I think it is incredible that you can imbue mundane items with powerful intent. something as simple as a bar of soap can become an enchantment to protect.
of course, the items i would prefer to enchant would be natural, pure items derived from real power sources. earth, fire, air, water, elemental power. but the thought that even the most common item you use day to day fills with exponential energy. personally, i would be using earthen derived items. but thats just me. i save up money to buy pure products.
as a S/T/E/M environmental major, it is amazing how I can mentally conceptualize magic and science into one. carbon has such malleable and powerful properties. its pretty magical if you ask me. nature, in itself, is magical in its diversity and biodiversity. it makes perfect sense to me. kinetic, potential energy in elements around us. atoms and bounds and their vibrations, are a pretty magical concept to me.
this is all just conceptual to me. i have not looked into any kind of books or topics involving the “science” of witchcraft. i enjoy imagining it more. one day i’ll dive into that. but for now. its fulfilling enough to just acknowledge what i see and have learned through school to another part of my journey. i went through the education system, but now my next journey is in magic. science will always be apart of my mundane, which will keep everyday of mine just that much more magical when i make connections such as these.
