Land Rover Series 2 88" Soft Top 1960 Galvanised Chassis Restoration We are delighted to offer this lovely example of a Series 2. First built 4th October 1960 and first registered 23rd November 1960. The vehicle comes complete with it's original buff logbook and lots of paperwork including receipts for the restoration work. There is also an old picture showing the vehicle outside Alan Goodyear Ltd in Gainsborough who used to own the vehicle. The vehicle has been rebuilt to original specification and a vast majority of original parts were reused and new old stock parts where sourced where required. The restoration includes a new galvanised chassis. The vehicle is in by far one of the most classic colour combination marine blue with contrasting sand canvas. The bulkhead was refurbished with new pressed footwells and pillars. New galvanised Richards chassis. Gearbox fully refurbished. Engine rebuilt block and head have been chemically cleaned and pressure tested. Converted with unleaded head. New valves and seats so the vehicle can now run on unleaded. New black vinyl front and rear bench seats have been fitted. A new autosparks wiring loom, new swivels, suspension, steering rods, track rod ends, steering box rebuilt and a new steering relay. Brakes completely overhauled, axles fully rebuilt. New lights fitted all round. There is so much more to list. The vehicle is in immaculate condition and drives very well. The vehicle has always been dry stored and has travelled very few dry miles since the restoration was completed. A joy to drive and such fun, the vehicle will have a full 12-month MOT from the day of sale. #landrover #WilliamsClassics #landroverseries #landroverseries2 #1960s #1960 #88inch #MarineBlue (at North Wales) https://www.instagram.com/p/CmWwGIdsJBr/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Land Rover Series 3 88" Soft Top Galvanised Chassis & Bulkhead, 200 Tdi Conversion & Power Steering. This vehicle is one of the last Series 3 models which features the later rear body with the split indicators and brake lights, 11 inch front dual line brakes. First Registered 20th October 1983. This lovely restoration that has been subject to a ground up rebuild which has included a new galvanised chassis and galvanised bulkhead. The restorer also decided to incorporate a 200 Tdi engine into the rebuild which makes modern day use much more bearable particularly in traffic and on motorways. The upgrades are all very substantial and have been incorporated into the rebuild very well. The turbo has been removed. It runs really well without the turbo, due to the weight of the vehicle. This vehicle also benefits from power steering which makes a big difference. The rear crossmember was painted black to aid anti corrosion and to look as original. The axle casings were shot blasted and painted. Then rebuilt with all new brake parts, drums, shoes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, seals, shock absorbers. Parabolic springs have been fitted, new bushes, new brake pipes and hoses, new engine mounts, gearbox mounts, exhaust. Being a later Series 3 it benefits from dual line brakes and a servo which help with the braking power. All modifications have been well thought of and neatly hidden. So the overall appearance of the vehicle looks like a standard Series 3 until you see it overtaking you in the fast lane at 70+ mph. The vehicle is also fitted with an overdrive which significantly improves the drive, particularly on dual carriage ways and motorways. The vehicle will be supplied with a 12 months mot from the sale date. Photos really don't do this vehicle justice, it's strongly advised that you call and arrange a viewing. #landrover #WilliamsClassics #landroverseries #landroverseries3 #88inch #softtop #marineblue (at North Wales) https://www.instagram.com/p/CmL9XulsBsA/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

The vehicle was supplied to the Metropolitan Police in London. The vehicle has featured twice in Land Rover Owner Magazine, and most recently uncovering more of the vehicles history. It had a bench and a chair for the operator, two early mobile phone and a direction finding system. It also carried a full set of Ordnance Survey maps, so that in the days before Sat Nav it could work anywhere on the Uk mainland. The vehicle was then sold off through West Oxfordshire Motor Auction Ltd on 20th March 1998 with only 36,000 miles, the original invoice is in the history file. Along with lots of other invoices, mots and history. The vehicle is in good original condition, al beit with a few dents and scrapes from it's life. Land Rover Range Rover 3.9 V8 Auto Vogue 1991 Only 58,000 Miles from New 2 Owners, with the last owner for 27 years. A Rare Opportunity to Acquire an Exceptionally Original, Unmolested & Very Desirable 1991 Range Rover Vogue 3.9 EFi V8 Auto. First registered 1st May 1991. This car was purchased new from Trinity Motors (official Land Rover dealer) of Leicester and still bears the original dealer numbers plates. The car even has the bill of sale from 1995 for £15995.00, owners manual, full service history and invoices for all previous work, all the mots, workshop manuals, parts catalogues and an abundance of original accessory price lists. H654 HBC comes with all previous MOT's which shows the very small increase in mileage every year. In unique and such original condition we think this is one of the lowest mileage, owners best original un-restored 1991 examples available. A very rare find indeed and one unlikely ever to be repeated - truly remarkable! To find an unmolested example has become very hard, but to find one that has such a well recorded history file, only covered fifty-eight thousand miles, retains all of its original panels, its original chassis, engine, gearbox, interior and even all of its original factory paint finish well that's unheard of............... The wheels are factory correct, and have recently been fully refurbished to the highest standard. We have also fitted 4 brand new Goodyear wrangler tyres. The bulkhead is exceptionally solid and original, in fact as good as we have ever seen including both original footwells, the car has never had any welding and doesn't require any and it is now ready to go as you can see in the photographs. The door sills and arches are completely rust free which is very uncommon for this age. See our website for the full description. £29,995 #landrover #WilliamsClassics #rangeroverclassic #originalcondition #rangerover #1991 (at North Wales) https://www.instagram.com/p/CcicPzQsBxe/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Land Rover Series 1 80" Lights Behind the Grille 1950 Ex Military Model Built in 1949. Nut & Bolt Restoration In May 1949 Rovers managing director Spencer Wilks reported to the board of directors the first major order from the British Ministry of Supply of 1878 Land Rovers for British Military use. With the Land Rover already a massive international success and production bursting Solihull's war time factory bursting at the seams they began production of these vehicles in August 1949. Each carried a War Department issue registration number starting with 00 BC 01 to 18 BC 78. This 1950 model Land Rover was completed in December 1949 as a part of that original first contract. It's War Department issue registration is 12 BC 68 and it spent a little over a decade in service before being decommissioned in 1963. It was sold off and civilian registered in July 1963 with the current registration number at the County Borough Council of Birkenhead where it led a normal working life for the next 20 years in the area. In the early 1980's it was passed into hands of a Land Rover Series One Club member as a good solid runabout, but hand brush painted in Brown and Cream 1970's fence paint before coming off the road in the late 1980's. A full nut and bolt restoration has very recently been completed and it has been restored as per the original specification and painted in the original Bronze Green body colour and trimmed in original Green Vinyl. The vehicle still carries many of its original component parts from December 1949 and is easily ready for the next 70 years. The vehicle has correct early features such as the early 20/20 ammeter gauge, correct double wire door hinges, military style tyres, no drop plate as this wasn't fitted to Military vehicles, most had the spare wheel mount on the bonnet which this vehicle does have. The khaki canvas is more suited to a Military Land Rover. This is a lovely example of an exceptional rare vehicle.
