah," he said. He began to walk with her. The principal could deal with the students.

                     When she feels the tapping, she snores lightly as she wakes back up, lifting her head and tilting it to the side. "I'm not totally helpless while I'm sleeping," she said, fighting off a yawn. "And I've got you, Athena-girl, you wouldn't leave someone sleeping in a field, right?" she grinned.
                "So. What's your weapon of choice? I see you as an...archer?"
Tumblr media
Annabeth watched as Leah started to yawn and fall asleep. “Sleeping can be fun but hey.” She said tapping the girl on the shoulder. “Its not safe to sleep in the middle of the field.”

[ "You’d be surprised how many people don’t believe in the supernatural."--at this, Leah smiles. She nods in time with the girl. ]
                     Oh, I get it. Nice. So you're a resurrected yes-and-no-daughter of an angel. That's actually pretty cool.
Tumblr media
        And I get what you mean with the supernatural stuff. I'm, like, half-god, half-human. It doesn't really show, but it's in here. In my blood. Swimming.
[ Leah gestures to all of herself ]
Tumblr media
{☸} — "Yeah, one of those."
                   { She raises her eyebrows, accentuating the word ‘those.’ }
                          “Don’t worry. Most people don’t know. You’d be surprised how many people don’t believe in the supernatural.”
        { There’s a nod. }
                                      “Well technically yes and no. It’s complicated. Technically, I’m also dead. Well, I died. I used to be fully mortal.”

                     "Now that's just mean," she frowned. "Sleeping is very fun, thank you very...much," she yawned, blinking to keep her eyelids open.
            "Why don't you--er--" Leah's eyes closed, "ask that..." she fell asleep, her head lolling forward.
Annabeth looked at the woman in front of her. “But taking a nap wouldn’t be as fun in my opinion.”

                    Leah sighed, tired and annoyed, as she passed by the English teacher reprimand the two fighting boys. She narrowed her eyes and one boy fell asleep, falling back against the lockers, his mouth open and drooling. The demigod smiled to herself before nodding seriously at Mr Devlin Abby.
                    "Good job, Mr A. Keep up the good work and things," she yawned, walking past him.

               Ground control to Major Tom, there's more than one god.
Tumblr media
       Oh. Oh, wait, I'm getting something.
[ she closes her eyes, looking like she's fallen asleep mid-conversation, but really she's trying to find the right information in her memory bank. ]
                     You're the guys with the one God. Sorry about that, I didn't mean to--er--yeah...I got a little jumbled up...in here.
[ she taps her head, giving the girl a sleepy, apologetic smile. ]
                              And Michael...angels have kids?
Tumblr media
{☸} — "He’s an angel. An archangel actually."
                                    { She’s confused. }
   ”I’ve only met one god.”

              He wrung his hands underneath the table, fighting to keep his panic down. The man preferred everything, his whole operation, to be running smoothly, and this latest 'bump on the road' was proving more to be a sinkhole the size of Manhattan Island.
              "You know, old sport," sighed Gatsby, pinching the bridge of his nose, "if you had told me this a week ago, this wouldn't be much of a problem."

            "Sleeping," she replied with a small smile. "Nothing else. Just sleeping," mused Leah, breathing in the scent of her tea as she brought it to her lips. She eyed the man's coffee, grimacing slightly from behind her cup, before setting her tea down on the round table. "And dreaming, maybe. Sleeping, dreaming, hmm...oh, and remember to drink warm milk before bed. What else is there to do at night?" she yawned.

"Well, thank you love bug." Matthew said, taking a sip of his coffee, his eyes trailing back down to his open computer. Coffee was his drug, well at least more than anything else he’s had at least. "What are we doing tonight?" He asked abruptly, not really caring that he interrupted the silence.

Freezing || A Self-Para || Leah
The road was eerily silent as Leah walked along, save for the crunching of the snow underneath her shoes. In the fields behind the fences, a thin layer of snow covered the grass like a blanket and, more than once, the demigod had to fight the urge to climb over the fence and sleep under it. Two things fought against her judgement; one, she would likely die from hypothermia, and two, she needed to go home.
Home was a fluid concept. For now, she called Camp Halfblood home--at least, it was a place of residence she could rely on. She was fully aware that her presence at the Camp was always, for lack of a better term, weird. Leah was also aware that most demigods did not live past the age of twenty yet, there she was, freezing her arse off.
It was not always clear why she had lived that long. Was it a blessing? A curse? Was she immortal? Was it because that whenever she was in trouble she just made the monster sleep while she ran away? People say love is the most powerful thing of all, but it's clearly sleep. The power to induce sleep was clearly more dangerous than anything else--admittedly not as dramatic as, say, the blessing of Ares, but when that sleepy feeling catches hold of you...you're a goner.
She emitted a light laugh, the image of a snoring Laistrygonian hugging his iron club floating in her mind. Then she groaned.
"How long, how long," she mumbled, wrapping her arms around herself as she continued. Her cheeks and nose were now bright red, and the clouds of air that puffed from her mouth were more prominent. "Why didn't I just take the bus--then I could've slept."
Her siblings would be in their cabin, sleeping in their beds and snoring. Oh, the snoring. With every step she took, she could feel herself becoming sleepier. Her arms felt heavier, her eyelids even more so.
Siblings...siblings, siblings, siblings--what were their names? Something dreamy, something that rolled off the tongue, she thought. When was the last time she saw them?
Clovis would be older...that was all she could think of.
"Siblings," she whispered. Then she closed her eyes.
She was standing in the middle of Cabin Fifteen. Naturally, the campers were asleep. Leah found Clovis and yanked the pillow from underneath his head, feeling instantly apologetic as her half-brother blinked his eyes sleepily. "Come and get me. I'm freezing," she whispered, before smiling and dissolving from the dream.

                  "With you?" echoed Leah, wincing at the very idea of sparring with the child of Athena. "Take a nap if you're bored, that always does the trick for me."
