Piece of cake

1- When they solo his leveling at the start and he gets cool (develops trauma)

2- When he goes from being rightfully angry at a serial killer to stopping mid fight to go Ah....I have lost another emotion... and then doesn't give a shit about anything for the next 30+ chapters.

3- When he goes from having zero friends to begrudgingly acknowledging that one guy as a 'little brother' and then proceeds not to give him a shit about him for 30+ chapters

4- When his "friend" gets beaten to a pulp and Solo leveling gets to be angry and invested in their relationship for a whole fight

Have you ever read Bride of the Wolf King/Ookami-heika no Hanayome? It’s not an isekai series but it does have a very puppy coded ml(wolf puppy I suppose) who falls first and fast for his fake wife/concubine (and in my opinion he’s a king with northern duke vibes)

The results you get from the English title are not what I assume you intended me to see, but the japanese title seems alright lol.

I never heard of it! Interesting that the guy looks like Akito Fruits Basket, but I'm usually not a fan of concubine stories :c

oh is lout of the count's family (or whatever title it is officially) good? i keep starting it but i never get very far because i keep getting distracted

Very much so! The first book can feel a little bland because they just do a lot of things nonstop, but eventually the characters really grow on you and the character development and worldbuilding were all positively surprising to me! I had a lot of fun and could barely put it down during the later books. Definetely recommend it!
