#yikes #really vibing with this now that i'm graduating from my workplace of the past 6 years realizing that one reason that i never fit in #with some of the guys was because i wasn't a guy. period. #also thinking about how 'one of the guys' makes sexual comments to multiple (4) of my female colleagues and friends #and how easily that can escalate if no one says anything. and i said something. and only 1 of the many guys said anything at all. #and it didn't change anything about how that creep is in the main group and I never was. #misha speaks #thinking of how if i (and that 1 other guy) didn't say anything that guy probably would've been teaching 18 year girls and trans people now #now that i'm leaving i have so much to say and I want to say it to their face. especially the guys who watch seminars on how #support women in stem and guys who can say the word 'misogynist' when they're talking about other men and behind their backs. #and these men will gladly prioritize friendship with a guy who sexually harasses my friends over my friends and over me #god and to think that i thought there was something wrong with me and that i could fix that. it wasn't me but i can't fix it. #i literally can only say my piece and leave and it does break my heart because i thought i hadn't experienced sexism here.

In response to Slate's article on the possibility having non-heteromative team in figure skating (particularly, ice dance and pairs), Oniceperspective shared a glimpse of Gabriella Papadakis (FRA) and Madison Hubbell (USA) working on their same-sex program. You can see how they switch the leading figure between them.
