hello everyone. my name is daed and i'm an audhd individual from ohio, living in las vegas. i moved out here a couple of years ago with my wife, but we have since separated and she is living elsewhere while i try to recover from a nervous breakdown. i have no nearby family or friends, only work colleagues and my cat.

as it is, i'm currently behind on my rent, and have been given until 10:45pm PST on 11/28/23 to come up with the rest of it. i don't have much in the way of groceries, but i do have a bus pass to and from work, so at the moment, i'm just looking for help with my rent. any kind of help i can, as i don't qualify for any government grants or help (in this state, you either have to NOT be working or be over the age of 62 to get aid).

if anyone can please, please help, i'd be happy to pay them back. i'll be keeping track of who i owe what, and would also be happy to do commissions, though i'll be at work until 9pm. anyone who is interested in a commission or helping can contact me on discord at @mister.eggman. in addition to the methods below, i also have zelle and a few others, you just have to reach out.

------- 'don't get too cocky, attano. more experienced men than you have gone after these men, and failed.' the watch commander's voice echoes in corvo's head as he slinks through the shadows, low and quick as he traverses the city. karnaca is his home, always has been, and he knows how to navigate it far better than the other men in his squadron.

he's going after information he'd gotten from one of the black market dealers here in the city-- dealers that they'd been told to ignore for the right amount of coin. but they were a source of information for the guard, same as any other, and they'd been the ones to tell him that these bodies dropping were not, in fact, the work of many different assassins, but just one. no one had given him a name, but they had given him a location and a time. sit and wait, son, he'll show himself.

------- he wouldn't put it past the dealer to have tipped this man off, but as he finds his spot and waits in the shadows, a well of dread begins in his stomach. what if this guy doesn't show? what if he does? he's so lost in his anxiety that he almost doesn't see the man step into the alleyway below. almost. the thinner, younger man springs into action, slipping down to rest behind him, giving him space and watching to see what he does.
