2024 Mothers Day Gift Guide
2024 Mother’s Day Gift Guide https://ift.tt/HpRDExC Sharing some gift ideas for all of the ladies in your life! Moms, grandmas, nanas, friends, mom figures, new moms, whoever you want to shower with something special this Mother’s Day. I also wanted to recognize here that I know Mother’s Day can be hard and sad for various reasons; please know I’m holding you in my heart.  Hi friends! How was the weekend? I hope you had a wonderful one. Liv had a dance competition, so we enjoyed a trip to Phoenix with swimming and dinners out in between all of the dancing. The Pilot stayed here with P to take her to practice and basketball game. We’re officially at the “divide and conquer” stage of parenting. For today’s post, I wanted to share some Mother’s Day gift ideas. I’m not requesting a lot gift-wise this year – my ideal gift looks like tickets for a show or a vacation! – but am absolutely looking forward to celebrating all of the women in our family we love so much. I thought I’d share some ideas if you’re shopping, and I’d love to hear your gift guide picks, too! Flowers and plants: Venus et fluer flowers. I get ad-targeted for these on Facebook ALL THE TIME and they’re SO GORGEOUS. The roses last an entire year! Heart shaped succulent planter. Love succulents, and since they’re so hardy, it doesn’t matter so much if you have a black thumb. These pop-up cards are so pretty and unique! This customizable concrete planter with a little air plant. I got these for my mom and nana last year and love the way they turned out. The quality is incredible, too!   Personalized + jewelry: Handwriting bracelet. This one is designed based on your own handwriting. Hand painted earrings. These Maya Brenner necklaces are SO gorgeous. (Ok, I do want this.) Stackable name rings. I have some initial rings for Liv and P, and they’re my favorite jewelry. It’s such a dainty and sweet gift idea. Baby bird necklace. Initial pendant necklace.  “Mama” script ring. This gorgeous mothers and daughters print. A stretch bracelet with a boost of motivation. Clothes + beauty: The best “everything” dress. Dress it up or down; it’s perfection. Classic Tory Burch tote. The color is a surprising neutral. This is another great tote that can double as a diaper bag or beach bag. These pajamas or these pajamas. My two faves ever. Mama bracelet. Fruit babies bestsellers. Low-top classic white sneakers.  Classic Birks. These pearl hoops. I have a similar pair and they give a little big of a statement while remaining classic. A gorgeous CZ tennis bracelet. ANYTHING from Vuori! I’m obsessed with their performance joggers and jumpsuits. They have a full Mother’s Day gift guide here if you need more ideas! A comfy and luxe robe. I have a very similar one and it’s a lighter fabric for spring/summer. Pure silk pillowcase. Miller sandals with a little extra support. Love it! The best sleep mask. This is a staple in my life (I even travel with it), and I sleep better and more soundly when I use it. A Drybar blow-dryer brush. Ergonomic eye mask. Home + entertaining: A round marble cheese board. The CUTEST Le Creuset dish. A gorgeous floral pitcher. The best humidifier for dry summer months. (use code FITNESSISTA) A gift box from my fave spot for local goodies: Creative Kind! They make the most beautiful custom boxes. The softest and coziest blanket.  These cozy Mama Bear slippers. A self-heating mug.  Under $30: A peony candle! A cheeky dishtowel. “I like big bundts” is my #1. Motherhood is a walk in the park. Jurassic Park. A customized dog oven mitt. For the fitness-loving mamas: A new yoga mat (

Friday Faves 4.26
Friday Faves 4.26 https://ift.tt/FUxeoGb Sharing the weekly Friday Faves roundup! Hi friends! Happy Friday!! How are you? I hope you’re having a lovely week so far. Liv and I are off to Phoenix for a dance competition. She has a gorgeous solo and I love watching her team perform – it’s going to be a blast. I hope you have a fun weekend ahead! (After-school treats at Dedicated) It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below. Friday Faves 4.26 Home: I’m seriously loving our new Air Doctor situation. The air in our house feels fresh and clean, and it’s wild to see what the filter is picking up. I wish we would have gotten them sooner! A new air fryer. You guys know I’ve been on the hunt for a nontoxic air fryer, and I found a glass one with decent reviews. (I debated a stainless steel one, but some of the reviews said they still had internal plastic parts and a chemical smell.) It’s SO pretty and I’ll definitely report back. Read, watch, listen: Really enjoyed this podcast episode with Dr. Hyman. It seems like Dr. Cabral aligns with a lot of his messaging. Check out the latest podcast episode here. Embracing aging. If you’re looking for a fun spring read, I definitely recommend this one. I have about 20 pages left and don’t want it to end! Health, fitness, and good eats: I have something exciting coming up next month if you’re looking to take your health and fitness to the next level this summer. Stay tuned for more info!! Neighborhood block party! We have amazing neighbors, and this past weekend, we all enjoyed wine and delicious food together. My contributions to the feast were a Mediterranean-style pasta salad: (Trader Joe’s gf pasta, sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, bell pepper, kalamata olives, feta, oregano, lemon juice, mint, olive oil, salt and pepper) Brownie-cookie-Oreo bars, and this mixed berry crumble (I used gf flour). Bodyweight HIIT workout. Fashion and beauty: New RX sunnies! I did a Warby Parker home try-on for sunglasses and decided to order the Rhea sunglasses in truffle tortoise. I got my last pair of rx sunglasses last-minute at Eye Mart before our Italy and Greece trip, and while they’ve definitely served their purpose, they are so heavy on my face. I love Warby Parker’s quality so I have my fingers crossed that these will be lighter and more comfortable. I tend to wear glasses for the first part of the day or if I know I’ll be outside a lot, and love having rx sunglasses for walks, hikes, and swims. This dress!! I mentioned it in last week’s Friday Faves post and didn’t attach a pic. I love that it looks like a La Vie Style House dress at a fraction of the cost. I ordered it in black, too! (Heads up: size down. I’m wearing an XS) Happy Friday! Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today and I’ll see you soon! xo Gina The post Friday Faves 4.26 appeared first on The Fitnessista. via The Fitnessista https://ift.tt/RomwA68 April 26, 2024 at 11:39AM

Coffee date chat
Coffee date chat https://ift.tt/StdJLqg Having a coffee date chat with some of my best blog friends. Hi! How’s the morning going? I hope you’re having a great one so far. It’s been a little while since we’ve had a coffee or juice chat around here, so let’s grab a favorite beverage and catch up a bit today. I’d probably ask you to join me at Dedicated, because it’s my favorite local bakery right now. Everything is gluten-free and their coffee drinks are amazing! If we were having coffee right now…. I’d want to hear what’s going on with YOU. How are the human and/or fur children? How’s life? What do you have going on right now? We’d probably talk about spring fever and summer plans. I’m SO READY for school (and homework!) to be over for the kids. I’m ready for late-night swims, slow mornings, and enjoying more time together. As far as summer travel goes, we’re headed to Hawaii this summer (can’t wait!!!) and I have multiple price alerts set for Spain. If the airline prices drop a little, we’re IN. I’d want to know where you’ve been shopping lately. I feel like everything has been a little blah so far this season, but so far, I’m really loving Abercrombie (surprisingly!), Amazon finds (like this dress and this set), and Farm Rio. I’m still doing the RTR Unlimited subscription and it’s a nice way to keep things fresh without buying all the things lol. I’d tell you about my garden. When I had all of my eye issues last spring, I let everything die. I didn’t want to be outside in the soil and wind since my eyes were so irritated, so my garden became survival of the fittest. Somehow, zucchinis grew the size of my forearm, one gigantic beet survived, and our rose bushes made it! They’re all blooming now and smell amazing. The Pilot built a new garden bed, we planted some new things for spring, and I’m excited to have a garden again. I’d ask you what workouts you’ve been into lately. I’m still loving Sculpt Society, F45, barre, hiking, and hot yoga. I’d probably chat with you about military life. The Pilot will be retired this winter and I can’t even believe it. I shared more in this vulnerable Instagram post, but I’m not going to be sad when it’s over. So much of military life is based on anxiety and worry, and waiting. Waiting for the next assignment, waiting for deployment to be over, waiting until things calm down (

Abercrombie Spring Fashion Finds
Abercrombie Spring Fashion Finds https://ift.tt/qbYQ0at From breezy dresses to trendy denim and flattering swimwear, I’m sharing my favorite Abercrombie spring fashion finds! Hi friends! How are you? I hope you enjoyed the weekend! Ours was packed with fun events and the girls got in their first swim of the season. I’d love to hear what you were up to! For today’s post, I wanted to share some cute Abercrombie finds for spring and summer! I fought the Abercrombie resurgence for so many years… it just brought back memories of a popped collar polo with a lacy tank underneath, short frayed denim skirt, and Rainbow sandals 🙂 I worked at Abercrombie in high school – I wasn’t cool enough to be a “model” but I was a super efficient cashier I tell ya – and spent my entire paychecks on clothes. Needless to say, when I saw Abercrombie making a comeback for our generation (those who don’t want to look too young but also not too matronly), I was skeptical. Then, I started to see more and more of it, and realized that the quality is still there, but the styles are more classic. It also gives off a Reformation-ish vibe, and I’m here for it. They have SO many cute things right now, so I wanted to dedicate a post to sharing some of my faves. Here are the goods! Abercrombie Spring Fashion Finds These tailored pants. This everyday mini dress. This linen blend blazer. This bodysuit. These high-waisted denim shorts. This maxi dress. This cut-out maxi dress. This bandeau bikini top + bottoms. This crochet cover-up. These straw sandals. This puff sleeve floral dress. More Favorites This pleated active skirt. This squareneck cropped tank. Satin sleep shirt + shorts. This oversized cropped poplin blouse. Nutrition Tips for a Healthier Life
Nutrition Tips for a Healthier Life https://ift.tt/8SkaChu A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes is healthy and balanced. It also includes lower amounts of refined grains, processed meats, sugary drinks, and red and processed food. A plant-based diet that is full of minimally processed or whole food products is considered to be healthy. It can include various dietary patterns rich in fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, and nuts. These diets can help lower greenhouse gas emissions and improve the health of our planet. Here are a few nutrition tips to get you on the path to wellness. Fruits & Veggies According to NHS, eating at least five portions of fruit and vegetables daily is essential. These can be either fresh, frozen, or canned. For instance, you can chop a banana and add it to your morning cereal instead of eating it alone at breakfast. One serving of fruit or vegetable is 80g, while a portion of dried fruit is 30g. Although a 150ml glass of fruit juice or vegetable juice can be counted as one portion, limit the amount of this drink to no more than one glass a day due to how these can damage your teeth. Going for Whole Grains Whole grains, which include whole wheat crackers, whole grain bread, and brown or wild rice, are great for keeping you full and healthy. They are also filled with protein, fiber, and vitamins B and C. If you’re looking for a more refined or processed option, choose whole grains instead of pasta and white bread. Whole Foods To improve your diet, choose food that is natural and unprocessed. You should add more vegetables and fruits to your diet and replace processed food with better options. Don’t Forget Your Protein Having a protein-rich diet can help maintain a healthy blood sugar level. Some studies suggest that high-protein diets can help lower the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Nuts and Seeds Although some people avoid nuts due to their high fat content, they are still nutritious and can help lower your risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes. They are also filled with fiber, protein, and other nutrients. Reduce Sugar High-calorie drinks and food high in sugar can increase your risk of obesity and tooth decay. These can also contribute to weight gain and cause dental decay if eaten between meals. Unsweetened fruit juices, syrups, and honey are naturally added to food and drinks, and these are referred to as free sugars, which are the kind that you should be reducing. Many packaged beverages and food products have high amounts of these. Summer Sangria
Summer Sangria https://ift.tt/iqnf8QS I believe that it’s always a good time for sangria, so please feel free to replace “summer” in the name of this easy summer sangria recipe with the season of your choice 😉 Sangria, or wine punch, is a fantastic party beverage, especially if you can make it at home and let it sit in the fridge overnight. I made last night’s sangria at the BBQ we went to, because I had visions of exploding sangria and the Pilot’s car smelling like wine and brandy for the rest of the year. I personally don’t mind the smell of wine and brandy, though… For this recipe, I like to use inexpensive dry red wine, like a cheap Spanish wine. If you prefer white wine, you could definitely swap the red wine for pinot grigio or sauvignon blanc and make a white wine sangria that tastes just as delicious. I know plenty of people who also like to add lemon lime soda for some carbonation, but you can skip adding that and not miss a thing. After all, the key ingredients here are the fresh fruits (summer fruit in this case) and wine for sangria that’s off the charts amazing yet surprisingly simple. Summer Sangria Recipe Print Summer Sangria Print Recipe 5 Stars 4 Stars 3 Stars 2 Stars 1 Star No reviews Yield: 2 Ingredients 2 green apples, sliced 1 orange, sliced 1 lemon, sliced juice of one orange (1/4 to 1/2 cup) 1/4 C sugar, divided 2 C orange juice (store bought) 1 C brandy 1 C triple sec 1 supersize bottle of *inexpensive* dry red wine OR 1.5 regular bottles Equipment 2 large pitchers Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark Instructions Add half of all the ingredients to each pitcher Stir to combine Serve over fresh ice cubes Enjoy! Notes Halve the recipe to make just one pitcher Did you make this recipe? Tag @fitnessista on Instagram       It’s super refreshing, not too sweet and a party beverage staple in our house. I’m off to get some groceries for the week and hit up a spin class. Hope you have a wonderful day and I’ll see ya later

Friday Faves 4.12
Friday Faves 4.12 https://ift.tt/BqnXdY2 Hi friends! Happy Friday!! How was the week? I hope you had an amazing one. Ours was good; busy as usual, but time for some fun in the mix of school and work stuff. What’s going on this weekend? P has a basketball game and a birthday party, and it’s her First Communion. We’re having brunch to celebrate with the fam. Liv has dance, it’s our nephew’s bday, and the Pilot and I have a date night. We also want to plant all of the spring/summer flowers and veggies! I let everything die last year with the eye saga, so I’m looking forward to starting over. I’d love to hear what you have going on. (Pic from a fun event last weekend with friends) It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below. Friday Faves. 4.12 Read, watch, listen: So excited to be a guest on the IHP Coach Success podcast this week. You can check out the episode here. Devouring this book! Abby Jimenez is one of my fave spring/summer authors because her books are perfectly light and fluffy, with fun storylines and witty banter. The best advice I’ve heard in ages. (Crepe date with my little loves.) Fitness, health, + good eats: LOOOOOVE this chocolate zucchini cake from Baked by Melissa. My friend Betsy posted about it weeks ago and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. It definitely lived up to expectations. I’ve been enjoying the High Performance Health modules and have learned so much already. I’m excited to implement these strategies with my 1:1 clients (and myself!). If you’re interested in this certification, you can check it out here and use the code FITNESSISTA for $100 off. Spring mocktail recipes.  Get a copy of my wellness resources master list. Fashion + beauty: I have my eye on this Free People dress but am not sure about the color. I adore the lace and the cut, so I might go for it. Beautycounter Second Skin! I took our fragrance quiz, and it told me to try Hyper Rose (which I already adore) and Second Skin. This one smells so luxe and ages beautifully as it dries. It’s floral with a warmth from the amber, and I can definitely see why it’s a bestseller. The fragrance discovery set is here. This is my favorite way to try all of them, and see which one works the best on your skin. New Amazon set: (they have a ton of colors, too) Happy Friday, friends! Have an amazing weekend and thank you so much for stopping by the blog today. xo Gina The post Friday Faves 4.12 appeared first on The Fitnessista. via The Fitnessista https://ift.tt/yq5H2n9 April 12, 2024 at 06:17AM

Week of workouts
Week of workouts https://ift.tt/JAt4W86 Sharing a glimpse of how I structure my weekly workouts. Hiiiii! How are you? I hope you’re having an amazing morning! We’re at Disneyland today and I can’t wait to ride all of the rides, eat Disney treats, and enjoy some fun memories with my favorite people. While I won’t be getting in any *official* workouts this week, I’ll definitely be walking 20k steps per day (minus the long drive home). For today’s post, I thought i’d share a little bit about what my workouts have been like lately and how I structure my weeks. It varies week by week, but here are some of the things I like to include: 3 strength classes – I’ll mix it up between F45, pure barre Define (my fave right now!), and Fit Team strength workouts (low-impact modifications) 1-2 hot yoga or barre classes (I teach barre every other week and do about 80% of the workout with the class) 1-2 cardio days on the Peloton and/or Sculpt Society (this link gets you a free trial on the app!) 1-2 days OFF Week of workouts Here’s what a week might look like: Sunday: OFF Monday: Hot yoga or power yoga Tuesday: F45 total body or Fit Team total body Wednesday: Peloton or Sculpt Society Thursday: F45 legs or Fit Team legs  Friday: pure barre (Define or Classic), or Pilates Saturday: Hike, Sculpt Society, or off I also walk Maisey every day (usually 1-2 miles around the neighborhood) or stroll on my walking pad during meetings You might notice that it’s not a ton of cardio, and not a lot of interval training. I FINALLY feel like I’m in a place where I’m able to push myself a little with cardio again. Cardio releases histamine – it was a trigger for my eyes- and can also deplete you further when you have autoimmune symptoms. I noticed last year that I couldn’t push myself the way I used to because I’d be sore and exhausted for days. I also got sick twice after very hard workouts, which was unusual for me. This kind of schedule has enabled me to stay active without overdoing it. It’s working for me right now 🙂 I’d love to hear how you structure your week of workouts! If you need help setting up a workout plan, I have a freebie you can download here. You can also try Fit Team free here! This is my full wellness hub with new strength workouts each month, a schedule for how to build your wekely plan (and substitute group classes), recipes, meal guides, educational modules, and playlists. Join the team here. Have a great day and I’ll see ya soon! xo Gina The post Week of workouts appeared first on The Fitnessista. via The Fitnessista https://ift.tt/djDX8eL March 27, 2024 at 06:37AM

5 casual everyday mom uniforms
5 casual everyday mom uniforms https://ift.tt/UWevdO8 Hi friends! How’s the day going? I hope you’re having a wonderful morning. Last night, I went to a super fun event at Creative Tribe with some girlfriends. We got to learn about tarot cards – don’t worry, I won’t be switching my online business lol- and embroidered a tarot card tote bag. Creative Tribe has so many unique crafting events, and it’s BYOB, so you can sip wine out of a Yeti cup. Not a bad way to spend the evening. Casual Everyday Mom Uniforms For today’s post, I thought I’d share some of the casual mom uniforms I’ve been wearing lately. I love getting outfit ideas from friends, especially the type of clothes that I can wear everyday and look *put together* for all of the things I do during the day: chase the girls around, work, run errands, play dolls on the living room floor, or kick a soccer ball outside with the kids. I would love to live in lulu 100% of the time, but I find that I feel better and am more productive when I take a little time to get dressed in non-athletic clothes. (This post totally includes one athletic outfit because #reallife) 1) Everlane button-down with jean shorts and a scarf headband (with these sandals) I got this headband idea from Jess and it’s fun trendy detail and way to hide the fact that my hair needs a wash.  This shirt was my first time ordering from Everlane and I’ll definitely be trying out more of their pieces.  (I wasn’t sure about sizing and am usually between a 2 and 4 for tops. I ordered a 2 and it worked perfectly. I might try a 4 if it’s something that’s more fitted) It’s the perfect everyday white button-down: lightweight, not too see-through, and washes well. These denim shorts are super comfortable and easy to incorporate into different cute mom outfits. 2) Express black romper with embellished sandals (

Friday Faves 3.22
Friday Faves 3.22 https://ift.tt/EtXqejC Hi friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? I can’t believe that we’re already at the end of March and fully into spring! I hope that you have a wonderful weekend ahead. It’s going to be a busy one for our fam. I have two choir performances – local friends, come and see Requiem. If you’d like to attend, I have a discount code I can email to you – and Liv has a dance competition! I’m going to be singing in between the dance shuffle… wish me luck 🙂 It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below. Friday Faves 3.22 Life: Vegas fun! The Pilot and I got to enjoy a Vegas weekend together with friends. We originally went up for the basketball tournament, but the Cats lost on Friday night. It was a bummer, but it freed up more time for Vegas adventures 😉 Some highlights from the trip: We got an upgraded suite at the Venetian, which was a lovely treat. Little room service pic: Parents’ night out: (dress is here from Amazon! Shoes are here) Dinner at STK: The famous Flower Drink from the Cosmopolitan: We stayed out until 3am, slept in, and then wandered downstairs to the Canyon Ranch spa and had brunch there. (I had this awesome lentil hummus with veggies, a latte, and a sesame salad with chicken) Shopping at Fashion Show: Dinner at the Wynn buffet: (this was EPIC. We need to take the kids!) The necessary sparkly Vegas dress: (from RTR Unlimited) and time chiling the hotel room watching Love is Blind, which also felt like an indulgent treat. It was the perfect mix of friend time, couples time, party time, and relaxation. My cup is very full after such an amazing weekend! Read, watch, listen: I haven’t watched Love is Blind in years – since the first season!- and this new season is SO good. 20 minutes in and I was hooked lol. How to let go of the past and forgive. Press about our new Beautycounter fragrances. You can get your discovery set here. I’ll also be sharing samples soon! Fitness + good eats: Copycat Glow Bowl recipe from Flower Child. 45-minute Pilates workout. Use this link to try Sculpt Society for free! I take a class at least once per week. They’re the perfect mix of dance cardio and barre-esque strength. My favorite sweet potato tortillas. Fashion + beauty: Some spring Amazon fashion finds! I have this set in red and black and love it. These slide sandals. This Free People dupe romper. This midi dress would be so cute with slides or white sneakers. This sleeveless mini dress. I have this dress in pink and it’s so pretty for spring and summer. Got a delivery from Beautycounter of some of my favorite staples: the Supreme cream, overnight peel, and lipgloss. Definitely check out this video about the fragrance loophole. I’m so so excited for you to try our new Beautycounter fragrances! (Surprise samples went out to 40 previous Beautycounter clients this week!) Happy Friday, friends! What are you up to this weekend? What’s one of your faves from the week? xo Gina The post Friday Faves 3.22 appeared first on The Fitnessista. via The Fitnessista https://ift.tt/lYt1uka March 22, 2024 at 06:41AM

Four Ways Physical Activity Benefits Your Health
Four Ways Physical Activity Benefits Your Health https://ift.tt/9N4nYao Physical activity is essential for maintaining good health and well-being. Regular exercise has numerous benefits for the body and mind, including reducing the risk of chronic diseases and improving mental health. In this blog post, we will explore four ways physical activity benefits your health. Reduces the risk of chronic diseases  According to Healthline, physical activity can reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Engaging in regular exercise helps to lower blood pressure, improve blood sugar control, and increase insulin sensitivity. Physical activity also helps to lower cholesterol levels and reduce inflammation in the body, which are both risk factors for chronic diseases. Harvard Health Publishing reports that regular exercise can also reduce the risk of some types of cancer, such as breast and colon cancer. Helps with weight management  Physical activity is an essential factor in maintaining a healthy weight. According to Everyday Health, exercise helps to burn calories, increase muscle mass, and improve metabolism. Regular exercise also helps to reduce body fat, particularly around the waist. Harvard Health Publishing notes that engaging in physical activity can help prevent weight gain in the first place, as well as maintain weight loss over time. Improves mental health  Physical activity has numerous benefits for mental health. Healthline notes that exercise can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, improve mood, and increase self-esteem. Harvard Health Publishing reports that regular exercise can also help to improve cognitive function, including memory and concentration. Exercise can also reduce stress levels and enhance sleep quality, which is vital for mental health. Strengthens bones and muscles  Regular physical activity is essential for maintaining strong bones and muscles. Everyday Health notes that exercise helps to increase bone density, which is important for preventing osteoporosis. Exercise also helps to increase muscle mass and strength, which can improve balance and reduce the risk of falls. Harvard Health Publishing reports that physical activity can also improve flexibility and mobility, particularly in older adults. In conclusion, physical activity is essential for maintaining good health and well-being. Engaging in regular exercise can help reduce the risk of chronic diseases, manage weight, improve mental health, and strengthen bones and muscles. It is crucial to find an exercise routine that is enjoyable and sustainable to reap these benefits over the long term. Friday Faves 3.15
Friday Faves 3.15 https://ift.tt/9BJue32 Hi friends! Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had an amazing week. We’re heading off on a little weekend adventure – I’ll share the fun over on IG stories! I’m also diving into High Performance Health modules and am so excited about this content. What do you have going on this weekend? I’d love to hear what you’re up to! (sourdough and Mazer. The perfect combo) It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below. Friday Faves 3.15 Read, watch, listen: The great joy of returning to your childhood hobbies. I relate to this so much! I’m singing in the symphony choir, taking Spanish lessons, and who knows, maybe I’ll start playing piano again. Tips to boost your joy. If you’re looking for weeknight meal inspo, check out this post. Excellent podcast episode about menopause. Fashion + beauty: Maybe my internet sleuth friends out there can help me. I got this dress in this week’s RTR unlimited shipment and I LOVE it. It’s classic, the color is fun, and I can’t find it anywhere online. To buy it through RTR is $300 and I don’t love it that much 😉 Any ideas?? The brand is Derek Lam. (A little peek at the new floors! They look a million times better.) New Vuori goodies! Vuori is my favorite spot to order athletic clothes right now. The quality is amazing, the colors are gorgeous, and they’re well-made and flattering. I got this tank and this pair of shorts: another energy tank (my fave out of all of them) and these bike shorts and a new jumpsuit. I have a few Vuori jumpsuits and this year’s verison is even better. It has a waistband, built-in bra (!), and tapered legs, in the same dreamy fabric. Fitness, health, and good eats: New-to-me cookbook find. A friend raved about this one, so I ordered a copy! I’m excited to try some new recipes this week. Loving this oatmeal blend from Trader Joe’s! It has 8g of protein and excellent ingredients. Peanut butter pretzel bars. Peanut butter oatmeal cookie granola.  Happy Friday, friends! xo Gina The post Friday Faves 3.15 appeared first on The Fitnessista. via The Fitnessista https://ift.tt/trnbTyf March 15, 2024 at 09:43PM
