Wait pleaser consider!! Space siren Lyfrassir!! It sounds silly but hear me out!!

In certain sectors of space, over the centuries stories spread about some entity occasionally spotted floating about in void beyond the safety of space crafts. Now of course cryptid stories like these aren't uncommon in certain cultures, but it's widespread enough of a story, and the experiences just unnerving enough to stick out to people.

Another problem is it seems to target lone travelers, which can be written off as a hallucination or figment of imagination and tall tales as a result of solitary travels. Isolation for most species is dangerous for the mind period, but the vastness of space can overwhelm and consume. It's best not to travel alone.

Whatever this person or thing is is unclear, as it's form is ever shifting. Some claim it the be a beautiful androgynous humanoid figure, floating so carefree and graceful as to be swimming like a siren. Others call it a mass storm cloud of distortion and static and chaos. The one thing all can agree on is the presence of the shimmering, undulating rainbow hues of colors they shouldn't even be able to bare witnesses to.

Whatever it's form, it tends to draw its victims in. Lures them close and out, persuading travelers to join it in the cold inky darkness and beyond. Leave the ship, and allow the embrace of rainbow teeth and melted bismuth.

It swears to them of a release of all pain and worry, and it begs to share it's stories with someone.

It's unclear how many have followed it into the void, into the nightmarish realm of colors and screams. Although, even if you believe the stories to be made up, only of mania and attention starvation, the few that claim to resist it's call refuse to travel alone ever again.

This entity has a mind of it's own sometimes. Just sometimes. It wonders if people found it's story. It wonders if anyone has connected the dots, realized that it as it is now, and the person muttering about a Black Box into a small audio recorder are the same person. If they know these two things are, while simultaneously the same, just as much not the same. Does anyone have a clue? Would anyone know it's story? How it was consumed? How it was reborn? Maybe it should share it itself. It needs to find someone to tell... It doesn't want to forget itself again... It doesn't want to be forgotten again...
