this is the way im currently thinking about it

the united states, as a nation, is a car. tr*mp is in the driver's seat. ahead is a wall made of solid concrete seven feet thick and covered in explosives. that wall is full-on genocidal fascism.

tr*mp has removed the brakes, set the car on fire, and has the gas pedal glued to the floor. dead-on speeding towards the concrete wall explosion that will kill millions and wreck the lives of millions more.

the b*den/h*rris campaign is like, a shitton of mattresses and packing foam and shit. cushioning, basically. each voter has a handful of cotton balls to add to the cushioning.

and what we're trying to do is shove as much padding in front of the explosion wall as possible so that when tr*mp crashes and burns the impact sucks less.
