I mean, we know it's not going to last, Oliver has been pushing Buddie in every single interview he's done since 7x04 aired, has admitted Buddie should've gone canon after 4x14 but it got shut down from higher up, and then dangled the possibility of a Buddie wedding happening, posting and liking Buddie fanart!

And yet, nada about Buck and Tommy. "Oh, he's going to be there as a friend..."

You know Buck didn’t actually need a ‘first boyfriend’ he could have realised he was into guys from a guy he met on a call, and just casually added guys into his lineup of dating app matches, and we could have seen him casually dating and that would have been an equally validating Buck is Bi storyline, they gave him an actual boyfriend to make Eddie jealous, hence the highlighting of Eddie’s importance in this arc, Eddie is the center of Bucks relationship with another man because it’s always been about Eddie

I've started watching 911 because Buck is canonically bi now, and jeeesus christ this boy is like half in love with Eddie by episode 3 of s2!!! this aint no slowburn boys! this is right out the gate!

i thought it was common sense that if a man who is involved in a seasons long queer ship with a lot of tension, finally becomes canonically bisexual that means that tension is also canon and a huge part of his identity bc those things are intertwined and the queer fans who saw that, we were right. but apparently its not. even though oliver said we were right. whatever
