I really love the scene in TDR where Perrin works with the blacksmith in Tear. I love that he immediately starts making something to compliment what the blacksmith is working on, and that he offers to do whatever is needed, just for the joy of creation. The whole scene is so cozy, a reprieve to heal from the chaos before jumping right back in.

I’m on the fifth book and I have discovered that it is legit official canon that Rand al’Thor has a cute ass.

I just felt that I should mention that, in case anyone is on the fence about reading Wheel of Time.

Oh and it has awesome strong female characters— as in they have significant lives and plotlines of their own— but also the bland male protagonist has a cute ass, which is very important.
