Warioware Tabletop Headcanons
Wario: HUGE Loot Goblin. Will get into fights the second he's not allowed to have all the loot (he usually loses and leaves). Jimmy T.: He's a DM, but a really chill one. He doesn't really put a whole lot of forethought into his campaigns, usually borrowing them from online sources, but boy is he flexible. There is almost no way to break a campaign he can't adapt to, but he also is generally not into long campaigns, sometimes leaving the experience unfulfilling at the end. Dribble And Spitz: Really fun guys to play an RPG with, but constantly forget having to roll for ANYTHING. They'll frequently say things like "I hit him with my sword!" and "I intimidate the guard" and assume the game will let that happen. Sometimes, the DM will just let them have it because, darn it, they're just so fun to be around, and it'd be really funny. Mona: Another generally really cool player to be around, acts moderately well, but will NEVER play the same character in 2 different sessions. EVER. She always has to roll a new character, even in the middle of the campaign. 9-Volt: Min-Maxer. Probably running a Murder Hobo that is also somehow game-related despite games not existing in-universe. The DMs usually let him have this. Orbulon: Barely exists as a player, is mostly here to socialize and eat food. Occasionally tries earnestly to engage with the game for the heck of it and suddenly the train flies off of the rails. Dr. Crygor: Another DM, the polar opposite of Jimmy T. Has an entire atlas of the game's world, and has sharpened every single tiny detail about the setting, its countries, its history, its religions, its conflicts, its past conflicts, and every single dungeon he will unfortunately funnel you into regardless of how you feel about it. Kat & Ana: Orbulon, but only the first sentence (they're kids, what'dya expect?) 18-Volt: Will ONLY play with his custom bard character that Raps for all of his spells. Generally okay otherwise. Ashley: Her Character is the darkest flavor of spellcaster possible in the game, and their name is something like Deathdarkness Moonbladereaper, and she will play this character like her life depended on it.. Despite this, she's not actually DISRUPTIVE, and adds a unique perspective to the party, though occasionally has a habit of cursing NPCs that seem suspicious or having towns be angry at them because she doesn't care to hide her undead minions. The prose she uses during some of her actions also makes it really hard to take her seriously sometimes. Red: Will play a healing class, but will almost exclusively focus on keeping Ashley's character alive and as well as possible, completely ignoring everyone else. Ashley doesn't even want him to do this, it's just a thing he does, and nobody's happy about it. (Part 2 coming maybe)

Yeah, Mod Penny definitely was, wasn't she?
Speaking of Cricket, who do you think was the girl that was training with him? Also that other little boy in the picture with Mantis?
I'VE GOT A HEADCANON NAME FOR BOTH OF THEM! THE KUNG FU BALL GIRL IS YOUNG CICADA AND THE BOY IN THAT ONE PICTURE IS YOUNG BLOODWORM

(Idk if you guys are still taking hc things but some thoughts I have about Mike & Orbulon being friends!!)
When Mike was new to WarioWare Inc. he had a lot of trouble with connecting to the others and being friends with them, feeling a bit like an outsider due to his troubles with expressing emotion + him being a robot (which seems to be uncommon, unlike anthro animals)
But he connected to Orbulon because of their shared feelings of being outsiders + difficulty conveying emotion/connecting with their human coworkers. Feeling a sense of comfort & safety with each other to talk about their non-human issues! They supported each other and helped the other feel more safe in this strange new world + get through personal issues
some misc hcs:
• They like going to the library together- Mike mainly goes to get books for Penny, but enjoys reading with Orbulon while they're there
•Orbulon finds Mike's singing good/fascinating instead of bad- thinks it's a niche singing style of humans
•Mike teaches Orbulon how to dance & cook and in turn Orbulon teaches Mike about space + shows him cool planets!!
•Orbulon acts like a trashcan and/or taste tester for Mike's stranger/experimental dishes
•They're both autistic + touch aversive! Orbulon also struggles with loud noises and bright lights while Mike struggles with sensory icks like certain materials of clothes (opting to just wear nothing) and wet/squishy things. (Slime, wet food, grease, etc)
I have more but I don't wanna talk everyone's heads off & this is long enough FJSHSHDB

I’ve always thought of Orbulon as the type to listen to sorting algorithm videos for hours on end like it’s some sort of ritual.
Aliens need brain tickle too

Since many fans like to look at the relationship between Ashley and Penny, I'm curious if you have an interpretation of the friendship between Penny and Ashley?
//Ashley is pretty close friends with Penny, as Penny is one of the few people who care to check on her often. She finds support in her, and sometimes after work they like to do experiments with both science and magic together. Ashley has reluctantly tested Penny's second batch of Tonally Transformative Elixir, which didn't go much better than the first time. To make up for it, Penny let Ashley test her transformation spells on her. The two had been friends since Red made Ashley have a playdate with her to try to help her socialize, and even though she hated being around her at the time, she now values the friend she's made.

About that Rhythm Heaven thing that I said before: I kinda didn't know that Rhythm Heaven and WarioWare were designed by the same person :/

Headcanon: WarioWare regularly receive calls from strangers trying to prank or scam them.
Wario’s quick to insult the caller, hang up the phone, and block their number. Ashley does the same thing, except she doesn’t bother saying anything.
Lulu somehow falls for every prank call she answers. They always end with her yelling at the caller until they hang up or someone takes the phone from her.
9-Volt once answered a call from somebody looking for someone with a specific name. After asking everybody in the building “is Mike Hunt here?” through the intercom system, 5-Volt stopped letting him answer the company’s phone.
Young Cricket unintentionally avoids getting scammed because he’s too oblivious. How could he have won the lottery if he’s not old enough to buy tickets? Why would he have an extended car warranty if he doesn’t have a car? Callers get impatient with Cricket REALLY quickly.
It’s also impossible to scam Master Mantis because he doesn’t rely on modern technology (outside of WarioWare). He once listened to a scammer go on for ten minutes that his bank account would be frozen if he didn’t pay them several thousand dollars in service fees. Mantis’ response? “That’s rather unfortunate, but I don’t have a bank account.”
Dribble, Spitz, and Mike LOVE answering prank/scam calls and seeing how long they can stay on the phone before the caller hangs up. WarioWare has an unfathomably expensive phone bill because of this and Wario frequently bitches them out over it, but that doesn’t deter them in the slightest.

(technically a test post to see if my blog is old enough to appear in tags. Also repost because I wanted to wait until my blog was officially like a day old.)
While Ashley may not "play with dolls," she often uses toys as test subjects for magic as suggested in the description for Stumblebot in Gold. Something to note is how Ashley refers to her doll as "she" and "her" rather than "it," and calls it "my doll," which suggests she has an attachment to it and isn't just using it as something to practice her magic on, or at least that's how it comes across to me. I think that Ashley actually does like to have dolls and toys besides her stuffed bunny, to an extent at least. It's definitely more of a tough love, and since her stuffed bunny is definitely a voodoo doll, all of her toys probably serve some magical purpose, but it just goes to show that Ashley really is just a little girl on the inside, and her stoic exterior doesn't stop her from secretly enjoying her toys.
