Why is the creative act so at the core of being human? And how does something come from nothing? This film is born from a collective investigation into the transformative magic - the special alchemy of senses, creativity, and action - that is inspiration.

According to the English dictionary, inspiration is "a mental stimulation to do and feel something" and this film echoes that emotions are a powerful catalyst for creating new work. We can feel angry, joyful, jealous, sad, nervous, and should pay more attention to these emotions. We can harness them as tools for creativity.

The film was developed as an"exquisite corpse". Through the involvement of a group of pretty inspiring individuals, we hope this film is a testament to a creativity that transcends any particular fad or style. Big shout outs to Antfood for the incredible sound design and to all our creative partners - truly making this something, from nothing!

When Tony Stark and Bruce Banner try to jump-start a dormant peacekeeping program called Ultron, things go horribly wrong and it's up to Earth's mighteous heroes to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plans.

On Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, Territory worked closely with production designer Charles Wood and the art department, to craft a visual language to support Whedon’s dark and gritty vision for the film and reflect the individual characteristics of the personalities in the story.

Tasked to bring an unprecedented level of realism to the beleaguered heroes and their technology, Territory created new visual identities and UI for the technology seen in Avengers Tower, including Stark lab and Banner’s research lab, the Quinjet aircraft and newly introduced characters the evil Baron Von Strucker and his Fortress stronghold, and Dr Cho, whose advanced medical lab supports the Avengers in the story.

With a creative approach that brings emotive depth to their work, Territory crafted technology, UI and tools that expressed each individual’s unique characteristics in digital form. And, by referencing research into state of the art clinical diagnostic technology, and the latest thinking in military, robotics and avionics technology, the team was able to bring a fresh level of authenticity to the Marvel universe.

In total, Territory created more than 200 screens and 80 minutes of unique animations across all 11 sets, making it one of Marvel’s most ambitious production to date at Shepperton Studio.

Together with T Brand Studio - brand marketing unit of The New York Times and Vladimir Marchukov we created set of illustrations and short animated video for the New York Times article about Prevnar13 - a vaccine that protects you from pneumococcal pneumonia after the age of 50.

The lovely people from Half & Twice asked me to come up with a clever and fresh-looking motion graphics video to promote the launch of their recently born design studio. After putting together the main ideas they wanted to present to their public and translating these into a script, I could focus on the illustration and animation work of the piece, which is full of little nice touches (like the elements on the desk or the ones hanging on the peg-board), everything under the wise direction of Paloma Ávila, H&T's wonderful Art Director.

We do this because it gives us a (false) sense of security and control over life’s uncertainties. Back in spring we were asked by MTV Italy to develop a visual concept that could adopt to a full on/off air campaign as well as traslate into digital content for the MTV Awards which took place in June 2016. The concept is based on the theory of "perpetual motion" and it involves bodies of different shapes smoothly and incessantly in action.
