It’s solar and wind and tidal and geothermal and hydropower.
It’s plant-based diets and regenerative livestock farming and insect protein and lab-grown meat.
It’s electric cars and reliable public transit and decreasing how far and how often we travel.
It’s growing your own vegetables and community gardens and vertical farms and supporting local producers.
It’s rewilding the countryside and greening cities.
It’s getting people active and improving disabled access.
It’s making your own clothes and buying or swapping sustainable stuff with your neighbours.
It’s the right to repair and reducing consumption in the first place.
It’s greater land rights for the commons and indigenous peoples and creating protected areas.
It’s radical, drastic change and community consensus.
It’s labour rights and less work.
It’s science and arts.
It’s theoretical academic thought and concrete practical action.
It’s signing petitions and campaigning and protesting and civil disobedience.
It’s sailboats and zeppelins.
It’s the speculative and the possible.
It’s raising living standards and curbing consumerism.
It’s global and local.
It’s me and you.
Climate solutions look different for everyone, and we all have something to offer.

To lift a curse and save a town, Geralt sacrifices a cherished memory—the face of his beloved. Though he agrees to this sacrifice for the greater good, upon awakening, he finds himself remembering everyone, including Ciri, Yennefer, and his comrades.
Puzzled by his intact memories, Geralt seeks solace with Ciri and Yennefer, hoping for a return to normalcy. One day, Yennefer surprises him by mentioning a bard she intends to fetch. Though Geralt is unaware of any bard known to Yennefer, he agrees to accompany her.
Upon meeting the bard, Jaskier, Geralt is struck by his captivating beauty, a sight that leaves him spellbound

"A funny thing happened on the way to the enshittocene: Google – which astonished the world when it reinvented search, blowing Altavista and Yahoo out of the water with a search tool that seemed magic – suddenly turned into a pile of shit.
Google's search results are terrible. The top of the page is dominated by spam, scams, and ads. A surprising number of those ads are scams. Sometimes, these are high-stakes scams played out by well-resourced adversaries who stand to make a fortune by tricking Google[...]
Google operates one of the world's most consequential security system – The Algorithm (TM) – in total secrecy. We're not allowed to know how Google's ranking system works, what its criteria are, or even when it changes: "If we told you that, the spammers would win."
Well, they kept it a secret, and the spammers won anyway.
...
Some of the biggest, most powerful, most trusted publications in the world have a side-hustle in quietly producing SEO-friendly "10 Best ___________ of 2024" lists: Rolling Stone, Forbes, US News and Report, CNN, New York Magazine, CNN, CNET, Tom's Guide, and more.
Google literally has one job: to detect this kind of thing and crush it. The deal we made with Google was, "You monopolize search and use your monopoly rents to ensure that we never, ever try another search engine. In return, you will somehow distinguish between low-effort, useless nonsense and good information. You promised us that if you got to be the unelected, permanent overlord of all information access, you would 'organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.'"
They broke the deal." -Cory Doctorow

Everytime a cis women tries to argue against gender neutral language in medical settings it becomes very clear they care more about their comfort then trans men being denied medical care and dying.
I don’t care how ‘uncomfortable’ the terms person with a uterus, person who can give birth, person with breasts, etc. makes you. I very much care more about trans men having access to medical care than a cis person’s feelings.

The moment I read someone say shit complaining abt “trans men who cling on to femininity” I just tune out. Like woa. What the fuck are you talking about. Stop sending me very transphobic asks pretending like you’re being progressive for hating feminine trans guys.

a lot of the lgbtq+ spaces I used to frequent and orgs I used to support have been posting antisemitic content and hamas apologia. it’s starting to hit me that I’m queer and I’m not going to have a community for pride because I’m not a good enough Jew. I don’t know how to mourn that.

The fight for a better world, is many fights: for all workers, in all countries and nations, in all industries and jobs, of all genders and sexualities.

I feel like the way trans men get fetishized isn't talked about enough; or maybe just not compiled into one thing, but especially with things like mpreg, which i'm definitely seeing more mention of now adays, I would say it's a pretty well known fetish, and it's literally something that trans men can and have done, the real thing. we can't pretend they're not connected. This is separate from the cuntboy stuff, which is in fact different but also connected.
I'm not against kink or fetish either, in fact finding out that your body is wanted and desired can be extremely empowering and awesome, obviously the issue is the dehumanization , and what I see when people mention male pregnancy, as in a trans man, people react in the same exact ways that they do when mpreg is mentioned. Horror, disgust, disbelief, anger, misogyny, they treat everything we do as a fetish. Even if they don't know about mpreg they think that real life person is a sick freak. There was even that a with the picture of a chestfeeding trans man, and he got called a predator. the picture of Even Hempel is what i'm talking about. There was that post about penises and how they're fetishized, someone mentioned he was accused of having a dildo in his pants. People think that wanting a penis, wearing a packer, is also a sex thing. I'm bringing in the Freud penis envy thing too.
The way gay trans men are treated? Come on. "Fujoshi" alone? come. on. we're fetishized for uteruses and chests and penises or lack there of, for our attraction? literally every part.
