I heard you needed an Azutara ask. How about they both live in the same dorm/apartment complex, and they’re both rival streamers. but they have no idea that they live in such close proximity. I’ll leave the rest to you.

I'm not sure it's anything I could write (I don't know enough about streaming lol), but here's some initial ideas that this has sparked!:

The two of them are constantly involved in drama with each other and it always puts their views up

There is a section of each of their fanbases who actually ship them as being together

They would definitely both be gamers and they have the uncanny ability of ending up in each others games to the point that their fans think that it has to be a set up to keep the drama going

They both have equal levels of skill which drives them each insane

One of them doesn't use a face cam, so when they eventually do meet, only one of them is aware of what is happening until it is revealed (I'm thinking it would have to be Katara because Azula has a very distinctive voice lol)

Eventually they get together and the shippers go crazy lol

What would their families think of eachother so rina and ursa about katara's family and the other way around with katara's family. And what would happrn if they would meet eachother do you think.

I think that Katara's family may be a little judgemental of Ursa depending on what point they meet her at? Like if it's years into Azula and Katara's relationship and they'd only just found Ursa in Hira's (We're ignoring the face swap and memory wipes, this is not canon in my mind lol). I think that they would struggle to understand how she could leave Azula and Zuko with Ozai

Eventually, after a lot of tension, I think they would start to understand and would get along well though. This would probably require Ursa explaining everything to Azula though, I can see Katara's family being on Azula's side all the way through any potential conflict!

On Ursa and Rina's side, I think they would think very highly of Katara's family and everything they did in the war. RIna would probably have been taught a lot about the other nations by Roku (maybe even got to visit them when she was younger?) which she would have passed onto Ursa. This would mean that they know exactly how to be respectful towards them and would have plenty of questions about the Southern Water Tribe to keep the conversation going!

I've always seen Kanna as being completely okay with this, I'm not 100% clear on how old she is, but I think she would have some positive memories of the Fire Nation and would understand that they are not all about war mongering? -- She would feel very maternal towards Azula I think, probably recognising that she needs people around her to help her?

I do believe that Hakoda would have more trouble with this, he's spent his life torn away from his family and he lost his wife because of Azula's family, plus he would have seen her at the Boiling Rock! He would have to learn to accpet that she was just a child who was fighting for her nation just like Katara was.

For Kya, I've never had a clear view of her character, a lot like Katara and Sokka I think? Katara would definitely be worried about how her mother would take her relationship but she can only really see it through the lens of what happened to her which is her clearest memory of her?

I would like to believe that Kya would like her though, she would be fully supportive of anyone who can makes her daughter happy?

(This is making me imagine a one-shot of Azula somehow meeting Kya in the Spirit World and being threatened to not hurt her daughter lol)

Between Azula and Katara who'd make a more effective vampire, and who do you think would be cool as a vampire

I think this would really depend on the kind of vampire we're talking about

I can definitely see Azula the more brooding, ancient one who hates that she still has to go to college (thinking of Carmilia!). She would unwittingly fall in love with her roommate (Katara) while trying to do whatever job she was given by her father?

If Katara was a vampire, I think she would be more like Juliette Fairmont from First Kill. She just wants to be normal and is an awkward teenager who falls in love with a hunter (Azula).

So here is a couple that come to mind (sorry if I've said them before, I'm losing track lol):

I really believed that part of lightning bending includes preventing the lightening from scarring your skin, which Azula was always really good at. During Sozin's Comet, she wasn't in the right frame of mind for this so she ends up with extensive scarring over her arms. Katara is the first person to find out about this because she refused to show them to anyone else.

I think that Azula would be reluctant to get married because she can only model it on her parents marriage so she just associates it with duty rather than love. Hearing Hakoda tell stories about Kya changes her mind and is what sets her on her plans to propose to Katara.

To answer your second question, I think it will really depend on how I feel after finishing the Avatar Azula AU. I've literally been writing it for years so I don't think I can see myself writing something as elaborate again but I will definitely look to finish all of the prompts in my inbox (Sorry to anyone waiting for a prompt, I'm a lot slower in writing than I would like!)

I’ve always thought it was to prove that she deserved to be treated as more than just a princess?

Growing up, she was last in line and she would have seen the life a princess lives in a loveless political marriage with her mother, she didn’t want that, she wanted to help to win the war and prove that she shouldn’t be married off and sent away from her home

Somewhere along the way, she would realise that she also wants family which is why she protects Zuko, thinking that she’s secured her status after conquering Ba Sing Se?
