So glad I'm off tomorrow. Had some annoying customers at the end of my shift AND I got my period at work today so I've been grumpy all night and just generally feeling mentally crummy. I hope I feel better after sleeping, but at least I know tomorrow can be a self-care day regardless
Hmm might have an underactive thyroid hope it's not so bad the dr gives me meds because I cannot stress how much I do not want to take two meds every day and I especially do not want to take meds in the morning since I have shift work and it is impossible for me to have the same schedule every day and be able to have a life
Yesterday I had a physical, saw my grandparents who were a pain in the butt, built two bookcases for them in their hot ass house, moved furniture around for them, waited while my dad set up their new tv, and then we finally got to leave. It was a long day yesterday.
Today I had therapy intake which went well and got my blood work results (everything seems normal so they'll probably just tell me it's normal) so a little bit of anxiety but nothing too bad. Do have to goto work soon which sucks though. My days off flew by and yesterday my regular life was so busy
Today was a truck day so I had to get up early which means I took a long nap when I came home from work which means I'm wide awake. At least I'm off tomorrow!
Management complains about there being lots of callouts lately but 1. allergies and illness can reasonably prevent people from working, and coming in sick only spreads it to more coworkers who then also call out 2. working conditions have been awful lately, of course people get fed up. Managers aren't even doing anything to make conditions better 3. this is mostly corporate's fault but payroll is so absurdly tight we're running on a skeleton crew most days and so if people call out and are not replaced the people who do work are overworked even more than they would already be, meaning some are burning out and then calling out, creating a vicious cycle
I can understand a celebrity needing a private flight for long distances/tours. I do not understand the short trips for distances she could easily take a (also private!!!) car.
