I know, I know, you'll probably be surprised and asking yourself if I'm some sort of goody two shoes angel, since I don't drink and don't smoke." She snorted and listened to him talk. "So... What you're basically asking if I'm an adept of the 'I can fix them' movement?" The young woman smirked but shook her head. "I don't think someone should feel forced to change for someone if they don't want to do it for themselves. The whole idea of changing someone as if they are your personal 'DiY' project is a big ass bullshit and nothing more than a delusion. People will and should change only if they wanna do it. If it's something done out of constraint, it will not be effective and it'll only be a matter of time until they revert back to the old habits. That's why rehabilitation isn't always successful if the patient themselves doesn't want to do it out of their own free will."

Lighting his cigarette, he displayed a content expression. Upon taking the first drag, the earthy taste with a pinch of bitterness spread through his mouth. The sweet rush of nicotin soon followed through his veins, giving the body the much anticipated release. "I'm glad that it's mutual - and I intend to keep it like that. For the period of her answer, Tora kept silent and listened with intent. There was a short little pang inside his head when Kukki mentioned the rehab situation. Oh, didn't that sound familiar? He adjusted his seating position.

"I follow your reasoning when it comes to that kind of stuff and to that scale. How do you feel about the... grander thing? As in 'the dire need to make things more efficient' in the overall believe to achieve something better for everyone and everything. Also the fact that we dare - or at least try - to tell nature and ecosystems how to work

Kukki herself was a chill and open spirit, okay with any conversational topics that weren't hateful or disrespectful in nature.

A small box of cigarettes appeared and with a gesture, he offered her one. For a short moment his eyes lingered on the small pack of toxins, which apparantely gave him an idea. "Do you think humans are obligated to better themselves? For whom and why?"

"So I take it you're still in the mood for philosophical ramblings?" Kukki giggled softly. Given Tora's casual and pretty laid back attitude and look, Kukki wouldn't have considered him to be the brooding type that rummaged on the mysteries of life, but maybe the fact that he precisely didn't fit the stereotype of his rockstar, gamer look, was what intrigued her most about him. "What should we talk about today? The uncertainty of the human nature? Or perhaps the duality of the soul and the mind?"

"Absolutely. You are always free to approach me with whatever concept you are currently pondering about", the musician nodded with a bit of pride to it. While it was true, he may not have read the works of Lao Tse, Seneca or Socrates, he wasn't bound to the hobbies and passions he may present at first glance. As a matter of fact - Tora hadn't really touched any book in years. Yet, he simply liked to defy the odds.

"Which question is roaming around your head more? We could also talk about convergent evolution - and how it affects the way we perceive music", while his smile could be taken for a friendly one, there was the hint of a challenge beneath the first layer.

"It's always time for a drink. Whether a mocking one, or a alcoholic one. Hydrate yourself however you need. I can philosophize either way. At least I like to believe that!"
