I love this wip and this is not a criticism to u as an author more a vent about the attitudes of the characters (even tho i completely understand why they have to behave the way they do around strangers, it's just frustrating from the pov of the mc) like, reading about a child whose own mother pretends not to be related to them in public is heartbreaking and I always have to act out and be a little brat when im playing as my mc bc like,, what kid wouldnt😭 it feels hypocritical for the MC's family to tell them that they have nothing to be ashamed of with regards to their heritage and then only ever act ashamed of them around strangers, and to then be surprised/confused when the MC has tantrums and meltdowns like jfc they are gonna grow up so traumatised😅 again, I understand its the society the characters live in and I think this is more a testament to ur ability to write complex nuanced characters than anything else. It just hurts my heart. I can't wait for the (even angstier) teen phase❤️

To be totally honest, it hurts my heart too. (Sometimes I get so depressed about Mc that I'm forced to let the story rest so I can feel better and come back to it. XD)

I only dream of one thing, that Mc can show how extraordinary half-bloods are. But there are still so many things Ash and Elianna have to plan before that, so many obstacles for Mc to overcome.

"Honey, don't you want to take off your bandana?" Elianna asks you as you sit inside.

Your eyes widen and you fidget uncomfortably before tugging lightly on the fabric covering your ears. Making sure it's firmly in place. "I uh, no it's okay."

At your mother's confused look, you add with a small smile. "It's better this way. It makes me feel normal when no one sees them."

Elianna inhales painfully. "You're normal, and it doesn't matter what your ears look like."

Just played through the demo. My MC is on a quest to murder Arthur. Not even out of jealousy, baby just fell in hate at first sight. My MC is like a chihuahua with anger issues that saw another dog (Arthur) for the first time in its life and immediately decided they must fight to the death.

I think it will be funny to see the adults trying to contain their feral murder child. Everyone is hoping this is a phase. It is not. This is my favorite dynamic.

Careful, there's only one step from hate to love.

I don't know if you said it before or not, I couldn't find it (may be my ineptitude, or Tumblr's, not that it changes anything), but are you thinking about including some poly options (it's fine if you don't, I understand it involves some difficulty for the coding and writing)? I ask mainly because I love both Arthur and Corden (it's so hard to not play as having a crush on Arthur, lol), so I don't know if I would he able to not want them both. Of course, I can just make two different saves. I just wanted to make sure.

No poly is planned yet, but who knows, maybe that will change. I'm sorry to be so vague, dear anon.
