hello! im alan marco, or you might know me as my studyblr name, alanstudy!

i have turned sixteen. on my instagram, @/alanmrco, i posted a letter to 15.

“dear fifteen,

you’ve been a hell of a ride. ups and downs, twists and turns. ive learned so many things from you, and ive learned so many things about me. when you came around, fifteen, i felt like my mind was a maze, one i couldn’t leave or figure out. now that sixteen approaches me and you begin to fade away, my mind feels like a kaleidoscope of vivid colors waiting to be released. i feel like sixteen couldn’t have landed at a better time, because it feels like im turning a page who’s been begging to be turned, and im leaving all doubts and fears etched into other pages behind me; it feels like im ready to let go of you, and ready to escape into a paradise dreams and ambitions. sixteen, i have so many things planned for you. so here’s to another year of love, passion, and happiness. i believe in you sixteen.”

music has taken over my life, in the best way possible. i have been writing and singing and creating for the past few months. this is what i want to do forever.

today i will be opening a new chapter of my life. i will be letting go of alanstudy and i will be letting in new opportunities in <3 i hope you understand. before i let go of all of my studying friends, i would like to thank anyone who has shown me love and support on the platform, because ive gotten nothing but love ever since the beginning. any message, reblog, or even like, thank you. you kept me going.

you guys kept me going so much that it pushed me to do bigger things. better things. things that ive always wanted to do. so much in fact that, (news!) im releasing a song on november 16th called “MIDNIGHT SAND”. ill post the teaser on this blog, but you can also find it on my instagram!

i would love for you to continue to follow me on my journey. if you would like to unfollow, that is fine with me too! this blog will be used for music purposes, life updates and all. im stillthe same me!!

hi it’s alan!!!!!!!!

i just wanted to really quick wanted to thank all of my supportive followers for still reblogging and liking and loving my content from the beginning, and even after my hiatus.

i haven’t been active all summer, but now with school approaching i hope to post more planner and art related things for you guys!!

—oh and yes, im still doing the music thing! im working to make more songs, but unfortunately i don’t have the funds to make it how i would like, with a laptop, a mic, and other things needed to make music seriously.

this fall i will be getting a job to support me making music, so i can finally chase my dream of having an ep. (if you have any other ideas on how i can earn money that would be helpful!!)

and again, i want to thank the people who have been there for not only my tumblr posts, but my music as well. thank you, and ill be posting more!

so, in my eyes is about a girl. this girl doesn’t feel comfortable with herself; she’s the quiet one. the one that feels like she doesn’t belong. in my eyes tells this girl to come out of her shell. all the “flaws” that she sees in herself, is what makes her beautiful. it’s what makes her unique. i didn’t just slap lyrics onto this track, if you noticed. the lyrics speak about how in my eyes, she’s beautiful.

what inspired me you ask? the girls who feel like they aren’t enough. the ones who get plastered with the medias vision of themselves. the ones who are told they’re not pretty. because it’s not true. forget what she said, you’re beautiful in my eyes, as the song says. this song is for those girls. keep going.
