March for Our Lives...Reality
I know I have a completely different view on gun control than most. That’s going to happen based on where you were raised, how you were raised, and..well..your own opinion.
Seeing all of the pictures and videos today of people at March for Our Lives rallies, is very inspiring. It does give hope that, maybe, one day our society won’t be full of bigots and hypocrites. (Ha!) Maybe one day I can have their courage to do something like that.
I’m not sure that it would be my truth if I were to march, however. I am a gun owner; a licensed gun owner with the right to carry my weapon. Maybe that’s the difference. I followed the rules and did what I was supposed to do, whereas these criminals are not.
I believe in a change and I believe there needs to be a change. As a teacher, I should not have to go to work and worry that one day I may not come home because I died protecting my students or because I just happened to get in the gunman/woman’s way. I shouldn’t have to watch my students be scared to death during a lock-down drill because someone got up one day and decided they needed to go kill their classmates and teachers.
That’s what I would march for.
My gun rights shouldn’t be taken away from me because the criminal down the street sold a gun to a minor or the shady pawn shop didn’t run the background check. There needs to be some serious reform on the Gun Laws. I will happily follow them as I follow all of the other laws. Want me to retake my carry class? Gladly! Take the class every year my license needs renewal? Okay!
That’s what I would march for.
As I’ve said before, I’m from the South and I’m not afraid of many things. I’m afraid of someone coming into my school trying to hurt my students. Let us carry. Myself and others would happily go through the extended hours in order to protect our students. Yes, we have an SRO but he’s one person and not always there.
That’s what I would march for.
Y’all, the sad reality of this is that regardless of what happens the ones who aren’t following the laws are going to be the same ones who won’t follow the laws when they’re changed. Criminals always find a way to get what they want. My only hope is that people become more diligent and more away of what’s going on in the world. Keep marching for change.

A most holy man
AKA Italian + killer + Dean saying “Rest in peace” = I’m posting this way later than planned because I wanted to play Assassin’s creed brotherhood at the end of the episode. By @teamfreewill-girl First of all the cold open was unusual for SPN and even if I was surprised it was a pleasant change. Cas is in Syria which makes me wonder if he actually got his wings back? I mean unless there’s a private jet we never saw in the Bunker’s garage Cas isn’t suppose to be able to take a plane to go to Syria (I mean you don’t go to a company and tell them “hey I wanna go to Syria thanks”). So I wonder if he got his wings back. On an other note I still think Sam need a win. There was a little spark missing in his eyes. At least that’s how it felt in the beginning of the episode and the end confirmed it. And Jared was playing it greatly I loved it. That man is amazing. Part of me wanted to cry and hug Sam telling him it would be okay. That he would end up having his win. Margaret made me think about Bella. Dean: You’re like a Boy Scout. Always prepared. Sam: Yeah. You’re like a… Dean: Yeah? Sam: I don’t know what you’re like. Dean: Yeah. Thanks. At first I thought this scene was cute teasing/bickering between brothers and it made me smile. Now that I think about it and after rewatching it I realize Sam still seems a little bit off (not in an OOC way in a he doesn’t feel good way) and I’m wondering if maybe it was just Sam TRYING to have some nice teasing with his brother but feeling too depressed to go through it. Dean being more pissed about having to let a stranger drive the Impala than by being kidnapped with Sam to meet a head mob gives me life. So the sketchy guy who was spying Sam and Dean was a priest? I think I like him. I hope we will see more of him. “The world will never be perfect. But if good men do good things, it can be better. Every day can get better” Let’s get serious there this quote should be applied in real life too. I really like Lucca. One of the thins I like with SPN is that capacity to have a funny scene after an emotional/beautiful scene really naturally. I mean Dean looks so ready to torture and then kill someone and yet Sam ONLY said “imagine if someone stole the Impala”. Calm down Dean noboby is planing to steal your precious baby I promise. Stuff happened, people started shooting each other. Margaret died. And Sam and Dean still got the blood from “A Most Holy Man” (Lucca’s blood) And the end of the episode arrives. And that actualy was my favorite part. During the whole episode I wanted to hug Sam because I felt something was off that he wanted to have faith but couldn’t have faith. And the end of the episode confirmed it. Dean saying “I have faith” after he said in the begining of the season “I don’t believe in a damn thing” it was to show that after being hopeless, angry, depressed… in the beginning of the season the fact that he got his win put him on the right path to feel better and be happy. That’s what they are doing with Sam. He doesn’t have faith anymore, he feel hopeless and is ready to give up. They need to show us how Sam feels before - hopefully - giving him his own win so he can end on the right path to feel better like Dean. Long story short the episode wasn’t awesome as a Team Free Will fan I missed a little bit Cas (and even Jack) and I feel there’s always a little something missing in episodes that Singer writes - but that’s MY personal opinion not necessarily the opinion of the other writers of this blog. Yet the acting (seriously Jared was so awesome), directing and some moments made it into a good episode that I still liked and watched twice already.
Note: It’s now canon that Sam and Dean are Disney Princesses. The hair of a Disney Princess and the eyes of a Disney Princess.

13x14 “Good Intentions” // 5x17 „99 Problems” Who needs armies or special weapons when Dean Winchester as Dean Winchester is well enough?! ;)
I have very briefly mentioned this here before, but I felt like giffing this moment, because these days as a Dean!Girl one has to take each chance. :) Basically what I had to think of during this fighting scene was how much the scene showed what a skilled fighter Dean is. Weapon touched by God or not, Dean Winchester doesn’t need any special weapons to defeat ancient super warriors, because in the end and contrary to Donatello’s words Dean was chosen by God. Not to be a prophet, no, but as the “firewall between light and darkness”, as “Michael’s vessel”, as a human with flaws, but his heart in the right place and with that the one he trusted the world would be good off and save with and therefore doesn’t need him (God). So really, considering all that, Dean just being Dean and hies ties to the divine will render any weapon a weapon touched by God by extension. And well, it’s not like it’s a first we have seen Dean make seeming impossible kills, because supposedly he didn’t meet the criteria like in 5x17 “99 Problems” and proved everybody wrong, so him killing Gog and Magog with their own weapons almost as if it was nothing isn’t truly all that surprising.

“Whatever It Takes” 13x14 Good Intentions
Written by: @waywardtayakf
Current Universe Situations
If bacon’s what kills me, then I win.–Dean
Tumblr media
Donatello has cracked…in more ways than one…the Demon tablet and starts listing the names of ingredients needed. Specifically, the hearts of Gog and Magog–ancient warriors that enslaved half the Fertile Crescent–that can only be killed by a weapon that has been touched by God. Cas and Dean handle the task while Sam and Donnie work on gathering the ingredients to open the portal.
Cas questions the reason he was brought back from death; believes he has been brought back to prepare for war.
“Whatever it takes.”–Dean
Enter Cas and Dean standing in a large, open field summoning these brothers in Enochian. Upon their appearance, Dean, being his normal self, cannot control his giggles at Gog’s and Magog’s loincloths.
“Ask where they got their loincloths.”–Dean. “Dean.”–Cas
Tumblr media
The brothers argue about who to kill first, in ancient Canaanite, and base their decision on which one is prettiest.
“I’ll kill the pretty one.” “They are equally pretty.” (Amen!)
Turns out, angel blades are useless against swords forged by a god. Just an FYI for all you blade carriers out there. Cas becomes overtaken in battle and Dean saves the day. (Destiel, anyone?) The dead warrior provides some insight for Cas…they are not, in fact, what Donatello sent them after. These are actually primitive beasts made of rock and sand…i.e. no heart.

*SPOILERS* Fearless Women Being BAMF
First, let’s talk about this amazing opening song! If you didn’t get to hear a lot of the lyrics, I suggest you watch/listen to the above video. The lyrics are killer, especially coming from a strong female. Within the first two lines, two questions are asked: “Am I brave enough? Am I strong enough?” How perfect are those two lines for these beautiful, badass women being displayed in an episode of Supernatural?!
Throughout the episode, we see each Wayward Sister–Jody, Donna, Claire, Alex, Patience, and Kaia–embodying the line, “I am the fire.”
The girls find themselves in a hairy predicament when preparing to rescue Sam and Dean from the Bad Place. Star Trek/Creatures from Black Lagoon rejects have also escaped through the rift, as Kaia said they would. Donna provides Patience with shooting lessons in 2 seconds, which ultimately pay off.
“Alright, girls. Let’s go to work.”–Jody
Meanwhile…
Dean cooks and eats a lizard. One of my absolute favorite moments in the episode. Sam: “Don’t tell me it tastes like chicken.” Dean: “It’s a lizard. It tastes like a lizard.” Dean…How do you know what a lizard tastes like?
A new ship is born as Kaia and Claire enter the Bad Place to save Sam and Dean! DreamHunter!
The girls save Sam and Dean from the Darth Vader looking character and the angry Smokey Bear. Kaia, being bamf, saves Claire from Darth’s spear…but is she really gone?
Patience earns her stripes; “I killed a monster.” Yes, baby girl, you sure did!! “Welcome to the family,” says Alex.
“We saved Sam and Dean. All of these amazing women…. I’m staying because I need them. My family. My army.”–Claire

Can we have happy hunters please?
First of all I love it when SPN does that thing where something creepy or bloody is happening andthere’s a song that sound so happy in the background (Look in my eyes) I think it’s funny but it also makes things even creepier.
Now the episode itself. I thought Wendy was going to be some sort of young huntress causewhen I heard her name was «Hanscum» I was like « Fake ID?» so I admit I was surprised when I saw I was wrong.
Sam is definitely in a bad place and damn it makes me so sad. He is supposed to be the optimist one so seeing him like that wasn’t something I expected at all. Dean on the other side being all domestic making pancakes and waking up early was a change too but a pleasant one. Donna… I love Donna so let’s face it I’m 100% biased but learning more about Donna in that episode was so pleasant. Plus it was a unusual part of her that we saw. Donna is always the happy woman/shriff/huntress. Always smiling. Trying to see the positive side of everything. Like people said before Wayward Sisters (episode 10), Donna is a murderous ray of sunshine. So seeing her in that episode being angry, being sad, anxious… It was something new about her and that’s a good thing.
The idea of monsters buying takeout «food» is a good idea. Now that the website is down I wonder if we will see the werewolf and the vampire who were bidding on Sam’s body part in a Future MoW episode. Both of them teaming up against the Winchesters can make a good episode if done properly.
Anyway! It’s getting too long! So I’m gonna quickly give my opinion on the end of the episode.
«Donna, when you choose this life anyone who gets too close, eventually they will get hurt. Or worse. So let him go. He’ll be safer that way.» - Sam
Sam saying to Donna to let Doug go because the life of a hunter means everyone close to you get hurt was hard to see for me. Sam is the optimist one. Sam is the one who support Dean when he stops believing they do way more good then they think, that they make a difference. Sam is the one who think their legacy is all the people they saved and helped. Damn Sam is the one who asked Dean if he ever thought of settling down with someone who knew about monsters. That means Sam used to believe hunters can have a life beside hunting with a loved one… but some stuff changed so now Sam doesn’t believe anymore and there’s something about the optimist Winchester not believing anymore that was sad and I’m sure there’s more behind his behavior than just Jack and Mary being stuck in the Apocalypse universe and Kaia being dead. I mean Sam didn’t get to properly grieve for Eileen. He didn’t get to properly grieve for Cas (even if Cas came back). So I think everything is just hitting him now.
Conclusion: I’m not a Monster of the Week episode fan. I tend to like them less than other episodes but this season? This season it’s just my opinion but they tend to be more likeable episodes (mostly Davy Perez’s who made me into a fan of MoW episodes).

Where Do We Go From Here? Season 13, Episode 12
Let’s talk about witches.
Witches are quite possibly one of my favorite villains on the show because they’re human, or at least mostly human, and that makes them more complex and compelling than your run-of-the-mill beastie.
Except this week, we got two of the most uninteresting, cliche, and awful witches possible. Could those girls have been more unsympathetic? Was I supposed to feel bad for them because of their dead mother? I didn’t. The Plum sisters showed up, made our boys look stupid, and vanished with the Black Grimoire, that super dark magic book of Rowena’s the boys had been storing in the bunker.
But you know what? That’s okay…because Rowena is back. And Rowena makes everything better.
I must admit: as hilarious as Dean’s love spell was (and we need some laughs on this show, especially after the past few weeks, am I right?), I was glad we didn’t have an entire episode of love-spell Dean and irritated, babysitter Sam. Instead, we got a pretty good balance of what felt like a monster of the week episode, but still carried the plot forward.
The heart of this episode’s main plot (the Sam and Dean and Rowena go after the Black Grimoire plot) was the conversation between Sam and Rowena while they waited for Dean, who was off investigating the location of the Plum sisters. Sitting in the Impala, Rowena admits to Sam that the root of all her suffering isn’t that Lucifer bashed her skull in and burned her alive…but because she saw his true face. Sam shares that he has seen it too…and of course he has; he spent time in the Cage with Lucifer, had the Devil walking around in his head back in seasons 6 and 7. THIS is a delicious detail and I am delighted the writers included it: in season 13, it’s easy to forget what Sam’s gone through–this reminder of Sam’s suffering with Lucifer, the fear he still must have, brings the show a little closer to home, grounds it back to those earlier seasons.
But, the moment is brief: Rowena tricks Sam and runs off after the book. She intercepts the girls who set their zombie mother on her. The Winchesters catch up, there’s an all-out fight, the bad witches are defeated, and the boys and Rowena are intact. Rowena leaves, and the WInchesters remain in possession of the Grimoire. Well, mostly.
We realize, in the end, that Sam let Rowena take the book page she needed. Why? He claims he understood what she’s dealing with. Sam–poor Sam–is struggling this season; Dean’s trying to help him but, as they always do, the boys aren’t the best at communication and feelings.
But what about the other plot of this episode?
We FINALLY got to see what’s happening with Castiel and Lucifer.
Here’s the thing: Not much. A lot of fantastic banter. They’re in adjacent cells. Lucifer is trying to get his mojo back and failing, but he’s talking smart, threatening the guards…being the Devil we know and love….until Castiel pisses him off with some choice words about Jack being nothing like Lucifer, and his powers return.
Lucifer kills the guard and he and Castiel escape. After a scuffle with the remaining demons, they emerge from their prison, Lucifer asks for Castiel’s grace, and in a sheer heroic move, Castiel turns and stabs Lucifer with an angel blade. The last shot we see before the episode ends is Lucifer’s eyes flickering from red to blue.
But…we know he isn’t dead. Don’t we?
Overall: Solid episode, but I’m itching for all of these plotlines to tie back together. Lucifer mentioned Mary’s torture by Michael….we haven’t seen her or Jack since before the break. What’s going on? What about Kevin and Bobby? What about that portal left open at the end of “Wayward Sisters”? So many questions remain unanswered…where do we go from here?

In the past conventions you have gone to what have you carried for the cast to sign? I am coming across copywriting laws with pictures i find on Google search.
I’m usually a photo-op girl. You can always get your photo-ops signed. Creation has a booth set up where you can purchase photos of the cast for a very decent price and those can be signed. That’s what I did when I got Misha’s autograph. This year I’m taking my copy of “Family Don’t End in Blood” and some Pops.

New Year’s Resolution
How many of you actually stick with your New Year’s Resolution?
I don’t!
Tumblr media
This year will be different. Or at least that’s the plan. Maybe you out here in cyber-land can help hold me accountable. Yeah? (:
Alright...here they go...in no particular order:
1. Become healthier....If I lose weight, great. My main goal is to feel better in my body and do better for myself.
2. Write more....Fanfic, on this blog as it’s more of a personal one, and I want to create a new blog that involves other writers.
3. Begin the work of getting out of debt. My goal is to get rid of 2 credit cards and their debt this year.
I think three resolutions shouldn’t be too hard to handle. Right?
