Nick and Charlie are going to have this in their home.

nick helped charlie and oliver build a big tractor out of cardboard boxes. nick babysat oliver after charlie's relapse, when he and the rest of the springs had to go to the ed clinic with him. nick was with charlie when they spoke to tori about going to the clay because they were worried about her. nick took the phone from charlie and yelled at her to get out of the crowd and back to the car at the clay. nick yelled at tori on the way to A&E after her arm got burned. nick waited there with charlie and tori.

nick is already a part of the family. he and charlie dont need to be married for him to become a part of the family. hes already part of it.
