Ideas for securing the Inauguration

Woke up at 8:45pm, and started to worry about the inauguration. Trump did say that he was not attending. Planned a few things to prevent a repeat of the Capitol riots to make myself feel better. 1).  Have Delta Force determine where Trump supporters might form up, and station about three divisions of infantry with SAWs to set up fire lanes. 2). Back them up with water cannon units from Metro PD. 3). Set up Active Denial System microwave arrays to follow up on the water cannons. https://ko-fi.com/kevsterooni

Normally I view Law Enforcement as two legged predators, who don't care about guilt when trying to pad their arrest records with people who don't fight back. This time I'll say now and for the record that when everything went horribly wrong, the Metro PD did everything right. In a situation like this police have to delay rioters while Congress gets into bunkers, and they were able to handle the extraction of ballot boxes. Considering what the insurgents were doing after they entered the Capitol, having access to ballots would have resulted in members of the Electoral college being murdered by militia units.

When I was playing ShadowRun, I always wanted to put points into your teammates differently than the game did. Does that make me obsessive compulsive???

Rather than maintaining the experience and equipment of a full team of party members, in Shadowrun Returns the player only updates their individual character between missions. Outside of that and a handful of story-based exceptions, additional party members are hired through a middle man, with their classes and abilities kept in lockstep with the player as they finish story missions (so characters the player used before increase in cost as well as capability over time along with them). This intelligently maintains the connection to traditional tabletop RPGs that the game is trying to maintain, while also reducing the general strain of maintenance that a party of characters often demands.
