tbh i hope ppl who have ever called polyamory disgusting and greedy and “uncouth” comes to realize at some point in their lives that you couldn’t possibly understand the way a polyamorous relationship works because you don’t have enough love in you nor a critical understanding of how monogamy has structured your perspectives of love to even begin imagining that someone could love more than one person, where all these said people love each other in fair and synonymous harmony

it just frustrates me so much, in all my life i’ve only ever seen one good representation of polyamory (through the book “the iron widow” btw) and it just is so disgusting to me how people can see real love happening between people with their eyes and then call it disgusting and gluttonous and comparable to cheating

like don’t you understand this is exactly what was done to gay people

granted it’s hard to find representation for polyamory these days, when everything is so monogamously based, “representation” of polyamory only ends up being attempts at rage bait to trend and gain money from it
